Code Lyoko - Rise of Xana

Exactly. That's why I just thought of this 20 minutes ago. ;P Posting something that long sometimes feels like you're overtaking someone else's character in the process. Like even though somehow we managed not to, usually posting something that long would force another character's moves or actions, which I really don't like happening to me or anyone else in an RP. :/
 
I understand that, but it also gives you the chance to see how a person is viewing your character's understanding of a situation. I try to keep it as detailed to the written movements as possible and add little comments where I think it might be interesting if only necessary. For example, there is a thread that my friend and I are in together and the reaction posts usually mention our character's stringing the other along in a slight way but we leave it vague enough for it to be filled in by the next post. That way there's some direction but not control and there's always the choice to go your own way. I hope that made sense, I keep reading it and know what I'm trying to say but I'm not sure if I explained well.
 
I see what you mean. I guess I'm doing the same thing with another person, just with much shorter posts.
 
@TheMoonRose. Your character's appearance reminds me a lot of Kurumi from Date A Live. Is there supposed to be any semblance to her? (I didn't want to post it in character signup because that's @Shog's job and I didn't want to take his place, but I just had to ask. XP)

No I just looked up some ideas and saw someone who looked similar to that character and I thought it was a cool idea

Whoops XP lol. It is crazy and scary. It really stinks to have the services blocked though x.x
 
It stinks that this world has hackers for hire. Like seriously, a website for roleplaying, what's the point in DDoSing it? No hacker could benefit from this except monetarily for a bounty or something. And only some other retarded roleplay website would actually set them up to do this.
 
I really don't know but I just hope that this recent trend dies out sooner rather than later. I don't see a benefit in the long run for any of it except some 2 second laughs that shouldn't be worth the effort exerted.
 
Well if you look on Twitter, apparently lizard squad is forcing people to follow certain accounts to get PSN and Xbox Live back. It's possible it might be something similar here. :/
 
I KNEW SOMETHING HAPPENED TO TWITTER! I never use the damn thing but I'm always signed in on my phone just in case I want to check out collegefessions but yesterday I was logged out.
 
Well I don't think anything actually happened to Twitter, but lizard squad essentially held PSN and Xbox Live for ransom on it.
 
Oh, my bad. Well that's not surprising, they've been able to do everything so easily it's insane. They control so much with that little power.
 
One of the biggest pains in the ass. We can't even use the consoles to watch Netflix if we wanted to. Basically my xbone and PS4 are great show pieces right now.
 
That just means your wifi is messed up or something on it. :/ Netflix and basic services like that are still usable, it's just all the PSN stuff is jacked up like online gameplay and the Playstation store.
 
Hm.. I'll have to check it out when I catch up a bit more then. My friend also couldn't connect to netflix yesterday when we tried so I thought that was just part of the issue. I'll report results later but now that you bring it up the Ethernet cord probably is loose or something.
 
Yeah, Rp Nation keeps logging me out. I don't know what's going on, but I think it's smart to put the Rp on hold in the meantime while the admins sort things out with the server switch, because things are all jacked up. My network is pulling Rp Nation's IP as not private which kinda worries me about getting on regularly. Who knows what'll happen next?
 
@Jabrark, what browser do you use? I might be able to help you get the ads off. either an ad-block program or just manually removing them from your browser. Sometimes they'll attach themselves to your browser as a tool or toolbar and that's what causes it.
