Floating Somewhere in Time or Space
(Looking for a male to play a robot character c: this will be in pm either pm me or comment and I will pm you . Thank you!)

Jessie, a young lady with lovely brownish red hair, fair skin dotted in light freckles, green eyes, and a happy smile on her pink lips walked into the basement like mechanics room. She was the only one in the small place with all of the bugs and bolt and oil except for a standing robot. It was a tall thing and Jessie smiled when they saw it. "Hey buddy," she spoke, taking one last sip of her coke from lunch before throwing it out. "You're in pretty... Rough shape... Aren't you?" She smiled, drying her hands off before standing before it, her hands on her hips. Definitely a male robot. "No bother, we'll have you going in no time!" She told it excitedly. "Exciting, huh?" She grinned as she grabbed her tablet, taking a full picture of him before opening up a file, typing in his faded cereal number and then getting to work, replacing each screw and bolt carefully to start so all of his joints could move a little easier. "You know, until I put your new chip in I don't know if you can hear me or whatever but I think I'll talk anyway..." She laughed. "So sorry if you get tired of it." She warned gently, her eyes focused on her work.

Jessie spent a lot of time talking about the people who worked upstairs. "Yeah, they're all really smart." She would say. "They know a whole lot about computers." She explained happily. Jessie didn't know much about that stuff, just the mechanics. Part way through her laughing and talking she heard the tablet ding. "Oh- a message!" She said excitedly, grabbing the tablet and looking at it. Her tense shoulders seemed to relax a little. "Keep it quiet down there..." She read before laughing weakly and shrugging. "I uh- I forgot they were having a meeting." She said softly. "I wasn't invited, of course id look pretty stupid up there with all of them... After all the smartest thing I ever get to talk to are..." She trailed off and looked at him smiling. "Never mind that. Now we're getting to the fun part." She told the robot, opening up his forehead, starting to work on his "brain".

"This will only hurt a little- I mean, if you could feel it." She paused a moment before shaking her head. "That isn't to say robots don't have feelings, oh I know you do don't worry." She paused in her work to smile at him, still unsure if the robot was aware of anything. "Don't let anyone tell you you don't have feelings or emotions or whatever, that's not true." She told him before going back to what she was doing. "I'm Making a mess of you. I'll give you a new coat of paint before I send you back up, I promise."

After a few hours Jessie was finishing up. "Oh, so I was home alone Friday night again and I started watching this new show about a-" she was cut off as she heard laughing and talking upstairs. "They're probably finishing up their meeting..." She said softly, finishing up her coat of paint before inserting a chip, bringing the old now restored robot "to life", unaware it had been watching and listening to her repair him.

"Don't be afraid," she told him gently, holding a small hand out. "I'm Jessie, your name is [your character's name], and you're safe here." She whispered, grinning from ear to ear.
