Commander's Historical RP Hunt!<Updated:The Wild West>

Greetings and Bienvenue! It has been a long while since I embarked on a hunt for OnexOne Partners, but I am ready to rejoin the fray! I am looking to RP in a variety of historical settings, these can be romantic, platonic, antagonistic, or anything in between, I have no requirements on the relationship of our characters, though if we do romance I prefer to do MxF, myself being male. These characters are also allowed to break the historical rules and traditions of the time for the sake of their own existence, i.e. if it's the Sengoku Jidai and you want to be a female samurai, or if it's the Middle Ages and you want to be a female knight, or if it's really any time in the past and you're a woman and you want to do anything. History is like that sometimes. I will rattle off the various times I'm interested in roleplaying and the various options for plots for them in chronological order. If you don't see a pair or character type you'd like to see, just tell me and I'll tell you if I'm interested.

I actually have an idea you may be interested in as I recently watched a documentary on Shanghai's that took place in Portland in the 1800s I believe? If it sounds like something that you'd be interested in let me know.


Basically the characters would've gotten drugged and put over a trap door in a saloon...from there they'd have been possibly beaten, thir shoes taken and imprisoned until they were brought to the ships they'd work on.


They apparently took the shoes because they spread glass through the tunnels so you couldn't go far...or they'd track you.

@RosefromtheRiver You and those Jacobite revolts, every time I see you on this site it's talking about that rebellion. Did you read a book, or rather several, on it? You seem rather entranced by the whole event. Anyways, I'd like to try something Piratey or Civil War Based.

I used to roll with a historical pirate reenactment crew called the Puget Sound Pirates, and we would roam around the area with our pavilion and teach people the tools and some of the practices of the trade. I spent many's the hour in a book on the time as well. Basically, I actually know my stuff for the genre so whenever I get a chance to play with it I am more than happy to.
