Personality blurb: Dusty is extremely hot-headed, and acts petulant to everyone around him. As most Preppies are, he is dismissive of the lower classes at best.


Biography blurb: Born under a self-made man, Dusty was expected to care for himself throughout his childhood. His father was absolutely determined to toughen up his children, and so had a karate master imported directly from the far-off region of Olathe, to teach Dusty some character. The grizzled master became Dusty's single greatest role model, despite his crippling painkiller addiction and alcoholism.


Powers: As a Wood Elf, Dusty is capable of eating almost anything without suffering ill effects. The teachings of Master Armstrong has given Dusty the ability to drive his fists through muscle and bone as if it was paper, and to throw balls of pure fiery passion from his wrists.


Abilities: Dusty is a leatherbelt in Armstrong-Style Karate, an advanced martial arts style


said to be a mixture between Karate and Pain. If nothing else, Dusty can rely on his own family's connections and money to get by.


Weapons: Dusty's fists alone are dangerous weapons. Due to the way Armstrong-Style Karate handles the natural flow of one's chi, wearing something on one's wrists will amplify the flow of chi and, thus, the power of his attacks.

Personality blurb: Very softspoken and reserved, she is dedicated to her schoolwork. She is level-headed, a bookworm, and extremely imaginative, yet too shy to share her ideas


Biography blurb: Her mother left when she was barely a year old, leaving her in her father's care. When she first experienced her powers, she frightened her father half to death and honestly he's never been exactly the same since. She was homeschooled for a long time after that, until finally he decided she needed to be social and make some friends. Yet that kind of hasn't happened yet.


Powers: She is quick and quiet and can sprout wings from her back, though as she is only half fairy they aren't strong enough to do more than hover.


Abilities: She is a talented artist and musician

Name: Morris Cross


Species: Human

Appearance: Dressed perpetually in dark black, sometimes with white designs spiraling across a sleeve or pant leg, Morris has messy and unkempt jet black hair covered by a hood whenever he can get away with it, a skinny frame, and blood red eyes.


Faction: Punks


Personality blurb: Morris prefers to keep to himself and only opens up to his friends, of which there's not many since he has difficulty trusting people and his poor attitude gives most people little reason to try. He's constantly just a little bit angry and very terse with people he doesn't know well, and on top of that whenever someone makes him particularly angry (which isn't hard) he can be exceptionally cruel in his retaliation. Morris also has a habit of lying, sometimes even when there's no reason to at all.


Biography blurb: Word around the school is that Morris' mother is technically still married to his father, but she's never around, having walked out on him when Morris was a child. When she does turn up, usually on Morris' birthday and occasionally on Christmas, it's usually to show off her new boyfriend. Morris is distant from both of his parents and has no siblings.


Powers: Morris can conjure fire, though not very far at all. A flame on his knuckles gives his fists an extra bite, though, and kept in his palm it's a free never-ending lantern.


Abilities: Morris has learned how to fight unarmed thanks largely to the very limited range of his powers.


Weapons: There's not really anything the school can do to keep Morris from bringing his fire-conjuring hands to class, though actually using the fire on people is obviously not allowed.

Personality blurb: Aiona tents to rely on her charm and connections when it comes to problems. She is very two-faced, on the first look she seems bitchy, spoiled, she blurts out everything she doesn't like about a person, has a high temper, and is a perfectionist. But once you get to know her better she is actually a pretty reserved, shy, loving person with good intentions, but she just doesn't know how to say them. She acts all high to hide her vulnerability, because "showing your real emotions shows weakness".


Biography blurb: She was born and raised inside of the Wassergeist household, not an ideal situation, but she cooped with it. Their family was very rich, and had a high reputation. As she was the firstborn, and heir to the family name, a lot was to be expected. Several maidens followed her every move, and corrected her where she went wrong, so that she would become a proper lady. But most of the time it became very lonely in the big empty halls, she wasn't allowed to go outside the gates, and her parents didn't have, n'or did they bother to make, time. So rather then stay inside she spend most her days reading books in the big fountain in the backyard.


Powers: She can wield water, and grow a tail.


Abilities: Painting, very persuasive, charismatic, and singing.


Weapons: "A lady of my caliber would never have any weapons, how dare you even question me!" She did pack a few bottles of very heavy pepper spray. "for protection!" Yeah, Yeah, just in case.


Other: She is a very clean person, if even a little bit of dirt stains her dress she goes mad, spill anything on her and she will either kill you, spray, or drown you.

Personality blurb: Quiet, of course, but very mischievous. She has an intense liking for humorous situations, and will clownishly (or mime-ishly) go out of her way to fall on banana peels, get squirted with seltzer, etc. She's very fun-loving, and just a tad promiscuous.


