I actually have never played Black, White, or the sequels, so I'm maybe in a bit of a worse position than you. The games I have played are Emerald, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and Omega Ruby.

I've played Pokemon Black/White AND Black 2/White 2, so local Unova expert here: You can always have him start on the good old Route 1 if nothing else, between Nuvema Town and Accumula Town. Or start in Accumula Town.

I’m looking at a map right now! I only played Pokémon Black unfortunately and it’s been awhile but looking over the map but according to the map, Accumula Town is where Team Plasma first appear in Pokemon Black and White so maybe we can do something with that

Hey, I just noticed something. Graph, are you a Fire Emblem fan too? Figured I should ask because you named your partner pokemon after Cherche's own dragon partner, Minerva. And a little bit of a FE fan, i'm playing through Awakening and decided to use a track from said game as Evangeline's battle theme. Check her CS ^^

Excuse you! Cherche's wyvern is in fact named after a character from shadow dragon! So by extenstion Nero's Noibat is in fact named after her as well! Fire Emblem pleb... pfftt get on my level

(To answer you're questions yes I am and you are correct that's exactly why the Noibat is named Minerva)
