For the second scenario to happen it doesn't necessarily mean that the character's split up due to an argument. Some characters may just need to take care of things before heading to the Professor's: in the case of Kasey him having to go to the Pokemon Center to take care of his wounds and heal up his Slakoth, and as you just mentioned in your post Maple is already interested in going to the Poke Mart. Though as I said I'm going to let you all decide on the best option

(And right now I'm just holding off on making another post at least until a couple of people from the other group make their own)

I think the second scenario would be easier cause it allows us to have our characters to go our own ways without having to think up a reason why they would need to visit the professor, especially when considering how many of them come from foreign regions. It just would require to figure out how the groups would bump into each other and meet as well as why they would reconvene

And while drama could be interesting, it does lead to the question of why would they decide to reconvene and travel together if they split up on bad terms?

And I’m up for having Anemone taking in a Regis before or after taking in Iris, especially since Iris is planned to also be a temporary capture, leaving after Anemone helps it enter its sky form.

Stitches and Patchwork the regis will only be temporary. They're just going to be used as part of regigigas' story. The only character that will actually keep a regi is Kasey

I guess I should specifiy. Let's say Vincent got in an argument with Oliver, only those two split up, but the group is concerned for each so they split to assist one of them and cool them down. That isn't to say it will be permanent, just temporary and they get back together. It's just an idea about splitting up but to split because of business is another good option too.

Hey, hey don't put me on the spot xD I cannot choose between friends. They are both great but I say Vincent has been way more supportive and seems level headed so far. Both Maple and John feel like they are in the same boat in their own ways struggling to overcome their insecurities. Regardless, Maple has a lot to thank John not just for helping but the coat as well. I say we can decide before leaving Sandgem to see who goes with who?

isn't that an edited image of one of Black Butler's panels? I used to watch and read Black Butler and had a phase for it back when I was younger, and I can recognize Yana Toboso's artstyle from a mile away. And yes, i've seen that particular edit before, so I do indeed know what it says. : )

lol I guess it is? To be honest my friend sent this meme awhile back and fell in love with it I had to use it. I didn't know where it was from. I had a small Black Butler phase myself when in high school. I only got past the 3rd episode because my subscription on hulu or Netflix got cancelled so I had no other platform to watch. My best friend recommended me that anime because it was her favorite "yaoi" but it just has subtle hints here and there as I recall.
