She was born as a witch with many gifts to her mother, who was a witch, and her father, a powerful voodoo priest. She was a symbol of unity for the two studies of magic, and quickly rose to power. She became a wise, fair ruler. One day, her coven was threatened by witch hunters, and she saw one course of action: put a stop to it. She used her magic to end their schemes, but the police found her. She was given two options: disband the coven, or serve life in prison. Guess how that went.

Special Ability/Power:
Unbeknownst to the board of corrections in Thesta, his family, and to the personnel and inmates in his penitentiary, the warden possesses the ability to drop his body temperature, be it a part of his body or the whole thing, to low temperatures that approach the likes of absolute zero, freezing whatever he comes into contact with while in this state. His core body temperature sits at 21 degrees Celsius and thrives that way, unlike a normal human being. His normal unmodified touch, as a result, is a bit chilly, and isn't warmed easily by the of a living being. His powers are sexually transmitted.

Weakness/Inhibitor:
Hot temperatures are Edward's weakness. He can't activate his powers if he has a fever (which, for him, is room temperature, 25 degrees Celsius) or is near hot devices like a furnace, fireplace, or source of intense light. Effectively, he can be burned alive rather quickly. Throw him into the fire, and he'll quite literally melt if he's not brought back into a freezer soon enough. His skin has some properties of ice, but in such a way that he can be cracked, but not shattered entirely. At least not with ease.

Backstory:
Edward's early life in Thesta was quite standard for any child of his time: get a standard education until the age of 16, then go fight for his homeland. At the time period of his adolescence (40-45 years ago), Filincia was a part of Thesta, and, in an attempt for independence, rebels under Thestian power decided to fight for their own independence, believing in their own ideology and law. With a clean divide in the population, the rebels began to call themselves the "Independent State of Filincia", and began to treat the inland of Thesta as their own. This started a war that lasted five years until an agreement to segment Thesta and Filincia was settled upon. Edward Brookes fought in this war at 16, and won a series of medals for bravery and selflessness. He is deemed a young hero of the time.
After his years of service at the end of the war, Edward found himself a job as an investigator, still serving the Thestian government, where he worked to bust the guilty and acquit the innocent. In his job, he found the supposed love of his life, Maria, during one of his investigations, and eventually had a daughter, Samantha, in the year of their marriage. All sweet, right?
Not quite.
During his work, Edward, now 35, took up a job for the ruler of Thesta to track down a man who'd allegedly raped his daughter, Sophia, also known as the "Ice Princess of Thesta" because of her unique gift to drop her body or part of it to a temperature close to absolute zero and freeze things upon touch, an inexplicable birth bestowing upon her a gift that no other had in the colder parts of Thesta. Upon looking into the case, Edward had discovered that this was all a huge lie; there was no rape, and Sophia was nothing more than a temptress looking to get in bed with an older man like Investigator Brookes, blackmailing him with the threat of going public and ruining his marriage. And, in a rut in his sexual relationship with his wife, he accepted. Edward left the case unsolved for years just to keep seeing Sophia until his wife had discovered that he'd been staying around this rape case for so long... then she found the expensive gifts he'd been giving her, therefore, ruining his marriage by his own hand. Maria quickly separated from Edward, uninterested in knowing who his mistress was.
But this were only going to get worse: the same year of the separation, Thesta was about to go to war once again, and lead by Sophia, who was working for Filincian officials to overtake Thesta - a reverse in ownership with the perfect inside woman. It didn't take long for the uprising to be brought to a halt and peace to be re-established between Thesta and Filincia, but it did come at a price: the execution of the ruler's daughter. Hesitant at first, but the heartless king eventually accepted, and Sophia was murdered through being burnt alive. With her powers and ice-like qualities, she melted with no shred of her left to be saved.
All of this happening while Edward began to develop Sophia's unique qualities and abilities, as well as her weaknesses. What she'd failed to tell him was that her powers were sexually-transmitted. He couldn't go public with the truth about his powers, or else he'd be linked to Sophia and potentially executed as well.
In an attempt to move on, Edward parted from his investigative work and, instead, pursued a life dedicated to keeping bad people like Sophia locked up for good. It is that reason that he worked to establish Thesta Penitentiary with as secure of a system as it is - to house dangerous individuals like his past lover was as he tries to become a better man, win his wife back, and put this undesired gift of his behind him for good.