Biography blurb: Étouffé was born in Paris, France, to a drifter mother and a magical talking fox father. This was a strange family relationship, and the circumstances of her birth made it even strangers: She was born, naturally, a mime. She never gained the ability to speak, but rather, became very good at using gestures to get others to understand what she meant. Before long, her father left to go impregnate a goose or something, as Tricksters are notorious for being unfaithful to their spouses, and she was left alone with her mundane mother. Almost immediately after her father left, her mother shipped her away to boarding school. Where she is now.


Powers: Able to summon invisible versions of things, warp reality directly around her to take on more cartoonish physics. Her overalls are a sort of hammerspace in which she stores a variety of generally useless items.


Abilities: Excellent dancer, talented actress, and very good pantomimist. She can also bake a mean crêpe.


Weapons: An invisible Louisville Slugger that she keeps somewhere in the hammerspace of her overalls.


Other: Silent but deadly.

Name: Curtis Taylor


Species: (Nominally) Human


Age: 17


Gender: M


Appearance: He's an ten-foot-tall bald Caucasian guy with blue eyes, ears that stick out, and a fairly noticeable farmer's tan. Has a number of scars on his upper arms and chest, is cartoonishly muscular and broad-shouldered (we're talking triangular here, like Jesus Burgess-tier), and always wears boxing gloves. Usually, he dressed in tank-tops, shorts, and some ratty old converse sneakers.


Faction: Jock


Personality blurb: Curtis prefers actions to words. This is not, in fact, because he is a "strong but silent" type, but because he has crippling social anxiety, and also he's kind of a spaz.


Biography blurb: Curtis claims to not remember anything before coming to the school. This is a lie. In reality, Curtis comes from a loving and stable family of farmers (though his uncle Joe is reigning heavyweight champion in the North American boxing circuit), and he's really embarrassed about not having a cool backstory, plus he isn't really a fan of talking in the first place.

Curtis is some sort of meat miracle, with muscles, bones, and tissue that apparently surpass a neutron star in density, possessing arbitrary levels of physical strength and toughness.


Punch the Unpunchable: Curtis is capable of punching anything.


Abilities: Reasonably capable boxer


Weapons: Limiters in his gloves that dampen his strength to somewhat reasonable levels


Other: He sounds like Kermit the Frog.

His Usual choice of attire is a Plain Blue striped tank top with a Black under-shirt, with light blue Jeans. He also quite commonly has a pair of light blue headphones on. Personality blurb: Alexander comes off as a rather Laid back and calm Individual who has a sarcastic , teasing sense of humour. He is also quite the day dreamer and is known to have a rather low-attention span when he isn't doing something of importance for one of the Factions. He is somewhat intelligent though he cannot be compared to something like the Nerds. Alex is also rather Superstitious and has a large fascination when it comes to things like Mythology. However when it comes to Jobs he is a Pragmatist and attempts to quickly and efficiently complete it as soon as possible.


Biography blurb: Alexander grew up in New York , His father being a retired Military officer while his Mother was a Nurse. He honestly had quite the regular life you'd expect a kid to have, though his powers soon began to manifest. Seeing the Potential in his powers he began to do a number of Minor offences such as Stealing and pick pocketing. He soon became very well versed in this little Thief persona of his. However his Father strongly disliked the lack of discipline Alex exhibited and soon transferred him to this School for the Supernatural believing it would teach him control and constraint though quite the opposite happened...using his Powers to aid the warring factions in the hectic school. He has now been going to this school for a Year , and is known among the school for his Mercenary like status among the factions.

Name: Ryuji Katsu

Age: 16


Gender: MAN


Appearance: Ryuji stands at about 5’6” and has messy dark brown hair and lightly tanned skin. He’s somewhat overweight and has a bit of a gut on him, which stretches out his polo shirts to fit snugly around his belly. He almost always wears these spiky red shades everywhere, and has a penchant for cargo shorts and sandals. Though rarely seen, his eye color is an attractive light shade of blue.


Faction: Likely to be on good terms with the Entertainers, though not an official member. His yelling about ‘nobody being able to label him and put him into a box’ is ostensibly part of his charm.


Personality blurb: Ryuji possesses an INDOMITABLE MANLY SPIRIT that is always AFLAME WITH PASSION. While some people find him loud and annoying, he’s kind of charismatic in a way that makes him hard to completely hate. He seems a little stupid at times, or perhaps a lot stupid a lot of the time, but he never does anything without a reason. He never gives up, especially on his friends, and is always there for those he considers close. When he tries really hard he can accomplish anything, and he gets passionate about things that aren’t school work really easily. He loves fighting but he’s never, in his own words, “punched a guy that didn’t need it”.


Biography blurb: Ryuji was always considered a ‘special’ student, wherever he went. It’s just that more often than not, people didn’t ‘understand’ his specialness. They didn’t ‘understand’ why Ryuji couldn’t talk without shouting. They didn’t ‘understand’ why basic math was so hard for him, and they certainly didn’t ‘understand’ how he could go through eight school lunches and still be hungry. Thus Ryuji drifted from school to school aimlessly, probably teaching heartwarming life lessons to students and teachers alike before getting kicked out for his HIGHLY UNORTHADOX antics. Eventually he drifted in the direction of Granite Hills, and only time will tell if Ryuji will finally find a place here or among the cliques.


