I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, especially if he's a wandering mage. It could make for some juicy stories. Just with the understanding that he's not gonna be super welcome if he's practicing in the open.
 
Keep in mind the induestrial kingdom will eradicate them if they can, plus they're a general distrust of magic over the years. Science over magic.

Air swimming: Using his magical abilities he can alter his speed in air. Floating slowly through the air then quickly plunging to the ground at a whim. He cannot suspend him self indefinitely, but he can greatly slow him self-allowing him to glide through the air for long periods of time without wind.
Voice mimics: His people have always had the ability to perfectly mimic voices that they have heard. Though it's original purpose was to lure in prey he uses it for jokes.
Throw voice: He can throw his voice using his powers to make it seem as if the voice had come from else where.
Telepathy: The normal way his people communicate is with images into one another's heads, hence his true name.
Contortionist: He doesn't actually have any bones his body is entirely muscles which, if it weren't for his people air swimming ability would make standing on land a workout. Because his body is completely muscle he can bend in ways no human could naturally and force parts of his body other humans can barely move to roll and contort in strange fashions.
Water sight: His body can produce a dim green light which is naturally used by his species to see deep under water where no light naturally occurs. Be cause of this he can see great distances with only extremely dim lighting.
Weapons:
throwing daggers: both in melee and at a range Fredrick is an adept fighter with his seemingly endless amount of throwing daggers that line the inside of clothes. They are placed in such a way that his strange contortionist abilities are able to belch them forth from his sleeves, or near his neck.
Bio: He was born within the darkness of the deep when he first saw the light he was thirteen and it was as beautiful as it was blinding. in comparison to the dim lights they used. He became enthralled by it and said one day he would return, ten years later he did. It's odd for his species to be out of the water they normally keep to them selves staying in huge cities with dark trenches of the ocean. He however loves the surface, the smells, the sounds, the lights they are all perfect to him, within their cities sound is limited and verbal communication is even frowned upon as they prefer the telepathic bonds. He found life easy for him as he could live his life as an entertainer his bizarre body allowing him to make easy money, it also allowed him to travel and see much of the water kingdom. All good things come to an end though as people stopped showing up to his shows, in fact, people became a rarity, it wasn't till after it had started that he learned that war had been declared.
He signed up quickly, he wanted to protect the land he had become so fond of by this time he was 42 and had no trouble finding a place in the military. He due to his peoples mimicking skills was to become an Attentäter or in the common tongue an assassin. He was told to kill coast guards, tricking them into coming close to the water then stabbing them and dragging their bodies into the deep. The only problem was he was killing around places they didn't think they were coming from, preparing for surprise attacks and such, this meant the areas weren't evacuated and children would still play in those secret rocky coves and such. His orders were clear though, clear the landing area no exceptions, he tried to make it quick that more than anything is why he became as effective with knives as he is now but near the beginning, he was still learning. Their cries haunt him, their torn up faces contorted in fear haunt him, and when he dragged them to the bottom so no one would find their bodies their hollow eyes haunted him.
The war ended eventually, by the time it was finished he was an expert with a dagger he could drop low flying birds dead with a throw. He didn't take much pride in the fact though, The only thing that made him happy was the fact he was going home and that he could go back to the way things were. Yet again he was wrong, the circus he had been a part of was disbanded too many men who had been in it had died in the war and it had gone bankrupt. Something deep within him snapped when he heard that like some glass bottle that had held all the tears in had been shattered. He not only a grown man but a trained killer wept openly, many people did but he likes to think he wept the loudest for his sadness was immeasurable. When he finally had the strength to stand again he made one pledge, Never again, no more would children suffer for some random cause they know nothing about no more would the youth pay for what men did. He adorned a harlequin outfit and became a street performer, and learned to play the accordion so he could always be out on the street. With blades hidden on his person and no mercy left to give, God help you if you harm a child in his presence because he will come for you.

