Code Lyoko - Rise of Xana

I pretty much did claim victory. The game is that it's me against everyone. Behind enemy lines and hiding. They have to find me before Sunday night and either kill or capture me. If they choose capture, I have to try and escape. It's fun in a kind of panicky lone survivor-ish sense. I'm currently on my phone in a shelter I put together and they haven't ventured out to find me yet.

Kiara and Dahlia made up. Calvin, Jake and Sai are heading toward the tower. James is fighting the cypher who's name escapes me and Katie is watching I believe.

Damn that's intense, and really awesome! Have any awesome shots to tell us about?

So there I was... (How all war stories are required to start) I went from having a pistol and (rubber) knife to stealing a rifle and some other gear. That was a fun little raid. Snuck around enough for the first night to go grab the stuff from their base (campsite) and harass them for a while. Firing one shot from the treeline every so often and picking them off. Was able to do that for a few hours until they moved a full front in my direction. That's what brought me into the "on the run" stage. Ran into the group they sent out to look for me that night and ended up having the front behind me fighting the patrol in front of me for a while before they realized I was gone stealing more stuff at their campsite.

*sits and listens with my eyes wide* It sounds like you have a lot of targets to kill off. I really wish I could watch via some camera or something because it sounds so epic. They're trying to hunt you but you're too professional and they're losing men and supplies. How'd you manage to get the two groups to fire at each other for so long?

They get to come back to the game 10 minutes after being shot so it's an infinite number of people that are coming after me in a sense. As for the stuff I stole, it was designated for the game that I could steal it. Back to the war story. The thing about fighting at night is you don't want to give away your position too much so you fire in single shots, however faced against multiple enemies someone in a panic will fire in a fully automatic spray of bullets trying to take out as many as possible. The thing about multiple rifles going off at once in single shots, and adrenaline playing with your head, is it sounds a lot like one rifle in an automatic mode. The easiest way to capture me for the front that chased me would be to simply tun me out of ammunition so they would fire off their shots in a single rounds thinking I was spraying them when really their patrol was the one being fired at and doing the same thing to the front thinking it was me running around to different positions and firing at noise like they were. I assume one of them eventually turned on a flashlight or something and realized that I wasn't there at all with a sense of "Damnit! Everyone run back to the camp!".

Oh I see. 10 minutes doesn't seem like very long so there are probably less people than I imagined. So you not only outsmarted them by using their adrenaline in chasing you to your advantage then pitting them against each other, but you also were able to take their things without a worry in the world for a period of time. Damn.

There's around 50 or so of us out here. 8 in the patrol maybe. There's a handful of "rebel" guys (15 or so) who really just wanna kill me but might settle for "selling" me to the main team, when they aren't in firefights with them. Everyone else was the front. It's a mid-sized game but still fun. Anyway, they call me The Mole for a reason.

Also, try saying "I am The Mole" in a bad French accent. It's fun.

O.o Okay there are a lot more of you than I imagined lol. You're really the center of attention and winning. You deserve that title and must be really bored if you're trying it out in different accents XP Though you aren't wrong, it is fun.

Well I'm the main objective of the game. The "rebels" are out there because it would be boring just looking for me so they cause trouble and have some battles with the main people and I've run across them a few times. They're basically the more advanced players dressed up in raggedy clothes and some camo stuff. The main force is full on soldier dress: camo, chest rigs, and helmets. And there's me: Jeans and a "tactical" shirt I got off Amazon with a hat plus the stuff I stole.

Think really odd version of Harry Potter and I'm the golden snitch in the middle of this game.

Or capture the flag and I'm flag. Or King of the Hill and I'm the hill.

I hope they at least entertain you with their battles from time to time. Your uniform seems to be the most professional, obviously. I understand now ^.^ Sorry for asking so many questions but I've always wondered how airsoft works and it really seems so cool. I've only done paintball and lasertag.

For perspective, paintball is the sport or the place for pain junkies and it's fairly different from airsoft although they look similar. Laser tag is the weekend pastime, you play for a while in the chaos and have just pure fun. Airsoft is a battle simulation, it's as real as you can get to fighting for your life against your enemy without joining the military or other protective services. They're all games of course. I prefer airsoft over everything else because you can play it so many different unique ways and become immersed in it. Also it's a good bit cheaper than paintball with a lot less hassle.

Yeah Katie and James were fighting two different Cyphers (though I hate to say I don't remember Shog ever accepting the Cypher, he's pretty integrated now). I guess he's on Xana's side? And James and Katie are friends right?

Thank you again for the clarification, Fox. I knew laser tag was just a fun little pass time compared to the other two events but I always thought paintball and airsoft were similar apart from the pain aspect. I had no idea they were conducted so differently but airsoft seems to be something I'd much rather do than paintball. Honestly only went paintballing once for my boyfriend's birthday and no one shot me because they knew if they did I would rip their head off.

I had several things to discuss with him so I started a conversation with him to talk about it. I accepted him there.

Oh okay. I'm sorry. Rereading what I said sounded really bitchy.
It didn't sound like that to me and, having not seen me accept him, you were well with in your rights.

@GrieveWriter

We need a way for Cyfer to be less powerful. On his own he actually seems a little under powered, but after seeing him replicate so many times I know it will be impossible to defeat. It is kind of like Hornets. They can't aim at all, but there is always so many of them that it does not matter. What I am now requiring is a time limit for each clones life (primarily so there is only one when another tower is activated). I suggest having a way of stopping a new clone from generating (like hitting the limb that will generate the new one or something like that). And don't forget that you can not take an infinite amount of hits as, while I am willing to give you extra life points, you still lose health for each hit.
shog, was jay talking to katie and james/
No. Jay is in the computer room wondering what happened. If they heard then they can try to answer, but there is no obligation.

I'm willing to accept recommendations,Cypher's entire battle strategy revolves around using numbers to overwhelm opponents. Without the clones he's as easy to destroy as any other monster as shown.

The digital sea entirely destroys his copies, along with the same environmental hazards that could destroy the players.

So I guess an introduction of a beneficial weakness would seem necessary.

So do you want more health?

Each clone will have less health than the last, as each seperation of single unit would be the equivalent of halving life points.

The original Cypher should have a considerable number of health points, and large groups would have miniscule health points for each individual.

Leaving us with:

1 base Cypher= XANA avatar tier health points

Small Group(2-3)= Equal to the health points of a human avatar.

Group(4-9)= Each individual would have about 1/2 the health points of a human player.

And Large groups(10 and up) Less health points than the average Blok

When a clone loses all their health they dissipate into data like any other monster. No more cloning possible at that point.

Leaving Cyphers as increasingly dangerous only when there are smaller numbers of them. Larger groups can be dealt with easy as any other monster when handled accordingly.