Other:
Edward refuses to visit a doctor for humans due to his abnormal form of homeostasis, so whenever he is unwell, he has a private medic who knows about his condition and swore not to tell of it.
Edward's affair is public knowledge; the fact it is with Sophia is a secret. Even his private doctor doesn't know how he developed his powers. If his involvement with the Ice Princess of Thesta is made public, Edward could face the death penalty under Thestian law, have his medals revoked, and forever be regarded as a 'traitor'
Edward's office has no heating, and is therefore freezing when you walk in.​

Felix the guard is a mystery. Regularly referred to as a legend in thesta penitentiary, Felix is THE man.. felix often introduces himself out of nowhere to the inmates, singing and dancing his performances usually takes a turn toward a deal.

People who have had dealings with the magic man tell strange tales... the world stops making sense when Felix walks onto the scene,
No one knows what he wants, for the most part he just wants to be seen and heard.

Under her bangs are six more eyes, all completely red.
Lower half Is all eight legs and body of a spider minus the head which is where her human hips join. She has two smaller legs at the front which resemble the initial shape of human legs without anything below the ankles, but really are just mandible type spider limbs made of the same exoskeleton. Her forearms and hands are also covered in her black exoskeleton.
In total, her spider portion is six feet tall and ten feet long from end to end, While her human half is about four feet tall from hip to top of the head.

Place of Birth: Unknown. She was, however, discovered in the forests of South America abandoned at a doorstep.

Sexuality: Unknown. Possibly bisexual.

Personality: Timid, careful, frantic when scared, generally one to try to appease others.

Likes: A stable home is all she wanted before, and now she just wishes to survive. She does like the food, however, since she was not always fed.

Dislikes: Abuse, yelling, loud noises. She also hates people touching her hair generally.

Special Ability/Power: She is a Drider, so she is larger and stronger than any normal human. Her legs and exoskeleton hands are sharp enough to cut very finely, and she has fangs which inject her fatal venom. She also possesses untrained dark magic innate in her, and has even once summoned and shot a particularly deadly obsidian bolt from a bow after forging both. She can speak to any insects and arachnids of the sort and can bend shadows slightly even without having trained that skill.

Weakness/Inhibitor: Though stronger, she is not a juggernaut. She can be overpowered by a group of professionals, and she is too timid to usually attack. By applying essentially mittens and covers to her legs tips and hands, along with a guard around her mouth, she becomes physically incapable of doing more than pushing. She also can be kept in absolutely lit areas and devoid of bugs which keep her abilities limited. The biggest inhibitor is she is simply a pushover, never attacking anyone and always in good behavior and cooperating with her guards. They might put a heavy shock collar on her if they take her anywhere new due to her size but as a precaution.

Crime They've Committed: Multiple homicides and burglary. The judge ruled in favor of this rather than self-defense due to her species being dangerous. She was provoked and attacked but that never was accepted by the courts. The burglaries were also something she was forced into, but the other culprits were murdered.
Backstory: Kala was discovered in South America, and the couple soon took her back with them to the United States. After six years they gave her to an adoption agency, realizing they couldn't handle such a creature due to fear and paranoia of just her being. Soon she was running through many foster homes, and eventually, at eighteen she was released into the public as an adult. She tried working some normal jobs, but no one would hire her. Eventually, she was sheltered by a gang in a bad side of the city, and they forced her to pay for her staying by making her the getaway since she could scale walls at speeds of 25 mph easily. After multiple robberies, a drunken fight turned sour as one turned on her and shouting obscenities. Before she knew it she had bitten him trying to keep him from baching in her head, and before she knew it she was fighting to keep everyone else from trying to do the same. After six deaths and blood coated claws, the battered and horrified spider called the police on herself, offering no resistance.

Other: She likes to cook, knit and sew. Never liked stealing like the gang did but she had to make a living.​

Some characters have been accepted passed the submission cut-off due to a variety of reasons, including bad timing, misunderstandings, an agreement to drive a particular narrative, and my own laziness to get the warden's CS done on time, but as of now to maintain some order in the RP, please do NOT submit another character/ask me to reopen submission in DM's; that goes for anyone accepted in the RP already, or for whoever is seeing this thread long later, unless I state otherwise that we are re-opening the RP. I'm sorry for anyone who was genuinely interested and missed the deadline, but given the circumstances of the RP, a time may come when we start accepting again. Thanks for all the support this has been given, and I can't wait to see what this roleplay will become.

Super speed, able to create small little pocket bubbles for protection.
Weakness/Inhibitor:
Because of how incredibly weak he is, John cant keep his energy going for very long- the longest he can super run is a few minutes, before he has to stop to rest, and the portal ability he can barely keep up for a few seconds, let alone a minute. He's incredibly naive and can be taken advantage of due to his weakness easily, also has a disorder known as Narcolepsy, where if he's under too much stress he will drop dead asleep.