Powers:


-RIDICULOUSLY INSPIRING SPEECHES (His MANLY SPEECHES can inspire the folks he gives them to so much that they reach new personal heights they never thought possible. They can turn million-to-one chances into a legitimate shot, and the tides of conflict could very well reverse after he delivers one. However, the person or people he makes the speech for have to be outmatched/the underdog/losing.)


-Lights! Camera! Action! (Ryuji works on the rule of cool. If something could make an action he takes more awesome or his speeches more bangin’, it’s right there for him whether it was there a minute ago or not. This includes dimming lights, spotlights, microphones, backdrops, and more.)


Abilities: Ryuji is good in a fistfight (Though undisciplined), and is nearly unmatched when it comes to the wooden sword. In addition, he happens to be an excellent cook.


Weapons: A bokken that he carries around everywhere.

Personality blurb: Zane is a relatively chill guy, though he hates the thought of never working for what you have or stealing it from others he can get along with even the nerds and preppies as long as they don't mess with him. His anger issues led to him being suspended from school, breaking some kid's nose. Nothing really gets on his nerves but OC warning, don't tease him with meat.


Biography blurb: Zane was born in Egypt and pushed into a fighting lifestyle. Because of what he was he didn't just fight humans, he fought the supernatural. Most of the time he was forced to fight but sometimes his rage drove him to. One night he broke out and ran away, meeting a very nice police officer in Italy he learned for the next few years how to read, write, speak italian, and English. Though his english is rough he speaks it, now that he has been home schooled for so long his very good friend has now sent him to the Boarding school where he can interact with other people and learn how to act civilly in society.


Powers: He is supremely strong compared to most other people but always acts as if he were weaker than his jock counterparts. Birds, Cats, and Reptiles see him as if he were a god and usually follow him or favor him over anyone else.


Abilities: Skilled at chess and can fix almost anything, if you can't duck it- Fuck It.


Weapons: His arms and legs, be careful they can kill.


Other: Two things, don't piss Zane off and don't tease him with meat.
 
Name: Reynaldo Riestra


Nicknames: Rey


Species: Human

Faction: Factionless, ostensibly a jock because of his push for a mixed martial arts club


Appearance:


A lightly tanned, olive skinned young man of spanish descent with dark brown eyes, a perpetual stubble and a mess of poorly-kept, jaw-length black hair that cascades down the sides and back of his head. Standing at 6 feet 1 and weighing in at around 220 pounds of muscle and a reasonable level of fat spread throughout his whole frame, Rey is built much like a fairly well cut heavyweight fighter, if a short and light one when compared to some of the monsters in the division, and has the rough features to match.


Rey sports a prominent, well-set jaw, a squashed and slightly deviated nose, cauliflower ears that he usually hides with his hair, some signs of boxing damage on his face, a pair of missing upper front teeth covered by dentures and heavily scarred and callused hands, forearms, elbows, knees, shins and feet. Besides this he sports a rather large scar that starts near his left collarbone and ends next to his right nipple, courtesy of an idiot with a boxcutter. While he's not terribly, irredeemably ugly, he's definitely not a clean-cut pretty boy either.


Clothing-wise he wears dark red athletic shoes with white laces and soles, battered but comfortable faded blue jeans, a white sleeveless shirt and a red hooded tracksuit with white sleeves. He has a grey belt with a very noticeable oval silver belt buckle engraved with the word "KING" surrounded by laurel wreathes, the meaning of his nickname in english and an old symbol for victory, and he can usually be seen with a pair of silver-rim aviator shades. He also carries a smartphone with some earbuds around and is prone to pulling it out to mess around in some game or use it to listen to music.


Sometimes, when he's called out for a fight and has the time, he'll change into a Nippon Kempo gi. This uniform's made up of a tough v-neck jacket with reinforced shoulders and black rings near the end of the sleeves, an equally tough pair of pants guaranteed to not get pulled down with similar black rings at the end of the legs, white shoes that help traction and ankle support without aiding or hindering kicks, a pair of black fingerless gloves which enhance grip and, of course, the mandatory black belt. Whenever he wears the gi, Rey takes great care to slick his hair back and applies a myriad of hair products to keep it that way throughout a fight, revealing his deformed ears but making him seem much more respectable.


Personality blurb:


On one hand, Rey is almost always relaxed to the point of extreme laziness. Easy going and quite sociable, he's someone that's easy to get along with and who's usually in a good mood, always in favor of goofing around and just trying to enjoy life. Despite coming from an ostensibly normal life he's quick to adapt to situations most would find unbelievable, though it's likely he just doesn't quite care enough to be incredulous.


On the other hand, he's also obsessed with honestly rather ridiculous standards for manliness. He's outspoken, stubborn, honest to a fault, feels every man should know how to fight and he will not take crap from anyone. Though he's not really one to start fights, making him back down and from a one after he's been pissed off is nigh impossible, though it should be said that he's not usually one to hold grudges either.


