There was a time when there were less than 20,000 role-players... I mean, back in the 1970's when there was no such thing as MMORPGs, anime, etc. Just a bunch of nerdy, creative people around a table with dice and books and pens and paper (not even computers; not yet!).


Back then, these people were often frowned upon and ridiculed since they were outside of a social norm.


And look at us all now... =)
