Nope. Never ever did.
I thought Blaze just went and gave both groups stuff?
Supreme top buenoI'm gonna pop in here real quick like and talk about what Blazu was saying in the Announcements, and say that I think all of those ideas are cool as fuuuuuuuck
I've always enjoyed role plays, but I would have to agree with the fact that if there are too many people, while it is really cool a bunch of people can come together and all share an interest in one plot, there are definitely more people into it than others are, and those who aren't into it as much will eventually just stop responding to anything and slink away into their little caves. So getting the people that are hella into it and let them do their thing is a good idea.
As for the voting of new players, normally when I'm asked to do an evaluation on the play and character, I go through a list of does there character seem well written? Will they mix well with the rest of the character? Is the writer a frequent role player? Are their past role plays well written, too? So I can dig giving real reasons about why so-and-so should or shouldn't join.
As for the Discord situation, I say hell yeah. I use discord quite often, more than I get on RPN (which is quite a lot) so I say that this is a pretty good idea and would benefit my activity in this role play.
AND BLAZU I READ IT OKAY LET ME DO MY THANG
Anyways, smugglers are another hell yes for me. If I can get my character to accidentally take some drugs Imma do it, man. I wanna give them the best trip ever, ya feel? Plus it add more opportunities for some of the characters to get together, share a blunt, but also maybe stop some smugglers from doing their illegal thing?
SoOOOooooooOoOO, all of my responses to what he was saying is a hardcore hell yeah.
Edit: I got so excited about proving Blazu wrong about me reading things that I forgot to include my thoughts about the order of which the main battles and stuff is gonna go down. Since I haven't been in any of the battles yet, I don't feel like I'm able to have a say on how this all happens since I have yet to experience it, so I'm going to go ahead and just abstain on that whole shebang.
i bet i could put something like really offensive in this comment somewhere and she'll like it before she realizes jews control the media.
Probably this actually, having a transporter seems pretty much essential so if a team can't get one you could take it but if one of the overachievers (nerds) wants it let 'em.I say yes to everything except the transporter thingie.
I think people should be able to make a transporter if they want to, but if no one does, then I think you should take it for yourself. I mean it doesn’t affect me much so I don’t mind either way.
How dare you tempt me with another character slot.
I think that'll happen naturally. I'm gonna play it like this. I'm gonna open voting up for a week, and whoever votes during the week will have their thoughts taken into consideration. That way noobs ain't waitin' for hella days like they sometimes used to, and people who don't wanna vote just don't do it. I'm not really concerned about getting a majority any one way or another, because that could easily get screwy. For instance, if a new guy joins the Alliance and somehow no one in Alliance wants the player in the rp but everybody in Legion does, then I can't just be like "aight he's in because legion has majority" nah mean. So I'm mostly concerned with what y'all think when voting season comes around, the actual ratio of yes's to no's is telling, but it isn't everything.due to the fact that there's around 20 players in total, maybe some people can choose to abstain from voting and then take the people that did vote into consideration?
hell yeah the more classes the better
The more classes the better
Well I'm glad to seeHow dare you tempt me with another character slot.

I initially liked this in theory, but I thought about it and I was like nah. Because the thing is, I don't think I should put myself in a position where I'm only on one team, or on two teams playing different roles on each. It's gotta be all one way or the other to be fair across the boards.Probably this actually, having a transporter seems pretty much essential so if a team can't get one you could take it but if one of the overachievers (nerds) wants it let 'em.
Me too lmfao but a man must dream. How you feel about each team gettin' a full week to post? Swaggy or nah?
I like this idea, but I'm hesitant as to whether it would actually increase activity in supports and sidequests.
Nah, we started with 3 and a half days for each team, so essentially once a week for everyone. Then when you guys got all altruistic it was the same thing, but there was no longer specified Legion and Alliance posting time so y'all could post whenever during the week. What I'm gettin' at now is a full 7 days for each team, so a post once every two weeks for errbody.Posting schedule
Isn't that what we started with before the whole alliance thing fucked your plans?
my discord is @lettuce#4922. i dont think it should be mandatory, due to the fact that some people simply dont have discord and cant get it, like me when i started on rpn. but having a discord would make communication far easier.
That's the thing, I'm not tryna play telephone to a minority of people that don't have discord/are completely unwilling to get one/can't get one, and I don't want those people to feel left out/trapped in a dead OOC no one pays attention to, so it's gonna have to be mandatory.Discord?
All the RPs I run have Discords and they really have taken over for OoC. I prefer it to OoC threads, tbh. A lot faster to chat, have questions answered and the such.
I actually just reworked my old TNW Transporter into an Engineer for the TNW reboot. Similarly to your character, her not using a weapon was a big deal to her identity, as she's supposed to be a very effective, but extremely cowardly merchant. I ended up reworking her into a version I actually like better. I remade her into a regular Merchant, but specified that she made her fortune in arms dealing, (which gave a nice lil layer of aristocratic hypocrisy because she's still a total coward when it comes to physical altercations) and I didn't give her a weapon. I just gave her bombs that she can throw in a panic before fleeing in terror because it went along with the whole arms dealer thing. And the idea of playing a "bombs only" character sounded fun XD. Anyway, long story short, I'm not suggesting you do exactly what I did, I'm just saying don't be afraid to rework a character because you might like what you come up with on the second go around better. And also, just because a character's class has access to a weapon doesn't necessarily mean that they have to use that weapon. However, Idk, if I personally was playing a Smuggler I'd want them to be axin' people questions you feel me lmaoi like the idea of that class, tbh. wouldve made a character for this if it had been up from the beginning. if i have to, i could probably rewrite blake to fit this, though i... dont want to put a weapon in his hands, still.
I did, but I never knew that what attached you to the class was Blake specifically and not just the badassery of havin' a War Carriage. Now that I know that I know what you're going through because I just went through something similar with my old TNW Transporter lol. I still haven't read Blake or any character past anyone's second character so I can't offer concrete advice toward how to spin dis, but it couldn't hurt the explore the idea. It might be helpful to wait until I've actually added Smuggler to the class glossary though.Honestly, im conflicted rn about the transporter thing. I can see where youre coming from and the benefit in making it a class you play yourself. Its logical. And if i hadnt made blake, id agree with you.
But i designed blake to be a noncombatant character. Im attached to him. Any other class could die, and hes the only character of mine that im actually bothered by the thought of dying. Sure, i like the other four, but im actually attached to blake.
But you also made one class thats absolutely irresistible to me. A smuggler? Fuck yeah i want to play that as much as i did somebody who kills manakete to sell their hides. Thats my type of character right there. Being the cause of somebodys addiction sounds amazing.
I dont know. Im sure you expevted this to be hard for me.
Don't worry, so long as you guys remain active no one's getting cut. It's fine if we have over 6 people, so long as errbody's putting in some effort. How you feel about each team eventually being chiseled down to 4-6 dedicated players tops?
I feel where you're coming from with this, I've experienced this myself back when I used to run my own games, I say it's cool, even if i'm the one cut.