John does not belong in jail, his crime was known as "Attempt of sabotaging the Council" in which the leader of Rukri sent him off due to his attempts of starting a rebellion with his brother. He along has been arrested, and his brother is still in hiding.
Backstory:
John was raised in his city ruled and controlled by the iron fist of the Council, a group of rulers who reigned over their subjects and brought nothing but grief and destruction in their wake. John and his brother, Alex, worked as carpenters and had a small mechanics shop, but when word came that the council would be forcing further taxing, the both of them grew suspicious, and began to do their investigation. Finding soon after that the Council would be scavenging the city and collecting not only a simple advance in taxes, but double that they were already paying, and the brothers Masters did not enjoy this.

They began to let the word out, warning all to bar their doors and fight back, thus John was snagged from the city street during business hour, and dragged off to the city jail. Alex found out soon after, and went into hiding, plotting to free his brother, all the while keeping close eye on the Council and all their moves.

Silver, as her nickname suggests, has long, messy hair down to her waist that is...Well, silver. Her eyes are a brilliant shade of ruby red, with slitted pupils akin to those of a cat. If you hadn't guessed it already, her snowy pale skin giveher away as an albino. Silver is a reasonably tall five foot ten, and is quite slim, with some muscle tone despite the large amounts of sweets she consumes. This is due to her body needing large amounts of calories, as Shifting burns through them at an extraordinary rate. In her amazingly adorable grin, razor sharp fangs can be seen, and her nails are sharper than those of a human - more like claws.

In a word, Silver is Volatile. In one instant, she's a happy, slightly childish girl, who loves to play games and make friends...The next you can understand why the word monster is whispered behind her back, as her form flickers, fangs and claws lengthening. She has a limited understanding of normal human behaviour, having practically raised herself, mostly as an animal in the forest she called home. Despite the fact that she's incarcerated, she seems delighted to have human company...Despite her constant attempts to escape her cell. As she often explains, Shifters are not creatures made for iron bars and low ceilings - she belongs running free in a forest or a mountain. Now if only she wasn't a dangerous creature with a taste for human flesh. If she decides for whatever reason, she dislikes you, she can be spiteful and petty, but with most people she's the very picture of sweetness and innocence. She's easily tricked, due to her aforementioned innocence, and naivety. She gives off the air of one much younger than herself, and many doubt her age.

Weakness/Inhibitor:
A metal called electrum ( a naturally occurring alloy of gold and silver). Silver has to wear a bracelet made of it, though she often manages to slip it off. With it on, she cannot Shift, and her skin is burned by contact with it. Once she gets it off it takes her a while to be able to Shift into a large creature, only being able to Shift into something up to the size of a Labrador. She has been threatened with a collar, but so far there seems to be no chance of that happening. For maybe a week after bad behaviour ( like fighting) she has to wear a muzzle, as a punishment and to stop he from being able to fight effectively, as her favourite weapons are her naturally sharp claws and teeth

Murder, specifically cannibalism (Though she argues that it's not cannibalism as she's not human)
Backstory:
Her parents were killed when she was so young she would have died if she were human. Luckily, she was easily self-sufficient, hunting for prey, until one cold winter's night shortly after her normal hunting ground burnt down in an unexpected wildfire. She came across a human wandering, and - not knowing really what is right and what is wrong, she killed him, and consumed his flesh. Humans quickly became her favourite prey, as she apparently enjoyed the taste. Now, she sort of understands why that was wrong, and she swears she would never do it again (though the way she looks at some of the guards throws that into doubt).
Other:

- Cannot cook, so kitchen duty is not for her
- Will fight with people, then try to make friends with them a literal second later
- Her morals are twisted, as her understanding of right and wrong is still slightly off.

nearly wiping out a whole ecosystem, endangerment to humans- capable of razing a thriving city to the ground with ordnance as easily as they could transform it into an apocalyptic wasteland.
Backstory:
Lilith used to be a lively person and would help anyone from experiments to major projects. She followed only one person and would never betray her ruler who she thought was a kind lord but in truth he was a tyrant who wanted power. The ruler and his scientist came up with a new major project that needed a person but all the people declined except one, Lilith. The project was a success but one of the ruler's scientist smug out infectious nanomachines(aka the plague) that is capable of spreading to virtually any organic material that rotted the host from the inside out, sustaining the victim's life as they suffered to enable their proliferation as the scientist modified the weapons in Lilith to use the plague as a weapon while everyone had their back turned. Upon testing, everything was doing well until the infectious nanomachines soon spread into Lilith making her suffer as her insides begin to rot she soon called out to her lord but to see her lord to turn his back to her and walked away . As she was now disbelief, hatred and pain, she soon begin to infecting the whole jungle with the plague as the plague inside her started to get her feelings and begin to rot making her turn into a hollow husk of pain that will cause suffering to all that is living.
Other:
Lilith must have a special container to drain the liquid plague in her mask to prevent overflow. The container will be taken by doctors for either research or disposal as the container will be replaced with a new one.​

