A Campfire at the End of Time
One moment, you were living your life, whether you stood in a position of sorrow or joy, for better or worse, you were living. And the next.. nothing. Suddenly, with the force of a massive fist, you were slammed forward, blinded for a moment, before... appearing.. in cold, empty blackness, endless in its size floating in a space entirely silent, devoid of gravity, sound, and oxygen.. but yet... you breathed. You felt.. powerful.. so powerful. And as you looked around, scanning the Void around you, you saw others. Gradually, you moved towards them, and realized, that they were just normal people too, judging by their confusion. You struggled to find a word to properly describe this new-found power, and suddenly, like a bright light in the void of your mind, it came upon you......

You were a God.

"I-I can finally do it!" Mira shouted to herself. "I can finally carry all the burden of everyone-- wait a second! I'm a god! I can just balance all the suffering out with my powers!" A grand mirror formed in front of the goddess. She was mesmerized by her newly found beauty. "I'm so pretty! I need a new name... I know!" The mirror exploded into billions of scarlet sparkles. "From this day forth, I shall be known as Laniakea--Law of the Cycles!" the sparkles exploded into stars and shaped themselves into a galaxy. "And the rules... pretty much the same as last time, except everything should be balanced... for as much sadness there is in the Universe, there's an equal amount of joy somewhere else. Aaand... I can't think of anything else." At the clap of her hands, billions of other galaxies appeared in the Void, and soon, they dotted it everywhere.

Gary stood there as the truth of the matter flowed over him. He looked to the others as they appeared around him. No longer will he be looked over, no longer will he be outshined. He watched as one of the others created many galaxies, and decided he was going to recreate their planet. He focused on a spot near a large blue star, creating a livable rock on which people could thrive on. Except he made it larger and larger, creating mountain ranges for him to rule from. He took the form of a might dragon and went down to the planet to claim the largest mountain he created.

Gary looked about at his work, smiling. A worthy throne indeed, and began to work on the surrounding details to let all those know he was the ruler! He will be a loved god, he will be the most loved god! Taking the name Gearkin, he made his form grow even larger, preparing to rule in a glorious manner. Gearkin sat there as he began to think about his next move, stretching his new wings and smelling the new air.

A massive grey shape appeared, mostly cloaked by sudden, motionless fog. It turned its massive head from side to side, in confusion, spotting the others. It slowly moved over, its great one eye blinking, before it paused, looking in the growing universe around it, realization dawning. A great, invisible swirling mass began to whirl about him, before he sent it, charging silently off into space. The "Winds" blew past the other Gods, and suddenly, five of the brand new galaxies were picked up by the wave, and hurled together into a central area, causing a blinding flash of light, and a new center of gravity. The winds blasted outwards, pushing the other galaxies into motion around the "Anchor" he had made. Everything began to move, including the blue star and Gearkin's new rocky planet. The massive grey dragon paused, satisfied, as the universe began to spin. It remembered its past life, and felt that the name it once had no longer fit it truly. He took on the name Ovakaan The Timeless instead.

"Well I was gonna get to that, but whatever." Laniakea looked around at all of the slow-moving galaxies and then back at Ovakaan. "So, uhh... what now? Wait, are humans still a thing?" In her spree of creating the Universe, she had forgotten completely about everyone's burdens, and the goddess had no idea if rewriting reality's laws meant restarting time as well. And this dragon roughly twenty times her size (despite retaining her human form, she had grown to the size of a skyscraper) seemed to know enough.

"Considering you made the galaxies, and I set them in motion, it is likely that humans are not around," he said reasonably, and quite plainly, turning his attention towards the small world below them. "But.. there does seem to be a planet there. A gigantic empty rock, but still a planet. And I can see one of our.... "Fellows" down there as well, sitting on a mountain." He paused, slowly flying downwards towards the planet. "Presumably, we have to create. It would be.. wise to start with the basics... but.. I am not quite sure what they are.. Not an exactly an expert in universe-creating," the dragon said neutrally, landing on a massive craggy plain of rock, leaving craters. He looked around him, before creating another swirling wind, setting it loose throughout the world, his wind touching every corner of the planet, engulfing the world with his wind and oxygen, until slowly, he built up an atmosphere.

