Name/Alias: Jack, formally 0-1
Generation: Gen 2
Role in the Resistance: Leader
Cybernetic or Robotic Features:
-Two sets of retractable bladed arms
-Shoulder-mounted missile launchers
-Machine turrets
-Camera lens implant
Purpose/Function: A living prototype and advanced combat unit
Appearance:
Backstory: He had started out as a security guard working for SynthRise, was secretly selected to “volunteer” wink wink in their newest project. After he was successfully implanted with the brain chip, he was forced to carry out the task of gathering new recruits to be made into the next generation (aka kidnapping kids). The saddest moment is that one of those children happened to be his own sister.
Not long after, he was subject to further experimentation, his body being embedded with unholy amounts of weaponry. He did a lot of very bad, very not PG-13 things with those weapons, most of the time alongside his sibling, 0-2. They had underwent numerous missions together, but one ended much differently.
A near fatal blow completely destroyed the brain chip, just like that he regained both his sentience and part of his memory. Remembering (almost) everything he had done, Jack defied orders, refusing to carry out the rest of the mission. His sister didn’t like this very much and to put a long story short, he had no choice but to permanently shut her down. He still has nightmares about it.
He went rogue. Vowing to redeem himself. Vowing to free his fellow cyborgs. Vowing to never pay for another artificially enhanced vegan hot dog. Those are the promises he intends to keep as the Resistance leader.
Skills and Abilities:
-Enhanced vision (infrared, night vision, ect.)
-Enhanced strength/durability
-Sensory override (only used as a last resort)
Weaknesses:
-Limited energy reserves
-Heavy physical load/slow speed
-Memory flashes impact his focus
-Too ugly to blend in a crowd

Name/Alias: “Viv”, formally 0-3
Generation: Gen 2
Role in the Resistance: Infiltration Specialist
Cybernetic or Robotic Features:
-Fully retractable dual katana arms
-Cybernetic neko ears :3
-Respiratory filtering mask
Purpose/Function: Assassin
Appearance:
Backstory: Being one of the many young “volunteers” for the creation of Gen 2, she didn’t have much of a past life. She probably would have ended up facedown in a ditch somewhere if it hadn’t been for SynthRise.
Most of her existence had been a haze right up until the moment her brain chip malfunctioned after a friendly little chat (attempted murder) with Jack. Jokes on her though, because it remained partially active. From time to time, it reactivates, seemingly at random. There is a rapid and very noticeable shift in her personality when it occurs, and at that point she’s almost completely uncontrollable.
While she can strategize about 458 different ways to kill a man using only a piece of chewed up gum, she can’t wrap her head around small talk. She’s still learning how to answer the question “how are you?” without overheating.
Skills and Abilities:
-Enhanced hearing
-Built-in radar (ears)
-Increased agility/reflexes
-Can stealth good
Weaknesses:
-EMP vulnerability
-Prone to malfunction
-Socially stupid
