Hello!
I’m Ri, I’m 22.
Generally I write 4-10 paragraphs per response and expect the same effort in return. I prefer my rp partner for this to be 18+, simply for my own comfort. I’m a queer trans man, and head cannons like those are fine with me, and even encouraged.
Characters I’m looking for:
Chuuya
Kunikida
Odasaku
Ranpo
Anyone who could live with Dazai.
In this au, these two share a dorm in College. Dazai is a third year medical student, with a focus in pathology, who’s going to become a medical examiner.
Dazai is 22, trans and the fun part of this au- has a chronic illness. I don’t want to reveal too much, as I think being in the dark along with your character can be fun.
At the grand age of 25 moving into college dorms for the first time wasn’t exactly what most people his age celebrated. Time and time again his life had been rearranged to suit needs of those around him, and the things he needed rather than wanted. For years now, he had been forced to take online courses rather than attending lectures in person, though that hadn’t changed much. He’d liked to believe that something like this wasn’t unusual, though he knew much to the contrary. First year dorms were a mix of ages, so he could only hope that his roommate was someone he could tolerate for the months to come.
Osamu Dazai had been a student here for years, though online. The distance had never been an issue, even with the lack of meeting people. Though, he was standing at the door to his dorm… it was different. From a certain standpoint it was odd to be moving in now, but what was the fun in that? He had always been a little bit off- the bandages layering his body were a testament to that.
Excitement thrummed in his veins, opening the door to his new living space. Months had passed for this moment to happen, to see the dinky little dorm room he finally had the privilege of calling his own. Convincing his uncle had taken quite the amount of begging, the doctor was hesitant to let him out of a space where he could get immediate help. Finally he could be on his own, like an actual adult! Not that he felt like an adult, it had all been washed away and shoved aside for the various things he needed, but now he could be free.
The room was small, as to be expected, two twin sized beds were shoved in either side of a room, bare and awaiting any decorations. The bed frames were certainly older, but still sturdy… if not a little squeaky (every time Osamu bounced on it, the springs creaked). That was fine! He could work with this, even if it wasn’t the most… private. Dazai ran his hands through his hair, looking out over the room, and the tiny space he could really decorate. Each bed had a night stand, and a space underneath it for small storage. The closets were placed side by side, with a thin wall separating each side.
Humming a small tune, Dazai rolled up his sleeves, the bandages wrapped like a second skin never coming loose. Opening the suitcase he had dragged along, he started to place little things across his space. Among things he put away were small medicine bottles that got hidden away in the drawer of the stand beside the bed. Things he hated seeing, yet unfortunately they were part of his daily life until he died (how soon would it be? Certainly soon, he hoped, but the medicine was needed. He hated being off it more than he hated taking it).
Before his new roommate had even managed to arrive, Dazai had put away some of his clothes, and left his sheets in a pile on the bed. Fitted sheets should he considered a torture method, honestly, how did anyone put them on? For the record, he was not going to look like a fool while fighting the things (he had already gotten tangled in them once, and no one would ever know), he refused. Sighing, he sprawled himself out on the thinly carpeted floor, staring at the ceiling for a break.