"I'll get that part, but... do you really think we should lave and sort of life form with him?" she pointed down at the big, scary, red dragon with a puzzled look on her face until she realized that she was really the one in control... or so she thought. "That's right! With the Laws I set in place, there'll always be an opposite energy to balance out the negatives. If it gets too bad here, I can just watch over something else!" Laniakea put her hands out in front of her and aimed at the planet. A green, glowing sparkle shot out of a glyph and broke through the planet's atmosphere, and when it finally neared the ground, it came to a halt. An explosion of jade light erupted from it, followed by a countless number of small, lizard-like creatures. "I sure hope there's water there..."

He sighed, simply watching. "Something tells me that this planet is all we've got. I don't want to waste it.," he explained. He watched the tiny lizards appear, breathing in the atmosphere he made. He watched them, thinking. Suddenly, half of them floated into the air, and he began to designate genders amongst the lizards, so that they could reproduce. After all, that was what was logical. He then looked about, puffing out a few small clouds from his mouth, letting them float into the sky, before he caused them to rain. He focussed them over one spot where he made a small indenture to act as a pond for the lizards. He looked up at the other God, unsure what to do now.

Gearkin watches as a few others begin to breathe life into the planet he had created. It was oddly beautiful, and he decided to join in. He shaped the mountains, beginning from his own location, traveling along their formation. He carved out ravines and caverns, accentuating his own mountain throne. He watched from afar as the other dragon began creating a pond. Ignoring the lifeforms he has created, he focused on the pond, carving out deep rivers, swirling out in a pleasing pattern. He looked down upon his work, looking up to the others already near the planet, looking for approval.

"What...?" The red dragon helping with building was an odd sight to Laniakea. Weren't things like that supposed to knock stuff down...? That's what I get for judging a book by its cover, she thought to herself, finally able to put a smile on her face. "Thank you for helping with all this stuff. It looks really pretty. Mind making some jungles here and there, too? That giant grey dragon has the ocean and atmosphere covered. And maybe when you're finished, I'll give you a kingdom to rule!" She was initially going to laugh, but it didn't seem like a half bad idea... after all, the beast is pretty helpful... "Yeah, you'll get a kingdom when you're done. Ooh! I almost forgot. How are we gonna work together as gods if we don't even know each other's names? I'm Laniakea. And I kind of recreated the Universe!" She was still proud of it, but she didn't realize that her friendliness was getting the best of her.

Gearkin smirks at Laniakea's approval, but his frown quickly turns at the mention of giving him a kingdom. He took a more defensive stance, raising his head high to show his size.

"I'm a god here, same as you. I'll make myself a kingdom if I wanted one! My old self may have taken that lying down, but I'm not so helpless anymore!" His voice coming out a deep rumble, slightly shaking the surrounding land.

Gearkin settled back down, keeping his eyes on Laniakea. At the same time he dotted the planet with deserts, raising most of the land, and lowering only a few spots, making the planet a complete opposite of it's former self, all to spit Laniakea for thinking so little of him. He snorted, then waited for her response.

Reed looked at his new body in surprise. "I look awesome!!" He screamed. 'With this awesome new body I'm gonna need a new name' he thought. 'Well, I always liked the name Kuro, so Kuro the king of chaos will do fine'. He looked around and saw others like him on a planet that reminded him of his past. He went and saw as they created life. He flew over to them, "Hello you must be fellow gods, I'm Kuro!" He excidedly said, eager to finally have someone to talk to.

Louie knew he was just on Earth. He knew that he was just on a planet, orbiting around a yellow sun. But what he didn't know, was why he was where he was. However, he felt different. Louie didn't bother looking down at himself before he forced himself to go through his metamorphosis. He was know holding a huge shield and sword. His body was covered in black armour. The armour made his eyes look yellow through the helm. Just above, a blue gem was glowing faintly, emitting an illusion of mist. He had several more gems on his chest plate. The look he had radiated power. "From hence forth, I'll be known as Violen. No other title, my name should be pretty easy to work out." Violen looked down at his gauntlet. This was amazing! Louie didn't know if it was real, gut he almost knew for a fact he was a god. "But perhaps I shouldn't be in this form for now..." Violen then shifted into a human form he thought was suitable for his name. (Check my CS, I have updated it) He then looked around to see three other people. "No people just yet...hm..."