He's quite proud of his training in Nippon Kempo (see below) and believes it is the best combination of traditional and modern approaches to martial arts. As such, he will readily promote the discipline whenever he feels he can, especially after proving its effectiveness on someone, though he is also an advocate of boxing, wrestling, brazilian jiu-jitsu, muay thai, full contact karate, practically any serious martial art.


Biography blurb:


Rey has no sob story to tell about how he was forced to fight for his life in a mean and uncaring world that shunned him for his skills, which started his path towards becoming a champion fistfighter before coming of age. He has no epic tale about an exiled master who taught him a millenia-old magical assassination style. Reynaldo Riestra is just the son of a fairly well accommodated family of spaniards who had relocated to America. His father was a successful stockbroker married to a pretty woman who'd been a small-time television actress. Really, Rey's life was looking pretty damn good by any standard imaginable.


The only problem was Reynaldo himself. He was always an unruly child, equal parts lazy and wild, and though he was clearly not daft he seemed to live in a perpetual stupor. The only thing that seemed to break him out of his rut were martial arts. Movies, videogames, it was the only thing that got any sort of reaction from him. Though apprehensive of their son turning violent, his parents decided to enroll their then 8 year old son into a class of some sort, anything to keep him active. Obviously, they looked into all the asian offerings in town, the ones that had blackbelts specifically. Though usually this is where the parents put their kid in a McDojo, Rey got lucky.


You see, Rey's parents meant well, but they weren't about to fork out a large amount of their money over what they felt was just a youthful kink. This is what saved their child from a tale of wasted years and dollars since the local McDojos, being relatively succesful scams, charged more than what they cared to spend. No, instead they looked towards a small, comely gym which promoted real, effective fighting moves synthesized out of a variety of styles and practiced safely with armor. That last bit and the far lower rates sealed the deal and so Rey was enrolled in the Sogo Kakuto Nippon Kempo, or the Comprehensive Fighting Japanese Fist Law, dojo.


Reynaldo took to it like a fish to water. Despite the rather suspect claims and generic-sounding name, the place was 100% legit. Nippon Kempo was relatively unknown but had taken to mixing techniques from different disciplines decades before the MMA boom and sensei Kadonashi Jiro was both a skilled fighter and teacher, trying his best to further a craft he had dedicated the better part of his life to. Rey was hooked. He attended class without fail, and though he was too young to do anything but standard drills he took to it with a passion that was absurd for someone his age and was quick to catch on to the mechanics and methods of fighting.


As he grew, encouraged by sensei Kadonashi, Rey began to look into other combat sports and martial arts, learning as much about them as he could in order to further develop himself as a martial artist. It was a bona-fide obsession, but his parents weren't all that worried. Every kid had their little kinks and interests, Rey just liked martial arts, what boy didn't? And then he punched a bully 2 years older than him in the nose. Though he messed up his hand he was positively glowing after the deed. It was only the start. As the years went by the golden boy with a guaranteed future neglected his education more and more, barely getting by as he spent his every waking hour engaged in martial arts. It was his calling in life.


Rey grew into an oddly upstanding but violent young man. He was a nice kid and he was never one to start a brawl, but he spent most of his time signing up to other gyms and dojos in order to spar with them and improve his technique and repertoire. Boxing, wrestling, karate, taekwondo, he looked into every offering within reasonable distance. And while he never actually instigated brawls, he never walked away from one when he could. This was not looked upon kindly in the dojo, but it was tolerated because Rey always attacked two bit punks and wannabe gangsters and he never injured anyone overmuch. Some even saw it as community service.


Though to them he was still the same nice but rather lazy kid, his parents were mortified that their son would engage in that kind of behaviour, risk his life, hurt others like that. They blamed the dojo and themselves, but just couldn't muster the courage to take away the one thing their son was passionate about. And his progress was unnatural. No kid should've trained that hard, fought that much, and yet he just kept growing stronger, faster, tougher. Rey figured he wasn't quite normal, and meeting dudes who could breathe fire or turn into animals was something of an eye-opener. He just knew the world was stranger than most wanted to believe.


Eventually, Rey's life hit a snag three years ago, when he was caught by the police after putting the hurt on some jackasses at a store. Realizing he was in trouble, he chose not to fight and was taken in and sent to slammer for a history of being engaged in similar scuffles and hurting others. Though he was supposed to stay for a year, his tenure increased to three because he kept fighting even when locked up. When he came out, however, he was much more mellowed out. It's hard to say what happened, but he seemed calmer, goofier even. He made amends for his actions and tested for his first degree black belt in Nippon Kempo, passing the required sparring exams with flying colors.


Then, he decided, it was time to finish highschool. With only one year left to go, it seemed like a simple enough proposition, but no regular school would take him in at his age and with his past, so he was forced to look for alternatives. One of these was the the Granite Hills Boarding Institution, which sounded interesting enough and accepted his application, so that's where he went.