Backstory:
her history is from far back when she had a family who were extremely skilled mages that taught her how to master the vehement and volatile natures of dark magic without giving into negative emotions that theses can inflict on the wielder. However, one morning, after a particularly heated clash with a rivaling faction, Calamitas woke up to find her parents and siblings dead, hung on crucifixes by an angry mob. Filled with hatred and rage, Calamitas forgot what her parents had taught her, and brought devastation upon the mob, burning them with hellfire and teleporting them to the underworld to be tortured for eternity. Calamitas, defeated and sobbing, retreated to her now-vacant cave carved out in the mountainside. She then took to practicing the magic of necromancy in order to revive her parents and 2 brothers. After sometime she soon had a her success on bringing back her siblings, she heard a ethereal and almost-mesmerizing voice for her to take refuge into the jungle. As she wandered into the jungle to the point of finding the jungle temple meeting a lord named Yharim. He had felt her power over the arcane due to her immense and manic outburst of destructive power. He eventually recruited her into his army after several long and persuasive talks over what truly matters in this world. When Amidias the sea king refused to help Yharim in a certain ritual Yharim had Calamitas incinerate the oceans as her first mission. After awhile she has forgotten her dark magic that caused chaos due to the fact that she didn't have to try as hard.​

Backstory:
her history is from far back when she had a family who were extremely skilled mages that taught her how to master the vehement and volatile natures of dark magic without giving into negative emotions that theses can inflict on the wielder. However, one morning, after a particularly heated clash with a rivaling faction, Calamitas woke up to find her parents and siblings dead, hung on crucifixes by an angry mob. Filled with hatred and rage, Calamitas forgot what her parents had taught her, and brought devastation upon the mob, burning them with hellfire and teleporting them to the underworld to be tortured for eternity. Calamitas, defeated and sobbing, retreated to her now-vacant cave carved out in the mountainside. She then took to practicing the magic of necromancy in order to revive her parents and 2 brothers. After sometime she soon had a her success on bringing back her siblings, she heard a ethereal and almost-mesmerizing voice for her to take refuge into the jungle. As she wandered into the jungle to the point of finding the jungle temple meeting a lord named Yharim. He had felt her power over the arcane due to her immense and manic outburst of destructive power. He eventually recruited her into his army after several long and persuasive talks over what truly matters in this world. When Amidias the sea king refused to help Yharim in a certain ritual Yharim had Calamitas incinerate the oceans as her first mission. After awhile she has forgotten her dark magic that caused chaos due to she didn't have to try as hard.​

Despite being far past his prime his anatomy seems to resemble that of an athletic university linebacker, attributed to his muscle-bound shoulders, trapezius, and so forth. Crimson pigmentation has appeared to further developed throughout Mr.Z's eyes after the conclusion of many trials, theories suggest that finagled strands of DNA during experimentation ended with this result.)

Calder is a very composed man, notably controlling himself in a professional mannerism in the most dire of situations. Abusive remarks, verbal threats, and even inmates performing sacrilege against his religion do not necessarily phase him unlike those who take these verbal insults straight to heart. There are those that think he’s ‘immune’ to distress all-together although that isn’t necessarily true as he’s shown incidents of vexation during physical altercations with insubordinate inmates during procedural lock-downs. Whilst having the composure of a statue, Calder is still capable of exhibiting signs of kindness especially towards special convicts that share some characteristics with him or are able to have his sympathy.

Nevertheless Zhukov takes his vocation rather seriously, being completely devoted to the strict set of guidelines set in place at the penitentiary, rarely is he ever lenient except in circumstances that don’t result in any consequences or disorder. Overall his mindset is very complex and hard to follow, with a stone-cold expression and infrequent patterns of emotion it’s difficult to read his personality unless you truly understand him.

Adráneiakinesis (also known as Inertia Manipulation.): Calder's main ability is his overwhelming aptness over Intertia (a property of matter by which it continues in its existing state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line, unless that state is changed by an external force.) Calder is fully capable of controlling the amount of resistance matter has to a change in motion or rest, increasing, decreasing and/or maintaining it. They can increase object’s inertia, to make an immobile object immovable, or to make a mobile object unstoppable. They can also reduce an object’s inertia, making an object easier to accelerate, decelerate or change direction.

