Dice Conversation - Fire Emblem Divide

DoctorDiggles DoctorDiggles theplasticdemon theplasticdemon

Can we specify that all trades have to be finalized before the Commanders enter the fort?

Or in the event of infinitely-spawning monsters, is that wasting too much time?

I feel like there might be some weird issues with that, especially outside the fort, as something similar to what happened to Reva / Dali may occur, where a Unit had to trade an item to an adjacent Unit due to inventory space to pick up the spoils. Since we are taking "not killing each other" on good faith, I take it that we can take "not kill stealing from each other" on good faith as well.

Also I feel like it would be nice if the Alliance specified their looter, since it is clear that Naira, Pandora, Iola, and Fyn will be going into the fort...why not the remaining member? (Edit: Blue beat me to it haha)

Personally I feel no issue with revealing the location of the Trap, and I do not think any other Stoner will either once the truce is finalized. So maybe after the Dice Log on the Gargoyle has been ran? I feel a little nervous about just blurting it out and getting stoned, so I will leave it to theplasticdemon theplasticdemon as our "diplomat" for now. xD

So you're saying that the point about returning weapons is not going to be part of the formal agreement? And you haven't specified who the looters will be. Are they only going to be Fynola, Iona, Pandora, and Naira? Also, if we're going to be disarming everybody who goes inside the castle in the first place, I don't see what difference it makes time-wise for the Commanders to also disarm themselves.

Also, how will disarming work exactly? Since none of us have Transporters yet, we don't have ready storage space. Will the weapons be traded away?
Yes the point about returning weapons is moot if no one else is allowed into the Fort and it seems to make you uneasy so we'll cut that from the agreement. So far we know that Fynola, Iona, and Naira will be looting. Pandora will stay at the entrance of the Fort to provide an emergency heal if necessary so that Whimsey can focus on buffing. We have yet to choose our looter for the Alliance. We have a turn to plan for currently, we will pick one during your turn. We can trade weapons to characters who have the free space yes.

Finalizing trades seems like a given. I was thinking that we leave our Commanders by the throne until each Chest is looted and until all trades are finalized. Perhaps S SirBlazeALot will allow us to trade items after the battle in Negotiations as well if the monsters become a problem.

We will claim kills before we make them and trade where its appropriate. We can also have the treasures go to whoever did the most damage instead of whoever made the kill.

I explained to Blue why we haven't picked our looter yet in a little more detail. May I ask why it matters? They'll be unarmed. Whoever will be of the least use outside fighting will be our looter. I will comb through everyone's stats for that when I'm done planning for our turn.

I can do the dice roll now if you'd like.

Good question. With Treasure Chests, I always put the shit in them before the Chapter starts ya dig? Makes it more fair so that whoever gets to them gets a predetermined item, not whatever I or whoever's GMing feels like giving them :3 I do the same with TNW.

I won't tell you guys exactly what's in them but they're all the same type of item and they're all VERY useful so I'd say they're relatively equal rewards. I'm not sure if you guys will want to trade them but I can see it happening.
Just wanna add some shit here. I don't know if you guys noticed, but I went out of my way to make like a symmetrical map so that no one could bitch about one side having more trees or whatever XD I tried to do the same with the Chests and I'll probably do the same for the next chapter if I can.

Yeah sure :3

If you guys end up winning the chapter as one big team, the plan is to have everyone spend the night in Fort Castellum so negotiations and supports can take place then.

True. I mean, realistically it will take several turns for our Commanders to make it to the thrones (-sighs-) once the loot has been looted, so we should have time to trade during that period as well.

Why it matters? To me, pure curiosity. xD Plus knowing the pieces on the map will help us do our planning, since we begin tacticianing pretty much right after our turn ends.
I mean, I'm not really picky. I just get my kicks playing Devil's Advocate and picking things apart.

Well, you are going to have to do it sooner or later. :3
The majority of our team seems unresponsive atm, however, including Glass, so idk if we can give you an immediate response about the trap in good conscious (if you post today, though, we will do it by the end of the day surely...in fact, I will give you my personal word on that, and face the consequences as is, if it makes ye feel better).

S SirBlazeALot

I did notice the symmetricality of the map and munz. Your hard work does not go unappreciated. ;>

S SirBlazeALot Just brought up a good point that passed me as well. Should we trade our speculation on the monster attacks? I will admit, true to our studious nature, the Legion has started an ongoing investigation into their tactics. I don't know if you foolish hotheads in the Alliance have been on top of that tho. :p

I have also brought this question up in the Legion chat to see what my peeps say.

Ah I see. I was very curious as to why our unarmed unit would be so important. I'll have an answer for you after our turn. My team also seems to be unresponsive and I need them to approve my battle plans. I do plan on posting today however.

Yes we have been studying them and we have come to the definitive conclusion that they wouldn't be here if we had already nuked The Monolith on day one. That much we know.

My Mogall theory is that they like low resistance. I don't know if blue and yellow mogalls behave the same way but it seems likely. Rex had low resistance and Mazelle did too. I think Mauthe Dogs like slow units. I found it strange it would go for Reva when there were much better options for it at the time. I believe Gargoyles like flying units. That also seems like it would make sense given its choice to attack Vlad and a Gargoyle has been hounding Veilvel for quite some time. I don't think that Zombies and Bonewalkers are very picky. But if I had to guess for Bonewalkers I would guess that they like to strip pretty ladies. Or Blaze likes to strip pretty ladies.

hey y'all,

i took a quick 45 minute shower, but i'm back and here to help diggles and anybody else with questions! i know Pretzel Heart Pretzel Heart no need to call my out on how i've been wasting water ;-;

Idk how to feel that you automatically knew I would abuse this opportunity to call you out again.