Name: Morrigan. Although she has been countless names during her long life, she can no longer remember her original name. Morrigan is simply the name of one of her eaten souls that she remembers the most.

Powers:
Devour - Simply put, Devour is the spiritual act of devouring the soul of a victim. Once a soul has been devoured, the victim becomes a lifeless husk with no hope of recovery. Devour is not considered to be magical, as it effects beings on a spiritual level beyond the normal plain of existence. It is nearly impossible to block against, but Morrigan prefers to only use it when necessary, as it consumes much of her energy and too much usage in a single area can cause suspicion.

Hibernate -
Once a soul has been devoured, it is placed into a pocket dimension within Morrigan's soul, until she is ready to use it. Morrigan has the ability to hibernate a digested soul, as long as the soul has not suffered too much physical damage.

Digestion -
Digestion is the physical act of consuming the essence of a soul. By digesting a soul, Morrigan is able to take on the appearance, personality, abilities, and memories of the soul. The digestive process is so absolute that it is impossible to tell that the doppelganger is a copy. Her technique has become so refined that not even magical tests can detect her presence. If the victim has magical abilities, Morrigan can consume more of the soul to use them, although continued use will cause the soul to prematurely burn out.

Regurgitation -
If her identity within a soul becomes compromised, Morrigan will overload the soul and eject it from her body, causing a blinding flash and explosion to cover her escape by digesting another stored soul. The act of regurgitation will often leave Morrigan weak and helpless, requiring that she rest for several days before regaining the ability to use any of her powers. She is most vulnerable at this time, as her connection with her current soul is at it's weakest during this period.


Weapon: She only carries a weapon if it makes sense that her current soul carries ones. Morrigan detests physical altercations, choosing to consume souls as her attack of choice.

Bio: Morrigan has lived a very long life, and in that life she has played a part in many of the major conflicts in each kingdom. Most recently, she is said to have fought on every side of the war between the 4 kingdoms, provoking some of the issues that sparked certain major conflicts. Morrigan shares no true allegiance, she is a demon of chaos, causing problems wherever she goes. Her acts of chaos can range from general mischief, to horrendous acts of sabotage, effecting millions of people. Most recently, Morrigan devoured the soul of a high ranking noble within the Industrial Kingdom, who was fighting for worker rights and general quality of life improvements for the lower class. She single-handedly used the woman's reputation to undo much of the good that had been fought for the people, instead pushing through such horrible acts as the use of child labor in dangerous work environments, and deregulating the laws against orphans, such as the purchase of orphans for the sole purpose of being used as labor. Morrigan has lived long enough to know that a large event is coming, and she plans to be in the center of it.

While it is impossible to tell who Morrigan has replaced, she definitely has a personal preference of souls. She prefers the souls of women, as she has noted that a man's soul has a terrible taste.

The son of nomads, Orville was frequently moving between lands when his parents decided that the lands resources had been tapped and it was time to go to another. Orville lived this life of constant moving until the day he turned eighteen when his parents gave him the choice to brace the nomadic lifestyle or settle down without them. Orville made the tough choice of settling and settled in a small village outside the Guilded Continent. It was here that Orville made his living as a scholar until one year ago. While exploring some ancient runes, deep into the caverns in a small torch lit room lied a simple brown, leather bound book sitting in a glass display case that seemed untouched by both human and nature. Engraved onto the front of the book was simply a name, 'Percival'. Letting his curiosity get the better of him, Orville opened the glass case and reached for the book, but the book came to him. Percival floated and flew around a frightened Orville before stopping floating at Orville's side. Panicked, Orville ran from the runes, however the book followed him all the way home. More than confused at the book that was seemingly bound to him now, Orville searched for answers and found none. This was a form of magic he had never seen before. The book seemingly had a mind of its own, more specifically the mind of a small child. Percival, or Percy as Orville calls it, can write in itself without the need of a pen, the ink simply forms on the page. Percy frequently draws pictures of its surroundings and even fears strangers. Orville believes that there is something truly magical about the book, so he retook his nomadic lifestyle and began the quest to discover the secrets of Percival, a quest that has now led him to the Guilded Continent.