Photograph of Calder using Adraneiakinesis to accelerate his hand through a kitchen appliance without sustaining any injury to himself, additional testing reveals Z-001 being able shred the side of his hand through flesh, stone, or even metal yet still without any self-harm. Researchers admittedly describe the test subject to be highly proficient, splitting through various objects and creating clean lacerations in the process. However this isn't limited to his own body, during his incarceration a lone prison guard witnessed a few accounts of him 'toying' with random objects or materials in his possession, often levitating it above his palm or gradually spinning it in circles without touching the entity. As 'harmless' as this may sound, one event throughout his years of incarceration at Thesta Penitentiary revealed just how devastating it could be after he was unknowingly ambushed by a fellow inmate who carried an improvised shank all the while with Calder carrying nothing but an ordinary ping pong ball. Within mere seconds the aggressor was on the frigid floor of the gen-pop hallway with what appeared to be a bowling ball sized hole through the center of his chest, exiting out the midsection of the deceased person's back, correctional officers and inmates alike were baffled to discover a bloodied ping pong ball swirling in a puddle of viscera next to the motionless body. (In view of the fact that Calder was defending himself, this incident was ruled as self-defense.)
Supernatural Conditioning: Calder is glaringly, obviously and super/unnaturally superior over his own race because of his unnatural capabilities which are pushed far beyond the natural level; making them immensely stronger, faster, durable and smarter than normal members of their species (in that verse) can achieve by any method of training and remain that way with little or no maintaining. Feats such as being able to lift vehicles or even leap great heights can be easily performed by him.
Anger Empowerment: Kind of self-explanatory, Zhukov has the ability to become stronger, faster, more durable, etc. through anger/rage whether their own or others, possibly unlocking abilities related to the affinity and enhancing their existing powers. Some users may be able to draw sustenance from the anger or even slow or stop aging. This affinity of his allows the Supernatural Conditioning to further amplify, making him a foe to be reckoned with.

Weakness/Inhibitor:
Self-restraint (Unless enraged.): Calder willingly holds himself back, wishing not to cause harm to inmates even when he's being assaulted. There are few exceptions to this such as him being in a state of aggression which counteracts his composure, making him extremely violent to those opposing him. Or if a convict is about to grievously wound a colleague, only then will he resort to life-threatening measures.
Z-001 Fibrillation Injection: Almost every guard has an Inhibitor of their own to prevent them from going 'rogue'. This is no exception when it comes to Calder, X-001 Fibrillation Injector is a typical syringe containing a special anesthetic that reduces Calder's heart-rate, preventing him from tapping into Adraneiakinesis and rendering him into a state of unconsciousness.
Electricity: Electricity will act as a natural defibrillator to him and can potentially slow his heart-rate down to weaken him or cause a great deal of harm.

Backstory:
Born in the urban agglomeration of Yekaterinburg, Russia. It was an ordinary standardized middle-class life for Calder as he lived alongside his parents as an only child, aside from having no siblings to interact with it didn't prevent him from creating a handful of friendships and new experiences throughout his adolescence. He'd often get along with everyone, being known as that one overly eccentric kid that had to talk to everyone including those that chose not to. In his elementary years, Zhukov achieved exemplary grades, often getting commendations from his instructors as he studied his way up to his High-school days. Perfect grades, loving parents, and endless friendships, it would've been perfect childhood if it weren't for the uncertainty of his own future and not understanding what to do in life which is a challenge that most teenagers such as him face nowadays. Luckily for him, he found his calling after clumsily misplacing his step climbing a ladder which concluded in a painful experience of collapsing to the ground and receiving a mind-boggling concussion which landed him in the emergency room before being transferred to the local psychiatrist for analysis, as to check for any further damages regarding learning/memory functions. Calder couldn't help but find himself thoroughly intrigued by the advanced methodical practices of the doctors around him, at long last he finally attained a life-long goal, an ambition of becoming a psychiatrist flourished through his mind like a blossoming flower after obtaining his diploma which continued up until college where after 10 long years of patiently waiting and striving for success he managed to receive his Doctor of Philosophy in the subject of Psychiatry eventually settling down back in his hometown of Yekaterinburg where he joined a mental health service for 2 years, that's when Calder's world around him crashed down like a meteor to Earth.

Painful palpitations struck through the strings of his heart one fateful evening, which he thought nothing of until it continued, each progressing day worse then the last before he decided to check himself in, only to discover he had Coronary artery disease. Surprisingly not just one artery was damaged but nearly all of them were hardened and restricting his heart from beating, causing him to be administered to the emergency room and placed on life-support for months on end to eagerly wait for a gracious donor, a donor that would never show up. He was slowly losing hope, how long would he have to stay in this Hell? How long would he have to suffer this sporadic pain in his chest? These questions ran through his mind every single day until they were answered by an unfamiliar pair of faces, both of them outfitted in black-satin suits and matching expressions almost giving the impression of them being androids. Even though they wouldn't reveal their names, these guests of his were wholly 'honest' about their field of work, announcing themselves as government men who were here to give people like him a second-chance at life for free, all he needed to do was sign a simple contract and they would guarantee his survival. Only a mad-man would refuse such an offer, so he accepted and almost immediately he was taken by surprise by a cotton bag being strewn around his head, hours later would he find himself in a sparsely lit room.