Ovakaan watched the rivers form with a small hum, nodding to the smaller red dragon. "I... am Ovakaan, the Timeless," he said, in a voice like a great sighing. He watched the others begin to argue, and he sighed once more. "We cannot argue this early in our Creation of the world. None of you are allowed to forget the fact that we are Gods. Our anger and our emotions can permanently alter this world." He paused, looking down at the lizards for a moment, realizing none of them were moving. "Uh... we forgot to create Time, and Spirits... and.. well.. everything these little guys need." He gave the lizards bright coloring, the males green, and the females blue, so the Gods could tell them apart. "I.. am not sure I know how to create Time... can someone else cover that?" He paused, hearing Laniakea talking excitedly. "Kingdoms and jungles have to wait... we haven't even made plants yet, or single-celled organisms." He paused, as a wolf.. thing came down from above, calling itself Kuro. "Greetings, Kuro..."

"You need someone to creat time?" Kuro asks. "Well that seems realy complicated so I'll let someone else do it, but I can probably make something else," Kuro grinned as he neared a mountain. When he got to the mountain Kuro sliced the top off the mountain with his claws. He then took out all of the earth that was inside and filled it with magma. Kuro smirked as he made the now valcanoe erupt.

Isabelle awoke in this void of nothingness, and shortly after felt a surge of power rushing through her. She felt as though this void would be a canvas to make things of beauty.

She looked down at her new form, green skin, a white dress with lightning bolts decorating the hem of it, and lastly a circle made of... Who knows what, the material was foreign to her around the top of her head... It had the likeness of the sun and the moon on it. After a bit of grabbing at it she found that they move in an orbit around her head.

She floated towards the first landmark.. Well the only landmark she saw, which was a few others... Including large dragons on a rocky world.

"Hello" she said simply as she slowly melted into this crowd.

Violen slowly floated over to the tiny reptiles. "Hmm, this won't do..." Violen began to think of something to fix this. Something like...a predator. But what shall it look like? Maybe a bird? Or perhaps a shark? A land shark? A land shark! That was it. Obviously nothing too big. Bigger then the lizards, that's for sure. But nothing the same size as a dog or a cat. Just slightly bigger then the reptiles. With a snap of his fingers, a single fin appeared in the ground. It began to stalk the small lizard creatures. Suddenly, a shark like creature jumped up, taking one of the creatures in it's mouth and bit it in half. Then, it ate the remains of the creature. "Now, let's see how the reptiles survive. Evolve!"

This creation erased any doubt in her mind... She and all the others here, were gods of this place. She thought for a moment, and figured a new name would be in order. She decided on Adimie, it sounded elegant, fit for a goddess.

With this new name she worked out her first course of action. Without waiting for any of the others to acknowledge her she softly hovered her finger over large swaths of land near the rivers, and the pond. Moments later these areas were turning a shade of green as small forms of plant life took shape. It was mostly grasses and shrubs with patches of berries to be eaten by the lizards. With a satisfied huff she crossed her arms and spoke once more.

" a pleasure to meet you all"

Once Adimie introduced herself, Violen soon realised he should have introduced himself to his fellow gods too. "My name is Violen. No other title. It is pointless." Violen then went to watching his shark creature hunt down the lizards in their fresh environment. "Hurry and evolve. You will soon be able to overcome my creation little ones."

Kuro looked at his fellow gods. "I am Kuro, I think we should make a species like humans from my previous life," Kuro said. "It would interesting to watch them evolve, don't you think so Violen?" Kuro being the devious god he was, was trying to make humans so that he could watch chaos come along the species.

"Indeed!" Violen turned Kuro. "We would put them through hardships and suffering to see how they change for the best! They would come out stronger! And then we could up the challenge again! They become even stronger! It's marvellous! It's spectacular! It is brilliant!" Violen had a feeling that Kuro was up to something else. But, he said exactly what he had planned from the beginning. "War, violence and destruction. All things that make people better when they come out of it! If they don't give up that is."

Hyde was just doing his normal thing. Taking a smoking break whilst looking up at the stars. Out of no where a massive force and blinding light practically bitch slapped the boy. He shut is eyes out to shut out the bright light shinning, but to be shocked when he opened them. Hyde was no longer in the alley behind the bar he's worked at for who knows how long, but floating in a mass of nothingness. The boy gasped when he noticed his scared hands are now flawless and so fair. The boy was lost and had no idea what the hell was going on.

