The asylum where the characters reside was once a place of torture, patients were mistreated and tested on and even those who knew ignored the pain and deaths of the residents. After the passing of a law that outlawed ill treatment of mentally unstable patients, and after the residents were removed there were a series of mysterious deaths, the one person who survived going insane himself.


After the asylum was demolished, a new building was built on top of the ruins, locking the souls of the dead in an eternal loop with no escape.