Heavily armed military men and researched crowded the room, all of them focused on a now confused Calder who struggled to come to senses. "Why am I here?" He kept asking them, none of which gave him a decent response as shrieks of terror from neighboring rooms riddled him with goosebumps from fear. Dread filled his soul as he saw his new 'home' across from him, a 10x10 cylinder full of God knows what, at this point he realized they weren't there to 'cure' him they were there to hurt him, badly. Resisting proved unhelpful as he was drug to the chamber and thrown into the mysterious liquid, his last breathe of air leaving his lips before being rendered unconscious. Months had passed and so did their cruel experiments, Calder was placed in a perpetual state of hypnotics but his senses could feel every painful sensation as they cut, prodded, and experimented on him. To them he wasn't known as Calder Zhukov nor a human-being for that matter, only a letter and a number, Z-001.

After being suspended in a vat of liquid for what felt like an eternity Calder's eyes soon flickered open, embracing the light shining through his emptied glass prison with stitches aligning the left side of his chest additionally an overwhelming sense of power flowing through his veins. At-least the bastards were able to keep their word except instead of freeing him they used him to further develop their research, every day was new, sometimes it was harmless but others were awful... Memories of people screaming even that of children. it's the only thing he can really remember from that time in his life. He didn't know how many people he killed, all he knew was that he was finally freed from that Hell only to put in another known as Thesta Penitentiary which became his new life, his life as a mentally ill inmate clinging onto whatever sanity he had left before reaching enlightenment in the form of religion after years of rehabilitation. After reaching his fiftieth birthday , Calder's prayers were finally answered as he was offered the second best thing to freedom, an opportunity to become human again instead of a shackled animal inside of a cage, he was given the chance to work for Thesta Penitentiary which he humbly accepted. (Any other files regarding Calder V Zhukov or Assignment Z-001 are strictly prohibited and are only accessible through the Warden's permission.) (Apologies if this was poorly written! I honestly dislike creating backstories.)

Other:
As both Guard and Chaplain, Calder performs many roles but his main responsibility is to tend to the spiritual and emotional requirements of the patients. Acting as both a clergyman in some ways but also a counselor.

In spite of having the responsibilities of a deacon, Calder isn’t the stereotypical preacher that spouts off about the lord and tends to be very respectful about withholding his beliefs to those who are skeptical of religious practices.

Calder also functions as a psychiatrist/counselor to those in need. Even that being said, he isn’t one to behave improperly as to assist the emotional needs of his patients, meaning he can’t do something illegal in order to fit the necessities of that individual. (Can do minor favors like offer extra chow time and so forth.)

Zhukov has a lawful neutral alignment, mainly following the set of codes held in place for Thesta Penitentiary but is shown to be sometimes hostile to those that do not meet the standards of his own morality. Inmates convicted of harming children always manage to make his personal hate list which is one of the few reasons why he rarely gets to see the prisoners sentenced for those crimes unless needed.

Because of Calder not being a 'criminal' he was permitted to work as personnel at Thesta Penitentiary. Although he's trusted, precautions are put in place to prevent him from betraying the facility, an obvious example being Z-001 Fibrillation Injector.

Not to mention two-inch lacerations that bury into both of her cheeks, only continuing to his/her jawline before stopping. Mannequin’s skin is also notable as it resembles fiberglass or plastic as expressed by correctional officers, oddly enough this ‘material’ composing its body is equivalent to Tungsten because of its inability to be damaged easily.)

There’s not much to say here! Mannie doesn’t exactly speak much. She tends to be rather quiet in social situations even when others around her are interacting with one another. Only a few inmates have actually accomplished the feat of making her talk however it’s often short-lived, from prior experiences fellow prisoners deem Mannie as sociable and kind-hearted even though she has a deep-rooted hatred for humans as well as Thesta Penitentiary personnel.

Sound Amplification: This entity is capable of increasing the strength, duration, and potential of sound to it's fullest, the effects may change depending on the original effects of the sound that has now been amplified. Anything projecting sound such as a portable radio or something like a jackhammer can be used as a lethal-weapon if Mannequin is in the vicinity. Yet because of his/her limitations they are only able to increase the volume of the object every 5 to 10 seconds, further escalating the noise by 10db or decibels. (An ordinary radio produces 70db, it would take Mannequin less than a minute to reach the noise-level of a Jet taking off, easily making someone’s eardrums rupture. Any further increases of volume would proceed in gruesome side-effects such as internal organs being ‘imploded’, heart-attacks, and much more.)