Opening her eyes, she saw what looked to be the universe. No, a universe. Something told her that this wasn’t where she had previously been. Looking around, she felt...odd, being suspended within thin air yet without a defined form. Casting her gaze to a now growing planet, she saw others atop its surface despite the vast distance between them. Noticing a few dragons, she decided to follow suit. She willed herself change, doing so with little effort, now taking the form a black dragon. Noticeably smaller than the one with a single eye, yet a bit larger than the one donning red scales.

She was about to approach the small bunch when she paused. Her human name wouldn’t fit here, so after a bit of contemplating the matter, she decided on Kunvu, The Dream Weaver. Then, with a flap of her leathery wings, the dragon plowed her way through the void and towards the planet. Though never having been a dragon of all things before, she didn’t really know how to stop. Crashing into the beautiful landscape, Kunvu rolled into a tangled mess of wings, legs, and tail.

Ovakaan sighed, watching volcanoes, and predators, and new gods appearing like some terrible flood. However, he could see grass and shrubs appear, and smiled to himself, happy that atleast one God was doing something productive. He heard someone mention humans, and he sighed. "Have none of you any creativity?" he asked them all, frowning. "Do we not know what Humans will do, what they have done in our world?" He was quite concerned with how quickly and foolishly they moved and created. The massive one-eyed dragon looked up as another dragon came down to la- he paused, as the dragon smashed into the ground, flattening hills and newborn grass beneath it. He growled, flying into the air, moving over, each beat of his wings with winds like those of a hurricane. "What are you.. why...." he asked, before simply sighing, peering down at the dragon tangled up on the ground. "Why choose that form if you cannot control it?" However, suddenly, his one, murky grey eye looked up, as the sun suddenly began to make bright light, and its warmth could be felt from the planet's surface, as it changed from blue to a bright red.

Evalynn appeared in the void, and it was.. so dark.. so cold... she sat there, huddling against herself, arms wrapped about her legs, fear in her eyes, before she paused, feeling a powerful warmth within her. She felt.. powerful... and as she looked around.. she could see... a universe forming. Her eyes found a planet.. seemingly the only one, and she flew towards it, laughing in joy as she soared through the dark expanse of space like a shooting star. She paused, giving herself time to look down at herself, realizing that she had changed into.. well.. someone else entirely. She decided, that she should change her name, and thus, she began to think. She looked upon a small blue sun, and hurled herself into it, simply for shits and giggles. The sun roared with heat and light, turning an incredible, bright red, glowing throughout the universe. She emerged from the sun, engulfed by flame, and she laughed joyfully, soaring down to the surface of the planet, hovering there, glowing in the sky as she watched the goings-on below her.

Gearkin watched the other gods, observing carefully how they behaved. He noticed the other dragon seemed to have his wits about him. The large dragon reminds Gearkin of a teacher he once had, one who never seemed to notice him in class. This was a chance to make things happen another way, for he had power now.

Yet another dragon came to meet the group, though admittedly not as graceful as Gearkin was. With his arrival though, Gearkin noticed the other dragons were both larger than him. He remembered being the first dragon, creating the planet as well! He wasn't about to be outdone. Slowly he began to increase the size of himself, doing the same for the planet to accommodate his size when he eventually, inevitably, becomes the largest of them all.

Gearkin listened to Ovakaan, ready to impress him. Gearkin raised his head and lifted his wings to seem more impressive as he grew. He focused and brought another creature into being. It started out similar to a dog, but then he began shaping it. He made it larger, it's fur shorter and gray. His nose a little shorter, his paws larger, more human like, fingers more flexible. He increased the range of motion on it's joints, allowing it to stand or walk on all fours.

"You're right Ovakaan, humans could be mean. Although, we can create how their mind works, we can fix the mistakes, make things better. They could be human, or maybe something like this? Though I don't mind either or."

Gearkin figured he was now larger than the newest dragon, and he was on his way to being larger than Ovakaan soon. He figured if he created the planet, he gets to be the biggest. At the same time, he was thinking of other ways to improve the planet. With an idea, he filled the deep holes he made earlier with water, adding some blue to the already green and brown planet. He's quite proud of himself, making the world mostly land instead of water, and he looked to the others to see what they thought.

On top of all this, yet another showed up. This one was very bright, and seemed to like playing with the stars. A bright light came shining down, causing him to squint his eyes until they adjusted and he could see the newcomer.
