More or less inspired by the similar RP Ashes of Creation. In this RP, you assume control of your own spacefaring race, be it humanoid, anthropoid, crustacean, or even fungal. The story is that four different races travel to an unoccupied planet somewhere in the Milky Way Galaxy using whatever FTL drives they utilise, intent on colonising it due to its abundant resources and precious minerals. Of course, the races happen to warp in at the same time. It is your goal to work out diplomatic solutions with these races. Will your race make peace with the others? Or will it destroy them, and declare war? The choice is yours.

Just one other question. Will the combat in space mostly, but also on ground, be more star trek like, or star wars like? Like, will the ships line up and fire at each other from a distance like in star wars, or will they move in and engage in large space dogfights like in star trek?

  • Name: The Trakus Imperium


    Type of Government: Feudal Monarchy


    Headquarters: Mobile City Ship Everborn


    Military: The Imperium military is divided into two divisions, the Ground and Space Legions. The ground forces rely on tactics of cold and brutal advance, once they have begun their attack, they will not stop until they or their enemy are dead. The Space forces rely on overwhelming firepower from their battleships to destroy enemy fleets from a distance, while fighters are deployed to defend them from similar craft.


    History: The Imperium of Trakus was founded hundreds of years ago following the War in the Heavens. From the ashes of that loss, the first Emperor of Traks united his scattered race, and led them in a new war against those who had oppressed them. Following the victory, the Imperium went on to become a galactic conqueror, with hundreds of worlds falling before the Trakus legions. Most races know what Trakus warships look like, and are right to fear them.

  • Name: The Imperium of Man


    Type of Government:Despotism


    Headquarters:New Holy Terra


    Military:

    The military consist of three branches which are the Imperial Guard, the Imperial Fleet, and the Holy chapters. The Imperial Guardsman are the shield of the Emperor, the backbone of the army. Anybody that can carry a gun and chainsword are fit to fight, and are assigned to certain regiments which usually are from their own home worlds. Each regiment have its strengths and weaknesses and are more suitable to terrains that they have fought in.They prefer to fight in large scale combat and to overwhelm the enemy with sheer firepower and numbers. There are some regiments that think smart with what is at their disposal, while others think with there gun. The Imperial fleet is of course the hammer of the Emperor, these ships are what keeps the Imperium (or used to) in check. Without the fleet of course dissray and chaos would spread like wildfire and nothing would be accomplished. These ships can ram into enemy ships like a battering ram and are known to destroy nearly any ship on impact. The last branch is of course the Holy chapters, this branch consist of the highly advanced super soldiers that are genetically modified to accomplish the impossible. Given the most advance technology, armor, and weaponries. They are known to take over planets with only a few hundred, fought hordes of enemies and monsters that no one can imagine. These men are treated like demigods/high lords and have saved their races from extinction many times. However there are more then twenty chapters and each one have their own differences and own code that does not defy of course the Emperor or really the Imperium. Originally most of these chapters were split in different sides and and joined chaos or make their own factions. However a certain event happened that caused the chapters to unite once again serving their Emperor, however this came with a heavy cost that would take many years to recover.


    (I will add more stuff into this part but of course I just summed it in a summary)


    History:






    The Imperium of Man was once known to be a mighty empire, ruled by the God Emperor, conquered most of their galaxy, and accomplishing the Impossible. Many events tho lead to the near downfall of the Imperium such as the Emperor nearly dying, the Horus Heresy, Age of apostasy, Tyranids, chaos, and alot of other stuff. The Imperium was fighting at all sides and at one point the lines started to collapse. Hundreds of planets were falling to other factions and the Imperium was predicted to fall within 30 years. All seemed lost as man fought with sheer will and strength to keep what they have. Then in the year 40,999, Lemus Russ the Primarch of the Space wolf Chapter had returned from the Eye of Terror and retrieved something that would revive the Emperor. It had worked and all those who were still loyal quickly traveled to the Holy Terra to watch the reawakening of their father. When the Emperor had shown himself, his face showed only fear and rage. The primarchs were confused and of course he gave out about a small taste of his dissatisfaction of how his empire was runned while he was on the golden throne fighting chaos in the back of his mind. After that short outburst the Emperor quickly ordered his sons to assemble whatever space marines they had, for they had another crusade. A crusade for the retrieval of his traitorous sons. However he needed to bring them back one way or another within a year. He did not explain why he needed them this quickly but it had to be done and they did not have much time. Somehow the ten primarchs that had turned traitorous had all been lured in to a dessert planet, where the Emperor himself showed himself. The Primarchs at first were appalled that their father was alive, but at the same time they were also angry and filled with bloodlust to kill him on the spot. They all attempted to but the Emperor easily overcome them and he reasoned and pursued them that they could either join him or stay in this doomed to be galaxy that they lived in. This was when the Emperor had found out that the galaxy was about to be hit with something worse, something worse then the birth of the Eye of Terror. This was something that would wipe out all life within this galaxy. After questions being asked by the traitorous primarchs and being answered by the Emperor in which he answered with the answers they wanted. He finally managed to unify the chapters once more, tho some would need to be cleansed from all that chaos that have tainted them, some however were sane enough. Afterwards the Emperor demanded that all remaining chapters, Imperial guardsman, Imperial ships, to prepare a long journey. This was done and everything left behind would be lost, but the Emperor of course had all the lost technology and could easily remake them if given the resources. By the end of the year, more then 10 trillion people left the galaxy, while the rest perished. 15 years pass by and nothing to be seen, until they finally find themselves on another galaxy and another place to rebuild what they had lost. All those within this galaxy will know the name of the Emperor. The Imperium has only settled in this new galaxy for at least twenty years.