Orville is a friendly, easy going man who enjoys adventure and excitement of the safe variety. However in the face of danger Orville and Percival make quite the team. Orville taught himself the basics of dueling with a sword to protect himself from those who wish him harm. Upon arriving in the Guilded Continent Orville noted to never go to the Dark Realm, the name itself striking fear into his heart. Orville can be found most nights trying to gain access to either the Water Kingdom or Fire Kingdom, as he also shies away from the Industrial Empire due to not knowing how they would react to the magic book. Most nights Orville can be found camped right outside civilization, making sure not to stray too far and risk getting attacked by criminals or wild beasts.

A fine adventurer! Perhaps he shall wonder the fire nation relm as it is the largest and can offer the most adventure! But how to gain the access? Perhaps confront the prince, or try and sneak past the guards, or ask the people who think they are to great to do certain things

Grenades: The dwarves of the Fireforge clan are famous for using explosives and Furin is no exception. He wears a grenade belt which holds up to five grenades, he also keeps extras in his traveling pack on his boar.

Racial abilities:

Longevity: Dwarfs live for a minimum of 500 of years but can live past that up to millennia but it's normal to die shortly after they reach that age.


Dark sight: Dwarves can naturally see in the dark.


Strength and constitution: Dwarves are known for being considerably stronger than humans being able to lift about as much as the world's strongest human naturally without training. That isn’t to mention Furin is on the stronger side of dwarves meaning he can crush skulls with his bare hands. He is also very constitutional as are most dwarves meaning he can actually survive longer without food and consume more poisonous or harmful things to one's health with less effect on his body.


Magic resistance: even without the armors magic immunity dwarves are naturally resistant to magic. This also means dwarves even if they wanted to would have a particularly hard time using any form of magic.


Bio: Furin Fireforge ,brother of Rook Fireforge was born in the old mountain fort of their homeland. He can barely remember the old land, as he was extremely young for a dwarf, But even so, he will rush to the defense of its pride. He will do that with most things, one could say he is actively searching for an excuse to fight people. For most people, such violent tendencies would end poorly, But they are not Furin Fireforge leader of the long beards of the dwarves of steel fort.

Furin has always been perhaps one of the best fighters in the Fireforge clan even beating his brother in martial combat. This has earned him much esteem amongst the dwarves of his clan, this, however, was at the suffering of other skills dwarves would see as vital. Such as basic political ability, like knowing insulting the prince is a bad idea. He has never done so but would without question if he perceived one of his actions to be stupid.

This has lead to his brother keeping him close most of the time, not trusting him not to say something extremely stupid. He, while not too careful in the court, is a veteran warrior and a grand strategist, calling the loyalty and respect of all warriors below him. He is also an extremely loyal to his brother, preferring the word of another dwarf over a humans. When it comes down to it he seeks to protect the Fireforge clan if all others die in that so be it.

Male sirens are able to make females feel the need to come towards them and to be near them. This power has to do more with the aura that the siren gives off rather than actually controlling and using the power with this intention in mind.

Tactile Hypnosis

Sirens can make humans fall under their "spell" by making skin-to-skin contact with them. This makes them do whatever the Siren says without question or hesitancy. Unlike persuasion, this power doesn’t allow the victim to be conscious while under the “spell” and causes them to fall into a trance-like state.

Water Wall Generation
The ability to create, summon, or generate walls by using water. However, Blake can only summon walls if there is water in the vicinity, whether it be from a pond, wells, the ocean, or pulling water from plants which inevitably kills them. The more water there is, the stronger and larger the wall becomes but if water is scarce, the weaker and smaller the wall is.

The usual siren spiel; underwater breathing, underwater sight, increase swimming speed, tail and scale growth.