Powers:


-Body of a champ:


Though he did so in the haphazard, poorly thought out way overconfident teenagers go about their lives thinking they know better than everyone else, ever since he figured out he wasn't quite normal Rey has engaged in an extreme body conditioning regimen supplemented by his many, many fights. Though this kind of progress should logically be impossible, he has attained a body on the level of high-class professional fighters with his young age, though having said this the truth is that the real monsters of the fighting world are all just as gifted or even moreso.


Rey's primary attribute is his toughness, he can take attacks that should by rights kill a normal 21 year old human being unaided. His strength, though still notable, isn't as prominent. He's strong enough to be considered a freak by normal people, but the truth is that strength-focused characters should be able to overpower him, if not without a struggle. His speed, balance, agility, flexibility and coordination are all top notch as befit a real fighter. His stamina is off the charts and his ability to fight off disease, toxins, narcotics, poisons and the like is equally powerful.


Perhaps most surprisingly, even special powers that would deny mere muscle are forced to contend with his body and he's able to pit his physical acumen against things that would render it ineffective, such as psionic or magic holds.


-Mind of a champ:


Much like his body can take a beating and keep on ticking, Rey's mind is equally strong, a trait born from his countless hours practicing drills, techniques, pushing his body to its limits. Attempts to invade, influence or control it are ineffective, meeting with fierce resistance that manifests as Rey himself attacking the invader. He also has the wild instincts to match, allowing him to sense danger and even deception, making things such as illusions or hallucinations ineffective as well.


Abilities:


-Nippon Kempo practitioner: Anyone with some level of knowledge about martial arts should be able to tell you that the original mixed martial art was Pankration, a mixture of boxing and wrestling developed in ancient Greece. Then there was Edward William Barton-Wright with Bartitsu around 1899. The next landmark would be Jeet Kune Do, the philosophy/fighting style developed by the legendary Bruce Lee. Founded in 1967, it is seen by many as the forerunner to the modern approach to MMA. And for most of the world, that statement is true.


Nippon Kempo, however, predates Jeet Kune Do by exactly 35 years. A highly eclectic martial art which uses heavily padded armor and helmets to safely engage in full-contact bouts with an umbrella of techniques, it has constantly reinvented and updated its curriculum throughout its 60+ year history while placing a premium on realistic, practical application. Taught in a few schools and universities along with police and military academies, the style remains relatively obscure but tremendously effective in the hands of a skilled user.


And while Rey is hardly a master, no one that's only 21 can claim to be a master martial artist, he is a skilled fighter with 10 years of experience in the system and actual fights who recently graduated into a first dan. Footwork, head movement, defensive techniques beyond simple blocking, punches, kicks, elbows, knees, clinches, throws, takedowns, submission holds, Nippon Kempo trains practitioners in all of these and their flow in a fight. And while this base is ample enough, Rey has incorporated techniques and approaches from other martial arts to further boost his repertoire.


His mixture of experience, instincts and relentlessly polished proper technique when it comes to fighting bare handed means his strikes pack a punch well beyond what his strength is otherwise capable of exerting and his ability to dodge or deflect attacks and cross distances in an engagement are superior to what his physical abilities might imply. This is his focus, his reason to be, his everything, which means that anyone with abilities and powers other than physical boosts and unarmed martial arts are simply not as good at them as he is.

Weapons:


None per se, but has a spare breastplate, helmet, cup, gloves, kick pads and other protective equipment for martial arts training among his stuff. They're all sturdy and very well made, and though not battle armor they can help take a beating in a pinch. He's prone to offering them to whoever wants to fight him, though whether it's a taunt or legitimate concern that they might get hurt none can say.

Since she was but a child, Maya already showed an unhealthy interest in sci-fi. Books, comics,


movies, tabletop roleplaying... nothing escaped her quick eyes, always craving for more space exploration, almost fantastic technology and cybernetics.


But then her sister and only friend had to leave for another country. No more conversations about the marvels of fictional planets until late in the morning, no more sharing fanfictions with her, no more writing campaigns to play with her sister. Maya lost contact with her heroine, and the girl's inner light quickly fainted.


Months passed, and Maya's mood didn't improve. Her grades nosedived, and she became even more introverted and socially awkward. The only person capable of soothing her soul was a boy two years older than her who went to the same school. Despite the boy was very obviously not interested in her for anything else than a casual friendship, Maya quickly obsessed over this boy, to the point he became her whole world.


Sadly, a series of unfortunate incidents decided that she was to be separated from her only friend. As decided by her parents, Maya had to change her comfortable home at France for the Granite Hills Boarding Institution, a desperate measure that was supposed to aid Maya with her attachment issues.


Maya has recently started to escape the school from time to time to do some odd jobs and acquire extra money. What does she exactly do is unclear, but truth is her wallet is fairly fat for a girl of her age. She seems to become fairly distressed whenever her friends ask her about her secret.

