Fading Shadow

On the Run as always
Blue Angel submitted a new role play:

City of Wolves - Are you a pack? No, we are a city.

‘Come and listen young ones’ said the old elder to a class of young students. One of the students walked up to him and sat on the hard, cold floor. The student looked up and listened. The elder looked down at the student and knew that she was interested in what he had to say. ‘Now I’m going to tell you something that’s history.’ He said. ‘It’s called The city of the Wolves. Now these aren’t ordinary wolves, these are elemental wolves with different powers. And they had a huge...

Walking out of her room, down the hallway to outside, Kendall smiled and closed her eyes taking in the fresh morning air. Even though she's a princess, she loved to train in the mornings to start her day off. So she skipped right on over to the training room, grabbing her favorite sword and went straight to the dummies. Holding the sword in one day, she got into the stance before swinging the sword right across the stomach of the dummy. To her, it felt like hours practicing with the sword but really, it's only been 10 minutes.

Andruw:

I was sitting in the back of the room laughing at how the Princess was practicing. She was an excellent fighter, and she had no idea how to transform. "The more you practice Princess the better you get," I laughed a little. "If you want to do a sparing session we can. Yes or no?" I asked with a smirk. I was the royal guard, and protected her with my life. I was going to go easy on her.

Hearing Andruw talk, Kendall swirled around pointing the tip of the sword at him smirking back. "Bring it on Wolf boy." She loves to spar with him. Every single time, it was different but interesting. It was enough to keep her on her toes because she never knows what to expect from him. Since she was warmed up, she was totally ready for him today.

Tabitha watched the Guard and Princess about to spar, and she leaned on the wall nearby, ready to watch the pair fight. Watching the two always made her feel ever so slightly happy. A happiness that so rarely broke her barrier of sadness. She grabbed a small ball of energy and began tosses it between her hands, entertaining herself as well as watching.

"Haha girl you amuse me. Let's begin," I said to her, hitting her sword out of her hand. "No swords just hands and feet Kendall." I started to jump around her quickly, trying to confuse her, even though I knew that it wouldn't. Then I landed the first punch. I never saw her so vulnerable, this wasn't usual for the Kendall I knew.

Kendall played glared at Andruw. "You'll pay for that." Before she could attack, she heard someone call her name. She quickly stopped and glanced over to the entrance way that led to the Elders. There stood the head Elder of all seven, Adalbern. He lifted his hand and motioned for her to follow him. Without any hesitations, she followed him.

I looked over at Elder Adalbern. i have never questioned the Elder. What he says goes and there is no final decision. But as the guard of the Princess I followed behind. We had stopped in the all of the great wolves. I wonder why we ended up here.

Adalbern sat down in his chair before speaking. "Kendall, we have figured out a way for the wolf inside of you to come out quicker." Kendall looked at them all. "But it's the most painful." "What is it?" She asked slowly. Adalbern looked at the other six before answering "Extreme anger."

Tabitha didn't try to follow Adalbern, she knew it was likely a private matter he wanted to discuss with Princess. She instead picked up a sword and started to chop at the practice dummies. She managed to tear several to absolute shreds before putting the sword away, with a sigh. She ran her hands through her hair, then headed out of the training hall.

"Kendall I wouldn't doubt the Elders, they know what they are talking about." I told her. I went to go and walk back to the training room. "Wait!," shouted Adalbern. "Your the one that must cause the extreme anger." I looked at him dumb founded. "How do you expect to pull that off?" I said questioningly.

wolf woke up in the graveyard Scentsy he has no place to live he went towards the training grounds he saw the princess sparring with Andruw he decide to go standby Tabitha"hey do you want to spar"

"You must break Kendall's heart." Her eyes widen. "But Sir, isn't.." She started to speak but was interrupted. "No, it's the only way for this to work." She didn't know what to say. Kendall lowered her head and looked down at her boots.

James woke up he decided to go to training grounds he is practicing with a bow who is best with his bow that and with his powers

"But Elder that would be impossible, and I refuse to try. It wouldn't be real enough even if I tried. I'm in love with her," I shouted to the Elder Adalbern. I jumped into the air and transformed and ran out of the meeting hall.

Tabitha watched Andruw run away from the elder, and she wanted to run after him; She always did try to be his friend. He had looked upset. She decided to run after him. She transformed and ran after him, determined to help him. "Andruw?" She ran up beside him, with her head tilted to one side curiously, a look of concern on her face. "Is everything alright?"

Kendall's eyes widen at what Andruw said. "Elder, is that the only way?" She asked. "There is one other way but it hasn't been done in over a hundred years." She tilted her head. "What's this other way?" He snapped his fingers and all of a sudden chains came out of the floor snapping to her ankles and wrists pulling her to the floor hard. "There's a reason why we haven't done this...There's always too much pain for someone and someone always ends up dying." Before she could reply, a extreme shock of voltage struck through her. Kendall shut her eyes tightly, leaned her head back and screamed in pain.

Tabitha stopped, hearing the Princess screaming. She looked back and forth between Andruw and Princess, then ran to her. She skidded to a stop, and looked at Elder Adalbern, she didn't know what to say. She didn't dare shout at her elder, but she couldn't just watch Princess in pain! What am I going to do?! I can't just sit here and watch!

wolf ran to the elder and punched him in the face he did not know what he was doing his body was moving on its own then he started pulling on the chains and start feeling the shock is well

Elder Adalbern stood up and shouted "Step away from her now! If she wants her wolf to come out, this is the only option left." Kendall looked at Wolf. "It's okay. I'll be okay." She gave a small smile. She could feel something stir inside her. But she wasn't sure what it was. Kendall closed her eyes and just welcomed it.

"ok princess"wolf try to let go of the chain but he couldn't the electricity was holding him to it"small problem I can not let go" as he felt the electricity go through his body"don't stop that if she doesn't want to I can hold out"

With a sigh, Tabitha grabbed onto Wolf's hands. Due to her electric affinity, she didn't feel the shock. "Alright, next time you want to touch something electric, use the back of your hands." She managed to peel his hands off of the chains, and sighed. Sometimes... She went to work on his other hand and managed to peel that one off too.

wolf fell backwards into darkness he saw a light and wondered if he should go in it

Tabitha looked at Wolf, as he fell over, his eyes were glazed. Almost... dead.

"Ah! I think he's dead! I- Elder Aldbern do something! This isn't my job!

She started to freak out on the inside, and checked his pulse. He's not breathing! Internally screaming, she searched her mind for something to do.

Elder Aldbern walked over to Wolf, placed his hand on his forehead and murmured a few words. "There, he should live." Inside Kendall's mind, her wolf was speaking to her causing a bright light around her body. A sign that her wolf was about to merge.
