Ghostly Presence
Aveline stayed silent for the conversation between Rena and the Sergeant. Rena seemed very interested in asking every possible question she could about the rhino's that stood in the way of their mission. She was very inquisitive. Aveline supposed that was good, it would suck to have to face the things with no knowledge. From what she gathered, it seemed the only way to effectively kill the beasts was a strike under their heads. Aveline couldn't imagine her Ern would be much help in this situation as they would be far to large for her to kill with it. She might be able to temporarily slow them, but to try beyond that would exhaust her. They'd either have to get close to the things or place a very well timed distance shot under their heads. A gun might be helpful if they aim well. Aveline had never been one for distance attacks but she could sure as hell try. The last thing she wanted to do was try to get close and get trampled. She gazed up at the machine gun that Alkaia had gestured too, yes, it might be smart to bring one. Aveline hadn't touched her food. She was too busy going over scenarios in her head to worry about eating. She was also too lost to notice the soldiers staring at them. She probably looked ridiculous, staring at a wall, not moving, eyes clouded over. Aveline shook her thoughts away when Telorin mentioned that they should find a more private place to eat. Aveline would much prefer that, actually. She'd never liked eating around too many people anyway, left over fear of people stealing her food she supposed.
"They might not want to see mine anyway." Aveline spoke for the first time as she rose from the table, "There's nothing in here to kill but them." She chuckled lightly before nodding her head and moving to leave and find her own quarters. After spending five hours on a ship with Rena and the rest, she could use time to herself.
