Some of you may remember an older show named Code Lyoko. If you, well, I don't think I need to explain anything to you. For everyone else, the basic premise is as follows: There is a supercomputer located beneath an abandoned factory. This supercomputer contains a virtual world names Lyoko. Via scanners on the second level, people can be virtualized and appear on Lyoko. This is important because there is a girl trapped in Lyoko who cannot defend herself from the monsters and will presumably just die if all her life-points deplete. The real trick is a malicious program known as Xana. Xana can activate towers and allow him to manipulate the physical world (often via electronics). The girl trapped on Lyoko is the only one who can deactivate a tower and only from the inside. I hope that covers enough.

Anyway, who's interested? I'm interested in trying to progress the plot in interesting ways and am open to new ideas (so long as they could actually happen in the show). Mainly, I want to start from the beginning and get at least to the point where the Aelita character can be devirtualized. You don't need to have seen everything, but you should probably at least knot the premise up to the middle of season two.

Lastly, if you aren't interested in this RP but the premise sounds interesting then I advise looking them up on YouTube. The channel CODE LYOKO OFFICIAL ENGLISH has a playlist of every episode. A fair portion of the first season can be skipped without missing much. It does get better in the second season when they changed producers, I promise.

I'd like to run a few ideas by you. First, I think it would make more sense if they were in high school. Second, I was going to leave the location of the school ambiguous. This way it's easier for people imagine where we are. I plan on keeping it a boarding school, but have the rules around it being less strict. While never really enforced, you can see several instances where they say dorms are closed basically from breakfast to dinner. In this RP they will be open to boarders at all times during the day and non-boarders are welcome to visit (but not stay overnight). How does this sound? And do you have any requests for how to start the RP? I was thinking to have them discover the supercomputer during a class project or something like that.

Just one last side note. I want to limit this to one character per person baring the following exceptions: The player that controls the "computer" person (Jeremy) can also control the Aelita character. A second character can also be made if the second is someone who doesn't know about Lyoko.

I like that idea. Just trying to figure out what kind of character i should be... I am torn between an Odd character, a Sissi character, or a Yumi character...

Who Controls XANA: Everyone, in a way. I will take primary control, but anyone caught in the chaos of an attack can mention what happens. If anyone has an idea for an attack as well I'd love to hear it.
Are OCs allowed: I wouldn't have it any other way. The teachers and staff will remain the same for simplicity's sake, but other than that the characters are completely variable.
How smart are the Monsters: How smart were they in the show? That's your answer. To be more specific, they can communicate and plan, but are still fairly dumb (like when they try and makes jumps not possible to make). And just a side note, many animals rely on communication and some level of planning for survival. For example, some fish work together to keep schools of smaller fish in a tight space and take turns diving in to feed. Whale song is also a form of direct communication, as is just about every other vocalization in the animal kingdom.