Powers:

  • EIM (Enforce Interlock Mode):

    Maya possesses a really specific and strange form of reality bending. She can, at will, transform the mechanics of the world surrounding her from an unclear stream of arbitrary events to an universe determined by a straightforward capability ranking scale and the glorious wisdom of RNGesus.


    In game terms, this means Maya can force any other character to play by the Interlock System's rules (Cyberpunk 2020, amongst others), with 55 Stat Points and 40 Skill Points at chargen, and 1d6/2 instead of 1d6/3 for starting money. Reskinning implants is allowed, and so are other homebrews as long as they are reasonable. To simplify the process, Lifepath and surgery damage will not be applied, and characters will have up to 16 free skill points to distribute amongst languages (remember a level 8 language skill is native level) if it can be justified, although leveling up a language over 8 will require Pickup Skill points. 10 days of therapy cost 800 Z and will recover 1 EMP. Use of Magic will be related to INT and HU.
  • Absolute Territory:

    Maya can, somehow, store and conceal any weapons she wants under her skirt. Knives, clubs, chainsaws... nothing escapes her arsenal.



    NOTE:

    despite being named Absolute Territory, she actually wears pantyhose and a fairly long skirt.

    Abilities: Maya is fairly knowledgeable in maths, physics, computer science and science-fiction. Well, or at least for her age. It is also said she moves as silently as a ghost.

Appearance: See above. He's an average height guy (around 5'9") with brown hair, dark eyes and pale skin. He's muscled to the point of being ripped, although it's usually hidden underneath a jacket or jumpsuit. He doesn't wear the makeup that some other punks do. In fact, if he didn't dress like a punk, he'd look perfectly normal.


He often wears black or navy blue mechanic overalls covered with NASCAR badges, covered in some form of grease. His casual wear is generally what you see above which brings his appearance more in line with the rest of his crew.


Personality blurb: Steven Diggs is a bit of a dick. He disregards most opinions other than his own with a strange nonchalance, so secure is he in his knowledge that he's the best. He's more than happy to talk about himself in a tone resembling subtle bragging. He is almost always in control of himself and rarely gets angry, preferring to disregard people talking down to him since they obviously don't know what they're talking about.


He relaxes this attitude a bit when around friends, especially Ryker, who's leadership he does not question. He encourages his self-superior views among his brothers the Punks. He considers his own position a lofty ideal to which everyone should aspire, and hey, if he likes someone enough he may even help them with that. He's brilliant, so why shouldn't they be?


Because of his belief in self-superiority, Steve looks down upon people who would place themselves above him. This would be the bullies, who physically attack him, the preps who's snobbiness is far worse than his own, the nerds who think they're so much smarter than him and the jocks who are dumb as a bag of rocks. And of course, he hates the Administration for representing control when he personally espouses freedom of expression.


Because his skills are in high demand, Steve does occasionally assist people he doesn't like (including the Administration) but uses this to obtain leverage over them. Whether it's a trap in the device he just fixed or something like a favour down the line, Steve helps you because it helps him.


He possesses definite bloodlust, enjoying fights and throwing himself into them with relish.


Steve enjoys speed and tinkering a great deal, being from a NASCAR family. In fact, that's part of the reason he's never seen with a steady girlfriend. His standards are so high that his yardstick is Danica Patrick.


Biography blurb: Steve's mother is a NASCAR driver, his father one of the mechanics on her team. It may not have been true love at first sight but it came, eventually. He was born in Daytona, Florida a bit over eighteen years ago. He had the standard American education, but he spent much of his time trackside assisting his mother and father. It was there that his unique talent began to develop.


After that came his early teens, and he was already developing into the slightly dickish guy we all know today. He didn't fit in in early high school. Those who shared his world-view shunned him as they were all far too rich. It wasn't long before he fixed up some forged documentation to get him sent to Granite Hills. His parents saw it as legitimate, and off he went.


Powers:


Fixer - Steve has the instinctive ability to identify things that need to be fixed, come up with a list of things he needs to do the fix, and then promptly do the work as though he'd been doing it for years, regardless of whether he knows what he's doing. This can range from things such as a broken down car, a crashed PC, a boxing match, or a broken heart.


Sometimes his solution is not the best method, which can result in situations where he asks for two feathers, a wire and a bowl of noodles to fix something as simple as a calculator with a flat battery.


This ability only works if Steve is aware a fix is required in the first place.


Abilities:


"Fixer" - Sometimes Steve lies about what he needs to fix something and then keeps what he requested for himself. This means he's quite good at procuring things kids his age should really not be getting their hands on.


Mechanic - Powers aside, Steve is a pretty dern good car mechanic. He's been working on the things for years, after all.


Driver -





Fit - Steve is a tank. He's muscled to the point of being ripped and yes, he has a six pack. Comes from working out regularly and doing physical work all day every day. For that reason, he can and has taken more than more than a few punches and remained standing.


Toolbox Fighter - Steve's knowledge of fighting with his toolbox and tools is quite robust. Screwdrivers become shivs, wrenches become clubs, etc etc. He's a decent brawler without it, but he has no real training.


