Dice Conversation - Fire Emblem Divide

It's great to see a FE RP here, shame I didn't see it sooner. The lore and mechanics seem pretty interesting, but I still have a couple of things left to read. I don't know if I want to try joining since my inspiration's been pretty low lately, but I'll be watching the threads for sure.

But regardless, I was wondering about the maps you're going to use. I like making GBA FE maps, so I thought I could maybe contribute to the RP with a map or two if that sounds interesting to you. You might have all the maps already made too, but I figured it was worth asking anyway.

We would love to have you in the RP! Don't let the long rules list scare you away. The RP's mechanics are actually very easy to understand.

We need some new members in the Alliance of Fire. We need dedicated RPers though, people who will stay with us in the long run and not leave.

If you feel like you fit that bill, please come join right in!

Pretzel Heart Pretzel Heart Ehh, eh alright yeah you're right we'll let it go for now. Normally healers heal or use offensive staves for their assists but since Veil's at full health and Naira isn't equipped with an offensive staff there's no reason to roll the die. Just make sure you do it next time to get in the habit of rolling for your partners :3

Also, if you have a file on Veil double check it and make sure you put in the appropriate weapon rank. I'm reading 65 damage with a D-Rank weapon and 60 without.

You're right, it should have been 65. I might have just typed it wrong (I forgot that through Wineskin the shortcut keys are different so I copied it by hand but now I got it) since the save file is accurate.

And alright, good to know about healers and staves, and I'll remember for next time. :3
Does it matter which one is equipped (like if Heal is equipped but the Partner is at full health could the healer use Love?)
Or does the player have some choice?

They gotta use whatever they're equipped with in that instant. You guys can equip weapons without ending the turn though.
 
CallmeMyth CallmeMyth Thanks. The characters and mechanics are interesting and I've been wanting to try a dice RP since I've never been in one before, plus it's FE. But the issue is that I'd rather not join when I haven't been in an inspired mood to write. Not only would that not be fun for people involved in the RP, but also could end up with me deciding to leave partway through it, so I think it's best to stay as a reader for now. If I do feel like I got out of this slump though, I'll definitely consider joining. In the meantime, I hope new people join.

I don't want to keep posting here when I'm not even part of the RP, so S SirBlazeALot or others who are running it, feel free to PM me about maps, I have a few examples if you want to see them too.

I understand how you feel. I've been in that mood before where I had 0 desire to write. I have to respect you for deciding to stay out of the RP if your muse is gone. But I sincerely hope you get it back. I know how not fun it can be to lose your inspiration to write.

This is a really fun RP, and I hope by reading it you'll get a spark of creativity back, again.

Edit: I'm completely joking, thanks for the invite and everything! I'll finish reading everything and probably re-reading it to try and understand it better! I hope I'll be able to roleplay with you all at some point :D