Dermal Armor: His/her unearthly ‘skin’ acts as innate armor, which is heavily resistant to attacks, harm or pain and temperature extremes. (This Dermal Armor is seen to be as resistant as Tungsten.)

Soundwave Perception: Mannequin is able to perceive sound waves as sooty-appearing lights, they do not have a specific color although they’re usually influenced through its environment, meaning that it’ll change from a darker or to a light color if there an abundance of brightness in his/her surroundings.

Mannequin is consistently outfitted with a metallic face-wrap that conceals both his/her ears and mouth as to prevent Mannequin from tapping into his Sound Amplification ability, rarely does a prison guard have to obscure his eyes as it’ll only dampen his Soundwave Perception. (Since that unorthodox talent is viewed as ‘useless’ they don’t see a reason why to cover his/her eyes. Remember that he/she can easily remove these binds if they choose to but it’ll result in their back-up inhibitor being deployed.)

Nap Time! (Back-up inhibitor):
Usually used in emergencies or if Mannequin voluntarily removes his lower face-wrap. Lockdown procedures immediately kick into effect, S.T.F.U conveniently short for Security Task Force Unit are established on the scene. Each member of the unit is heavily equipped with anesthetic and high-powered tranquilizer rifles that are used to non-lethally render Mannequin into an unconscious state.

Backstory:
Mannie was discovered in Anchorage, Alaska at coordinates (61.175954 N, -149.763634 W). This location marked was stumbled upon by local authorities after hearing a noise-complaint by drivers who passed by a wholesale mannequin store which was eerily placed on a dirt-road on the outskirts of Anchorage. Once police had arrived they almost immediately discerned a screeching sound, reminiscent of nails on a chalkboard that played out on repeat, in the reports they even swore it grew louder every second that past. After several police-responses demanding for the owner, they breached the building on suspicion and discovered trails of splattered blood embedded within the bristles of carpet, some of it even painting the walls. One of the many officers had to step outside for a brief moment to regain his composure after vomiting from the visuals of the crime-scene. Innards, limbs, and so forth were indiscriminately positioned past the store-counter and in the living room where the noise continued to grow even louder from the bedroom. Upon closer inspection at the deceased corpse, they identified the victim around thirty to forty years old, male. He was believed to be the proprietor of the building as well as the manufacturer of the dolls awkwardly positioned around the store, there was no other way to tell aside from his wallet found at the scene, his lifeless body was so mangled that an autopsy would be impossible.

Police officers soon stumbled upon a scene that would haunt them forever, a slender feminine figure that was hunched over a bed with dismantled chains around her forearms and wrists next to ‘sensual’ dolls used for someone’s entertainment, possibly the store-owner? Understanding the scene before them was rather complicated as their concentration was directed to this strange woman that didn’t even have human-skin, as if one of the sexualized mannequins were brought to life. Horrendous screeches grew louder from the creature’s mouth as the officers approached, a few of them couldn’t help but collapse to the floor with bloodied ears from the amount of energy being produced from the sound. Before this thing could get any louder, one of them somehow managed to wrap a nearby towel around their mouth, ears, and eyes to calm them down before the officer’s eventual death. A special containment team was swiftly brought to the scene and successfully captured Mannie without incident, retrieving unmarked VHS tapes regarding Mannie’s maltreatment of the store-owner and a dead officer’s badge camera.

Other:
Fun fact: 220db is loud enough to actually melt concrete! At 1,100 Decibels, this sound would create enough energy to form a Black Hole! However this wouldn’t apply to this creature as he/she would already be tranquilized or physically destroyed from the vibrations. (So she can't do something this OP)

Mannie is only allowed to speak to other inmates through his face-wrap, making her sound a bit muffled as he/she communicates.

A multitude of magical items stored on them and concoctions, including nonlethal rounds that surpass a magical protections. Thier suit is able to become airtight in case of a disease outbreak or airborne magic, their headpiece able to block out mental manipulation as long as it is worn, and when not worn she is still incredibly strong-willed.

Backstory:
Rumored to have been on two tours since she was 18, then suddenly her record becomes a lit more restricted. Known only to the Warden, she was part of a special operations unit designed to kill unruly paranormals. She has a kill count containing a number of archmages and demons, her equipment being the only limiter of her abilities. She is also working with a demon, able to summon them when needed, but they are not contracted. Pisha, the void demon, is simply a retired squad mate who was her partner for most of her service in her unit. She rarely calls on her and that works for the lazy void demon.