Weapon:
Spear Summoning
Drawing a small amount of blood from his palm, Blake is able to summon a spear from the palm of his hand. When cut by the blade, the wound feels like hot lava is spewing out from the lesion.


BIO
Blakely appeared in the castle starting as a butler, learning all the basics and requirements that any butler is taught before starting(cleaning, maintenance, dressing, serving, and some bit more). Anything from before his appearance in the castle is rather unknown, from his birthplace to how he got his role in the castle, complete zero knowledge. Somehow he became a guard not that much sooner after being only a butler for a few months, perhaps due to the fact that he kept flirting with the other maids whenever he was given the chance. As a guard, at least he couldn’t disrupt the work and training of the other guards.

Blake is a flirt whether or not he tries to be, women often seeming to be drawn to him but he doesn’t seem to mind the attention. When given attention, he gives it back, which he calls due to his ‘generous’ and ‘ noble’ nature. The princess, being his best friend, often enjoys teasing her and testing how flirty he can get with her before she abuses him for his antics. Although he doesn’t mind the assault, since he kind of asks for it by doing what he does, I guess you can say he’s quite a masochist when it comes to Kai being the abuser.

Unlike his younger twin sister, Brooklyn, Blake embraces his siren luring aura and uses it to his advantage to sweep women off their feet. People don't often see the twins as siren since it isn’t well known knowledge they flaunt around but human isn’t what most people feel when meeting them.

While Blake is no master swordsman, he is more than just proficient in combat and rather cruel when it comes down to defending his priorities(Kai and Brook) and his own pride of course. He doesn’t hesitate to cut down a man or an army in order to get what he wants.

A foolish over protective older brother Blake is. Brook is his only blood related family that he recognizes so while he does flirt with other women and seem like an insensitive prick at times, he adores his sister more than anything. The princess, Kai, is also another person that he holds dear enough to protect her with his life.

Sirens have a voice that is irresistible and are able to vocally command those to do anything against their will. While vocally speaking has a strong hold on the person(s), singing is also another version of using this power and has a stronger effect.


Water Negation
The ability to negate water/liquid currents. Rather than being able to draw water and control it, Brook is able to dodge water by negating it which includes water/ water currents, water attacks or, in a rare occasion, creating a small bubble of air under the sea.

Brook is able to grow her nails out into 3 1/2 inch, dark claw-like talons which are laced with a life-threatening poison which kills within hours if not treated. The poison causes the body to become weak, the wound becoming painful like tiny needles continuously stabbing into the skin and slowly rotting the body from the wound(s).


BIO
Brook is born a mystery, quite literally seeming to have appeared out of thin air yet somehow managing to become a handmaid to one of the most influential and powerful people in the Water Domain, the Water Princess. It is said that Brook used to be one of the deceased princess’ handmaids that was reassigned to the younger princess not soon after the passing but nothing can be set in stone with her. When asked where she came from or of her past, she brushes off the question by changing the subject or gives very vague descriptions. She is more of a listener then someone who actively talks about themselves.

Brook appears to have a calm demeanor, numerous people having mixed feelings for the young siren, either calling her graceful and soft spoken or cold and erry. It's not a widely known fact that she is a siren however, but it's quite obvious that she isn’t human because there is something inhuman or off about her.

For the things that are known about Brook, despite not showing very much emotion other than calm, she is trained in the basics of combat but only enough to get herself out of trouble or to stall for a short amount of time, no where near proficient like her brother but they spar from time to time. Basic first aid is another training that is required of a maid as well as cooking, cleaning, serving, sewing, dressing the royal family, and some. She is also the younger twin, her elder brother being Blakely who is a guard and best friends with the princess.

She is rather peculiar about dirty or out of order things such as messy hair or flowers not arranged in a certain order, one of her pet peeves.