Mostly just me and Blue shooting the shit at your hard-won handiwork :p
But current concerns are telling the Alliance about the Trap (I promised I would after Sami posts but I also didn't want to go ahead and shoot my mouth off and start a Civil War xD) and then now sharing our notes from Munster Studies 101.

Which it appears Diggles has just extended the olive branch on--!;;

Alright give it up for Diggles for figuring it out. Yes the bone men are using their lances to strip ladies for Freudian symbolism. Good work doctor.

Mauthe Dog 5 was in love with Reva and that's why he went after her. He never wanted to hurt her. Then Ari killed him like a monster and jacked his gem.

Nah I'm fuckin' around. And no I'm not gonna tell you guys if you guess right XD I'm gonna tell you guys after the Chapter and their behavior will change each chapter they show up in.

we're just that close ;)

okay, i wouldn't mind either. i don't want alliance to just randomly step on it and have them think we've gone rogue when it's been there for a while.

order order in the court xD
i'd be cool with legion sharing what we know about monsters. i personally think that mogalls go after noobs, actually. there are lots of units it could have possibly gotten to that have lower resistance. maybe mauthe dogs do prefer lower eva, but perhaps armoured units? i'm guessing bonewalkers are total pervs, but they could also go after sword users and manipulate the weapon triangle. did you see how a couple of turns ago boney whipped out a lance even though he was out of range, only to attack a sword user afterwards?

my theory is that monsters will attack no matter what, while we know they have a certain preference, if there's no one that they prefer to go after present, then they just attack.

ohooooo so much pressure put upon me~~~~~

that's a lie S SirBlazeALot would only use mogalls to strip pretty ladies

I know we haven't had chance to discuss strategy so I may be jumping the gun a bit, but it is in my nature to blurt out nonsense so
Do you think you guys could spare Elta for a turn to let Naira put down both idols more quickly so she can hurry into the safety of the fort?

S SirBlazeALot theplasticdemon theplasticdemon

Yah'll need to stop with the Mogall Town unless you plan on explaining the meme. xD

I'm gonna tell you guys after the Chapter and their behavior will change each chapter they show up in.

.................
I'm starting to believe the rumors
You are a sadistic monster

Reva x Mauthe Dog 5 is for the vanillas
Everyone knows that the one-sided hate-love of Veil x Gargoyle 3 is the true OTP for the edgeshipp3rs of the world-- Just imagine the angst! They have been separated by the very boundaries of fate! In another life, they could have gotten married, it could have been gold--

But jk Revauthe5ever and someone please kill that flying hippie dead

With Mogalls perhaps it was a combination of their low resistance and the noobs being easy targets. If there were multiple people around then it probably chose the weakest which would be any noob.

I also doubt that Mauthe Dogs prefer armored units. That seems pointless on Blaze's part because they can't damage them and that also makes them skewed toward attacking the Legion. We didn't bring an armored unit with us. Another theory I had was concerning movement and not evasion. I can't recall but I believe the Mauthe Dog continued attacking Reva in the presence of a slower unit in regards to evasion. Maybe they like to attack units with low movement.

I did notice the Bonewalkers seem to like lances and attacking sword users. I also noticed that Blaze gave the new Bonewalkers a sword lance and axe only. That feels like a major hint to me. They must be interested in whoever they can trump with the weapon triangle. If they were only interested in swords then Blaze would've only given them lances. Unless the rest of their weapons are red herrings.

And finally yes I agree. I think no matter what a monster will attack anyone they can if their preference isn't near them. We'll have to collect better data before we come to any conclusions but for now I think we at least have some good ideas.

that's fair. to be honest, we were thinking of like luring monsters, but i'm not sure how the logistics of that could work.

but yeah i definitely agree with boneys and winning the weapon triangle and such. i definitely believe it could also be more centered towards movement. have any alliance members with around 5 cells of movement been targeted by mauthe dogs? i don't doubt red herrings though xD

that could make sense on the mogalls. it would be safe either way to keep members of lower resistance away. luckily they're really easy to kill.

as for zombies, legion thinks it could be even stats. like 3/3/3 for most stats. at least... that was what we could find based on what the two targets (naira and melnax) had in common. it was just so odd considering they had almost nothing in common except for that factor.

Pretzel Heart Pretzel Heart

Later tonight this will happen.

Sami Vs. Gargoyle (3)
Longbow Vs. Cupid's Bow

Accuracy: 100
Critical: 25
Number of Attacks: 2
Damage Per Hit: 85

Gargoyle (3)'s Remaining Health: -110

Aren't you glad we're teaming up? Anyway I must go. I have diggling to do. I hope someone calls me senpai when I return.

Quick response to your question because I have to diggle soon. We killed our Mauthe Dog the first time before it could move and the new one hasn't been able to attack anyone else yet. And yes that 3/3/3 thing is very odd. I didn't connect the two at all.

god that amount of damage is hot.

Love you too angel chan. Goodbye.

ohoho the first time i'll ever be referred to as a senpai.

Don't get ahead of yourself, I said Angeru-Sensei, not senpai.
You can never be my senpai. The character "sen" means "come before" :lenny:

Well...I guess you could be my TNW-Senpai, but I would never admit defeat to a Fire Emblem nub who can't even playing Fateswakening. :p
Please play Fire Emblem

If you save VeruVeru-Chan, you will be Mai Hiiro, Lorudo Diggaru-Sama
