It would be MARVELOUS for players to be given some information regarding the RP setting,and what is and is not allowed.

History
Bernard De Mew started the Cafe in 1956 to give jobs to those who couldn't otherwise get jobs because of their outward appearances, no matter how hard they tried to hide it. Since he, himself had a unique appearance, he understood the need for acceptance and wanted to help those like himself.
To the customers who come into the store, the employees always seem to be wearing Halloween costumes, when really they are just showing their true, unique selves.
All is going well until a new employee is hired.
Will this new employee, an unsuspecting human who by accident has been added to the mix, help the company, or in fact, tear them apart?

~Regulations~
-Play Fair! Be nice to the other players and they will be nice to you.
- Romance is allowed, but it doesn't go past kissing, and it's only between a guy and a girl.
-Most of this roleplay will be played in the cafe, but I don't mind a little bit of it being outside.
-Cussing will be kept to a minimum.
-Dani_Elle and I are the queens of this roleplay, we have the power to make sure these rules are followed.
-I'll ask that you try your hardest with grammar and punctuation.
-Max of two characters. It's too much to keep up with if you have more than that.
-Don't leave the other players behind! If you are going to be gone for more than a day please let Dani_Elle or me know and try to make your character have to be absent in some way (ex. traveling, sickness ect.) so it can still continue while you are away. If you don't think you'll be able to have time to make your character leave we would ask that you allow Dani_Elle or myself to have control of your character for one post, so we can cover for your absence.

She wasn't always like she is, a neko. When she was in grade school she had many friends who loved to be around her, but about halfway through middle school was when she changed. The development was slow, and the worse it got the more she feared it. She pushed everyone away from her, began to iccolate herself, as she hid it from everyone around her. She continued this successfully until her junior in high school. Her mother walked into her room one morning before school and found her trying to hide her cat ears and tail. She tried to explain, but she couldn't, she didn't know how. But, contrary to what Charlene had always thought, her mother accepted it, and helped her continue to hide it.
It was her senior year of high school that she found the Cosplay Cafe and got a job there. She's loved every day of work because she can be herself, she doesn't have to worry about hiding who she really is.

Brief Bio:
She was born in 1757 in Great Britain, and was there when they discovered America. She remembers it all so clearly, how she crossed the vast seas to finally reach the unknown land. She also remembers the war against Britain, which is when she was turned. A man from Britain was forming a small army of his own to fight against Britain, and she was chosen as one of the few to fight. He changed her into a bloodthirsty monster, which she hates him for, but they helped to win the war. She's had to endure the ever-changing times, but she eventually got used to it, and began to gain control over her thirst. She still had to be careful in public because of her pale skin and blood red eyes, and she could only go out at night. She eventually found the Cosplay Cafe and now enjoys working the night shift there.

Rain grew up on a small farm in the middle of Montana. When her parents died in a car crash on Rain's 15th birthday, she had to move in with her Aunt and Uncle... In California. But not just any part of California, but San Francisco. It was the largest culture change Rain had ever experienced. Settling into her new school was easy enough, so long as she could keep her secret. Being a werewolf wasn't something you just wanted to share. Two years passed before her secret was discovered by the head cheerleader, Monique... But unlike what Rain had expected, the girl didn't tell anyone. In fact, they became best friends.
It was her 18th birthday. A happy day for everyone. Her Aunt and Uncle got her a new car, and Monique threw her a surprise party. That night she stayed with Monique, not wanting to disturb her Aunt and Uncle by coming home that late. With a grin on her face she went home the next morning, thinking nothing of the unlocked door, she continued in. Rain made it to the kitchen before she stopped dead in her tracks. Her Aunt and Uncle lay dead on the floor, blood pooled around their bodies. The police showed up quickly, investigated the scene, and a short time later started the trial. Once everything was over and the murderer put behind bars, Rain left. She left San Francisco, driving east until the road ended. She found herself in New York, hoping to begin a new life. Within a few months she found the Cosplay Cafe, put in an application, and started working. It's been three years, and her life is wonderful... So far.

Brief bio: Vralik enjoyed a quiet life in the forest, hidden away from society. However, when he turned 13 exorcists who knew of their existence came to "purge" them from the world. He escaped, but was forced to hide in the worst place possible, one of the largest cities in the country. Regardless of what he did to continue living, wings are not an easy thing to hide from onlookers, and he would inevitably be mistrusted and injured because of them. Rather than find the cosplay cafe, one of its managers found him, and invited him in to utilize one of his skills that had become most practiced over the course of living alone, the culinary variety. He has now been working as a chef for around four or five years, and is perfectly content to continue his life as-is.

Tattoos/piercings: He has flowing black marks all along his right arm, that look like a combination between wind and flower petals. This is actually a birthmark, though most simply assume it to be a tattoo.
Other: Has a tendency of throwing ingredients not fully known by the mortal world to returning customers, to accentuate the flavor or help with a bad day

Age: Looks roughly 20 is actually much older than that.

Brief Bio: Ariadne always had a soft spot for humanity. Against the wishes of the Archangels and her other "superiors", she would often descend onto Earth and grace a human in need with her presence. If they were sick with disease, she'd lend all her strength and energy to them so they could pull through. If one was on the verge of death and past the point of saving, she'd comfort them in their final moments. For a couple hundred years she took great joy in treating humans with all kinds of her own personal blessings. This went on until the day she'd fallen into a trap set by some demons and their respective worshipers. After ceaseless torturing for several months, they'd finally lopped off her wings and entombed her in a cave.
During World War 2 a stray tank shell had struck the surface above her "tomb" and blew open a new entrance to it. The shell belonged to a British tank crew that ended up investigating the entrance they blew after winning the battle. Soon enough, they had discovered Ariadne. They originally thought she was merely a refugee as a result of the war, but they quickly realized she wasn't exactly human-evident by the stubs stemming out of her back.
After being taken away from the frontlines, she found herself wandering the world on foot. The lack of her wings kept her from returning to her home, and the trauma of her torture took away most of her will to help people. Holding steady work was hard and always caused great anxiety for her because of her stubs. Whenever a co-worker or employer discovered them, she'd be shunned or run out from whatever town or village she happened to be staying in. But once she came across the Cosplay Cafe and was hired as a waitress, she found that some of her former joy had come back. She didn't have to worry so much about hiding her stubs, and on top of that she had the opportunity to occasionally give a customer one of her blessings if she felt that they really needed it.

Other: Wears a pair of fake angel wings on her back as a part of her uniform. They serve as a reminder of sorts of her former nature before being trapped on earth. And instead of wearing the band on her head that's part of her uniform, she instead wears a ribbon to hold her hair into a ponytail.

Thank you all for joining! We realized we didn't have something in the template that we needed, what shift they work, so if you could go back into your template and add it in, that would be great. I've added it into the blank templates, under Uniform, above Tattoos and Piercings. Thank you very much.

Just to let everyone know, the shifts go as such: the day shift starts at 6am and runs to 5pm. If we get enough characters not everyone will have to be there that whole time, but I suppose it wouldn't effect the roleplay either way. The night shift starts at 5pm and runs to 4am. They have a couple hours where their closed for cleaning and such, though I don't have a cleaning staff, so I guess we could just not mention how the store gets cleaned.
And the customer slots are for regular customer characters, the people who come on a daily basis to eat there.

For anyone wanting to play the Unsuspecting human, they need to be the kind of person that could be mistaken for a supernatural creature to make it work.