When in public and in her uniform, Brook keeps her composure so not to bring any type of disgrace to the royal family yet when she is alone with her brother or someone who she considers close enough, she is rather like a child herself who laughs without restrain and enjoys teasing when the occasion arises. Whenever Blake steps out of line like flirting with the maids or even the princess, Brook keeps her calm appearance yet somehow discreetly inflicting pain onto him to keep him in line.

Name: Casandra Fiddlesticks, Gnomes names incorporate every name they have ever been called by their family. Every member of a gnomish feels the need to have its own unique nickname for everyone in their family which must be completely different from every name given to them by everyone else in the family. Meaning a gnomish name is normally a couple paragraphs long, which has, funnily enough, worked well for them in situations a name is required for a curse. She likes to go by cuttlefish it was the name she got from her great grand father, he invented the fire trimmer.
Age: 235 gnomes live for about as long as dwarves being 500+ years they, however, reach Gnomish maturity about the same age as humans. That is Gnomish maturity, of course, Gnomes are silly throughout life so most children are considered mature pretty quickly that age is just for physical maturity.

Powers: She and the rest of the gnomish species have two definable traits one a resistance to magic attacks and skill with magicand machines
Magic resistance: Gnomes can resist magic, there are a lot of theories why especially amongst the gnomes. Most gnomes believe this is due to failed experiments and their neverfailing ability to explode in their faces.
Machines and magic: Gnomes are extremely curious this is well complemented by their intelligence. They as a species are obsessed with new things, making, finding, etc this has driven their species to be some of the bravest minds that have ever stood on this earth. They normally can identify tech and magic by sight due to their need to constantly study.
Weapons:
The Cuddler: the long rifle has a max range of 900 meters when shooting its heavy magical arrow. The large magical arrow is powered on her own mana meaning shooting it is like firing off a spell. The large bolt can rip through most zeppelins hulls meaning it packs a mean punch. It has two barrels the second firing off... well fire, Sticky fire, of course, she would never be so unoriginal as to use just fire.
Bio: When she was a young woman she spent her time inventing weapons, not an unusual thing for a child of 9 to be doing amongst thegnomes. She wasn't successful mind you, they were child's creations little art projects andsuch. Unlike human children, she never lost her passion for it and kept inventing getting better and better at it tell she was creating her ownrifle.
She 22 and idealistic went out into the world weapon in hand and her head filled withinventions. She was quickly proven wrong about the world when she was gone her people were banished from the industrial kingdomdespite their long history of inventing for it. She has developed at .....Nope, she still can't hate the industrial empire, Her people are far too friendly to hold a grudge over almost anything. either way, she quickly got her people resettled about a hundred years ago with the grandfather of the current king of the dark kingdom. She was even able to steal some of the better land, good farming, and right next to the fire kingdom.
The slaughter was terrible, gnomes never experienced such a horrifying event before. If it hadn't been for their inventiveness the firenations first invasion would have been much worst. They don't hold a grudge against them the slaughter was pretty bad on both sides. The laborers they use in the field are mostly made of steel and use heavy metal tools. The defended their masters and lead to the creation of their new brethren, the war forged. Large automatic machines, a little simple like their labor made brothers but they have some functions already inside them. Protect gnomes, kill the aggressor, but like most automatic machines they need a command, kind of defeating the point but still. Anything outside of killing needs a command but that makes them loyal at least.
She remains a loyal member of the dark empire, they saved her people and she will not stop till she has repaid them. She is clever and due to a youth of adventure battle ready, other than that she's down right friendly and happy if not extremely pushy about meeting new people.

Bio:

Leona grew up in the ice kingdom which is the lower branch kingdom to the water kingdom. she wed the water King and had two children a water princess and a prince. she never fell deep in love with the king she was more or less betrothed to him. she felt she was only wed to the water king because of her fair beauty.

As a young girl her ice kingdom's riches were stolen by fire bandits. Her parents had to betroth her off for riches to keep the ice kingdom standing. She felt horrible her parents sold her off to a higher royal but she knew it was to help her kingdom. She promised when she got a daughter she would make sure she would have love not betrothal.