Weapons: Dude's got a whole toolbox. Screwdrivers, shifters, wrenches, you name it. Of course, technically it's school property, but he's known to carry it around almost everywhere he goes and since he's a tech student it is expected of him.


Other: He's a Florida boy with a sense of smug superiority who loves NASCAR. He also doesn't smoke or take any substances unlike other punks, preferring to stick to alcohol.

Yumi possesses a thin, petite frame, and stands at about five and a half feet tall. Her body has a number of faint surgical scars.


Faction: Yumi tends to hang out with the nerds, as they tend to be roughly her level, physically. She once tried to become a cheerleader, but was kicked out due to her poor physical status.


Personality blurb: A kind, yet soft spoken young girl, Yumi spends most of her time safely indoors. She has a naturally sweet disposition, but is also relatively sheltered. Due to her being raised by a single parent, she's knowledgeable in cooking and other household tasks. She tries to be helpful to others, both as a part of her natural disposition and to distract herself from the fact that her only friend is a small rock she glued googly eyes onto.


Biography blurb: Yumi is the half-breed spawn of a kitsune mother and a human father. According to her mother's stories, it was a night filled with passion and adventure that led to her birth. In any case, Yumi was born, and from there led a relatively standard life. She was born with a rather weak constitution, which led her to pursue indoor activities when she wasn't visiting the hospital. Between this and her financial situation, it's no surprise that Yumi actually doesn't have very many friends.


As boarding schools tend to have rooming and food provided for relatively cheap, it's easier for Yumi to school there instead of being a burden.


Powers: None


Abilities: Knowledgeable in household chores and cooking. Adequate painter, and versed in some literature. Limited understanding of medicine (As in, 'bandages stop bleeding.' 'These pills keep my heart from messing up.')


Weapons: None. Yumi's not a terribly violent person in the first place, and secondly she wouldn't have the physical ability to use most weapons adequately.

he tries to blend in with expansive attire, he likes fancy jackets and custom printed T-shirts, his bottom mostly consists of cargo shorts, he realizes that they don't fit well with the rest of his wardrobe but he likes them since they are open and easy to run in and the habit of having a lot of pockets, he also like the occasional jewel.




he stands very tall at almost 2 meters mark (1.96) and has a very skinny build, but don't let that confuse you he is not one to be taken lightly.

Personality blurb: Siegfried is kind, loving, ecstatic and energetic with a sick sense of humor he loves experiencing new thing like food, music, sensations, and anything else he haven't done before but mostly he loves the wind petting his fur when he's running.




Biography blurb:
his story begins in birth, as he was born a crime, the cheetah clan was always considered dangerous just cause of their natural ability.

He was born in a shack in the woods of Germany with only his father his mother and a nurse they paid off, very minimal medical equipment and lack of manpower his mom did not survive the, but he was born a healthy baby, but none of it mattered, his father knew his wife has little chance to survive but she refused to abort for they might have no other chance for another child, the cheetah clan was going extinct.

The cheetah clan were hunted by the authority's those who resisted were executed on spot and those caught were given a chance to live free... they would say, but the reality is that they were watched, a chip would be implanted that would monitor their every movement, and in case they resisted an order it would shock them to stop any movement.

After years of running and hiding, they were caught in an ambush his father was shot in an attempt to escape but managed to run into the city and he left Siegfried in an alleyway, he was gravely wounded he told him "do no despair you must live, find your way to be free do what you must, this is our last moments together but it doesn't have to be sad, just remember where you're from, NOW RUN." Siegfried being only 4 years old did not understand it at the time but he could do nothing about it, his father ran towards the police and and drew their attention away he did not get very far but it was enough to let young Siegfried to make his escape.

The next day as the 4 year old crime was wondering the slums he came across a building with big double doors wide open, he went in to hide from the rain, the place was bearing no soul, on a wall was written gym he knew how to read but very poorly his father tutored him in the calm moments, as he took a seat on a very odd chair a fat blob of a man comes out of a room wearing nothing but a towel, he ran in to hiding but it was too late he was seen, the man was coming near saying saying in a heavy accent "don't be afraid little one, i aint gone hurt you" Siegfried was wary he did not move a muscle the man went to a back room put some cloths on and came out with a plate full with sliced fruits and placed it near Siegfried, he took a few back and took a seat on a stool, Siegfried was starving and bit more clam seeing the man was being kind, as he stepped in to the light the man saw who Siegfried was and with enthusiasm he said "my, my aren't you the rare little jewel," he immediately recognized who Siegfried really was "say little cub where are your parents," Siegfried ran a few tears, there was no need for words "ahh, of course the curse of your clan, well you are more then welcome to stay here with me, it will be free for now but as soon as i see you can pull your weight ill put you to good use.

and so he stayed and lived with him, he also trained him in boxing a little for his own future plans, after 7 years at the age of 11 his natural speed was already showing, he said to Siegfried "do you remember what i told you all this time ago, well its time to start pulling your weight," he signed him to some boxing matches but not the normal ones, as soon as he would step in a public ring he would be caught in moments by the authority's but instead he took him to some underground illegal bare knuckle boxing, everyone knew who he was and most of them wanted to take him down just so they can brag about it, it was really a rare sight, he was put in all the unfair matches just to get the little extra bit of money but his record was almost clean he lost only once year later.

