Powers/Strengths: Skilled with a blade (particularly a scythe), uses her demon claws for close combat


Backstory: In the beginning, Aoihime was a Japanese demon who took contracts as an assassin while in her mortal form. Renowned for her skills, she was contracted by a gang of yakuza to slaughter an entire family. In the back of her mind, she'd felt that something about the contract was wrong. However she vowed to never reject a job. So she fulfilled her task, killing every man, woman, and child. Except...one. A little boy, who happened to be coming back from the woods, only to find his father's corpse at Aoihime's feet, her hands covered in the scent and crimson stain of his blood. She felt guilt at having ruined the innocent life of the little boy, so instead of killing him, she spared him. The little boy yelled at her, saying that her mercy wasn't what he wanted, and took his life in front of her. Aoihime looked to the sky that day, and screamed, before she took her anger out by killing the head of the yakuza. In retaliation, they then ganged up and killed her, stabbing her in the back with an ancient katana blade. In that moment, she shed her tears stained jet-black from all her sins, and let the sweet release of death welcome her.


A benevolent god who happened to be watching her, took pity on her, and gave her the power to reincarnate in another life. Many years passed, and the world changed now to the modern age, and the year 2016. Aoihime reincarnated, her soul split into two halves however. One of light, known as Electra. One of the dark, called Xerxes. Both are now in their 20's and have yet to meet. For now.