Weaknesses include sunlight, and it make's their disguises more real. An example is they begin to require food and air to survive when in direct sunlight and in a disguise. Holy relics and magic are also effective.

Special Ability/Power (if any):
Jason has a magic coffee mug he stole at the age of eight, it talks to him and him alone, it can change shape, is indestructible, and can form coffee just how he likes it at will, or when Charlotte the second feels like he could use a fresh cup. Jason himself is basically Batman in terms of physical ability. Height, etc
Charlotte the second’s coffee keeps Jason alert to any magic persuasion or influence of any sort. If needing so, he can ask Charlotte for a special brew, this increases his human abilities a fair bit.

Charlotte also warns him telepathically of danger.

Backstory:
Jason was raised on the mean streets of Gotham, he stole a mug at age eight and his life changed, it guided him and gave him hot coco on cold nights, he called it Charlotte the second after his dead friend Charlotte without a number.
At age seventeen however he went on a crime spree even Batman couldn’t stop as the feared mugger or mugman but he actually paid off his crimes with his spoils and fled Gotham at age twenty five to get a job at thesta, he works regular hours but has just been given his holiday time and is eager to get back to work.

Jason the mugger takes no shit, and sometimes has his coffee Irish.

Personality: Will's demeanor is what you would call unstable. Normally,he tends to be quite a nice person to be around, with a solid sense of humor, and a semi permanent smile on his face. If he likes you, he'll be more than willing to help you, or make something special for you(usually, equipment-wise). Make him think that you're a cocky hypocrite, and you'll find him changing into an aggresive, snarky state. Piss him off, and you might find yourself fleeing a masked psychopath laughing maniacally. The fact that he can alternate between these three phases at a hair's trigger makes him very hard to predict. Apart from that, he really isn't the most sociable guy around, and sometimes has trouble starting conversations(although, once conversation's started, he find it difficult to shut up). Obviously, there's no doubt that the man's a genius, although usually he is not the conventional genius most people expect. Lastly, he has an obsession with masks.

Special Ability/Power (if any): Will is blessed with "The gift of Creation", an ancient form of magic. It is unknown how he managed to obtain this sort of power. If you ask him, he'll tell you that he doesn't quite remember. It allows him to:

1.Have an excellent understanding of all kinds of Machinery that he can see, with the exception of magical types of machinery. He can "study" these mechanisms in order to understand them as well

2.Be able to expertly utilize all kinds of tools and materials, in order to create... well, it's a large list of things.

3. He is able to summon, out of thin air, a large collection of tools and materials. Of course, this costs him physical energy and strength. the higher the quality(and quanity) of the summoned supplies, the more energy is required.

Additionally, thanks to further experimentation with this magic, he was able to enhance it, and confer the following benefits to himself as well::

1. He is capable of withstanding much more fatigue than the average person. Around 2-3 hours of sleep per night are enough for him, and he can go on for days without food. His body has also been strenghtened, granting him immunity to all non-magical diseases, and poisons, as well as the ability to recover from wound considerably faster than a normal human. Even the most severe of injuries is unlikely to disable him for more than a week.

2. Perhaps the most bizarre aspect of his power, but one that fits his psychotic aspect all too well, he is able to summon masks at will, similar to tools.each mask confers a different benefit when worn, . His personality has often been observed to change when he dons a mask, although that is not a staple, either.


Weakness/Inhibitor:He is extremely vulnerable against all sorts of psychic attacks and/or abilities in general. He effectively broadcasts his emotions to empaths, and attacks that affect or confuse the mind have great effect against him. For this very reason, amongst the prison staff is an empath, who is ready to engage and neutralise Will if he's ever to attempt escape. As a secondary measure, his cell is to be checked daily, and any contraptions deemed potentially dangerous, confiscated.

Backstory: Life's never been easy on Will. Society always needs somebody to mock, somebody to torture so that they feel better. Will spent most of his life as that somebody, with his only solace coming from a few occasional "friends", and Irene, his Sister, who could always cheer him up, even when he was at his darkest. Still, a life of torment isn't exactly good for one's sanity or morals. And that's pretty much all that he'll tell anyone, implying that there was no ulterior motive. Even so, one cannot overlook the fact that the victims all appeared to have committed some criminal act, or how he effectively surrendered to the police after executing about two dozens of first responders. Perhaps his reasons are deeper than he lets on...
 
Athanas Athanas you are accepted, feel free to check the OOC thread for the discord server where most OOC talk is nowadays and join in on the RP.

As for everyone/everything else, the RP will now close off to both newcomers and new characters from existing players. We have over 25 characters in-RP as is, and at this point, it's more than enough. Side-characters are okay to add in, but this is it for main characters, and let's leave it at that. Sorry for the inconvenience.