A few more year have passed at the age of 15 he was undefeated, until some big shot came with his fighter, a man a creature, his whole body was covered in bandages, they got into the ring, Siegfried thought nothing spacial of him, no one could take him on, his mind changed as the first punch went into his stomach he was hit before but nothing like this it was as if he punched himself, as he understood the situation he fight started it was long both fighters were amazing that was when he got to his top speed, he would never achieve this speed ever again in his life both of them were at mach 3 but their legs were not moving, only their torsos the audience were clinging to the rails just to hold on, but eventually he was still young and not as experienced, he was getting tired then he got knocked out.

He woke up few days later in a mansion that same big shot was sitting next to him "ah, finally awake, good you did nice there kid you are... lets say spacial i bought you off the deadbeat gym owner he didn't see you full potential, he did not appreciate you but i will put you in good use," at this point Siegfried was intrigued what would he want of him going through all this trouble "you see i know what you are and what you are capable of and im gonna use you to start a new business, ehh lets say a delivery business i give you something and you run it over to some one or somewhere i tell you to, how does that sound." Siegfried said nothing just gave the man a friendly smile and a nod "how wonder full, get him ready give him some clothes and something to cover his face." that's how Siegfried started working for the Italian mob.

For 3 years he worked with the mob running deliveries back and forth getting his share accumulating a pretty penny who the mob boss put in a Swiss bank account for safe keeping, he saw nothing wrong with what he was doing he deserved it after all he was a crime to begin with so whats the problem doing some on the side, no one outside the organization knew what he was doing or who he was just about his service, on one of his runs his hood fell of revealing his face the cameras caught him and a spacial task force was assemble to catch him, they had no idea of his actions only that he was a cheetah beast-kin, on his next run he was caught in an ambush he managed to destroy the evidence nothing else could tie him to the mob, he did not resist he remembered what happened to his father.

He was put to trial simply to decide if he lives or dies, but the mafia was pleased with him and since he was still underage they did all that they could to keep him with a clean record, hired best lawyers payed off judges threaten those who refused to cooperate, finally brought it to the media telling about an innocent creature who was doomed to die just because of his heritage, finally it was brought to an end the judge came to a verdict, "since he is still yet to reach adulthood we will send him off to try and live normal life he will be sent to the US to study at Granite Hills Boarding Institution, of course limitation will be set and he will be wearing ankle monitors and wights to restrict his speed to a more manageable level.

and so it came to be Granite Hills Boarding Institution was his next destination.

Powers: speed, top speed got to mach 3, yet only once.

Abilities: he controls basic knowledge of boxing and gymnastics.

Weapons: he has no real use for weapons... he says as he carries a pouch of marble balls on person at anytime.

Other: q(o_O)p couldn't find anyone more fitting than Cheetu... really sorry cant do short story's.​

Biography blurb: Santino is a demi-god and like most demi-gods he never met his divine parent and was raised by the human parent, in Santino's case it was his mother. Santino's mother worked two jobs so she wasnt home much, Santino spent most of his time listening to music and when he grew older he thought him self how to compose music.


Powers: The abilty to controll the vibration of air (sound).


Abilities: Has a good affiliation with music, very good at composing.

Appearance: just a hair shy of six foot. With hair died a mix between red and orange, with a tad of fastener to hold it an upright position. His left eyebrow is pierced with a curved barbell. His body is built more towards speed than strength, and as such is rather lithe.


Faction: Bullies


Personality blurb: Hot-headed and rather angry at life in general. Due to the nature of his power he constantly witnesses every bit of violence that has happened in an area. Which leads him to be a bit more reactionary and on edge than normal.


Biography blurb: Born in a low income neighborhood in Detroit. Richard always knew something was different about him. It might have been the fact that no one else was ever reacting to the horrible violence surrounding them, or the fact that both his parents were drug addicts and he never had someone to tell him not to pull the wings off flies. Which lead to a very violent person, not helped by living in Detroit.


Powers: Richards power is twofold. The first is a constant effect, he can see any act of violence that has been committed in a place. Superimposed semi-opaquely where it happened. The more violent the action, the longer it lasts.


The second part is to cause that violent act to repeat, creating a solid illusion that loops itself. Repeating again and again. For example. If someone was shot in an area in the past. Richard could create an illusion of the bullet that constantly flies the same path.


Abilities: Richard is actually a rather good chess player, and enjoys the game a lot. He is also a semi decent actor. And did several plays growing up.


Weapons: Richard carries a collapsible baton in his pocket, for use with his power.
