Personality: Samantha suffers from a crippling case of agoraphobia and social anxiety. She has extreme trouble talking to others. She gets very nervous and choked up when in large groups or asked questions by strangers or near strangers (even ones as simple as "may I take your order?") and as such has become quite the introvert. She often gets so shy that she cannot continue to speak during conversations, and unless she knows someone very closely she has trouble speaking up around them at all. That being said, around her sister and a few very close friends who she has grown comfortable with she can behave normally without risk of panic attack. So, while it may be very difficult to talk to her at first, with enough care and work to get close to her and enough time to let her settle in with you being around, she can calm down and react fairly normally - even have a normal friendship or relationship with someone. You just have to be willing to put in the effort.


Withdrawn as she is, Samantha can be so polite that it's painful - rudeness tends to cause attention, but more than that her mother ingrained her with a very strict etiquette, which she has yet to shake.


When she is comfortable with someone she can speak at length about her passions - music and books, particularly fantasy. Being such a shy girl, Samantha's closest friends have always been the characters on the page, and she has an extensive library. She can go on for hours about her favourite books and characters, and often feels closer to fictional figures then she does people in her every day life. Personality: Casi can be a bit overwhelming at times - she's a very boisterous person, perhaps to balance out her twin's quiet nature. Because of this she's (sometimes overly) honest with people - if you ask her how your dish tastes or if your dress washes you out she'll tell you what she really thinks, even if it's not what you want to hear. She figures it's better to hear the truth from a friend then it is from a critic. She tends to be very friendly when she's not working, the very first to bring out the welcome wagon even when it's unwanted. That being said, when she's working she can get very focused and territorial. If you're near her counter beware, she has no problem snapping at you to get out of the way, even though she's not at all that way normally. She's equally territorial about her kitchen at home (you do not go in there without an invitation), though thankfully this hasn't fully transferred to work - she'll just not let you touch her cutting board, knives and the like when she's using them.


She desperately wants to open her own restaurant some day and as such has quite the drive when she's at work. Personality: Perhaps the most notable feature about Remy is his charm - he's all about the performance he gives and he very rarely comes off stage, even when living his every day life. He makes an effort to give of the strongest "charming rogue" vibe he can. He can usually be found wearing a not quite wicked grin, and is usually at the ready to pull a flower out of the ear of any cute boy or pretty girl who happens to catch his attention (and often comes with a ready supply of quips and general witty repartee for any other person he might be interested who doesn't fit his idea of the type of bottom he likes to go for). He's used to getting what he wants romantically, and his absolute favourite thing is to get someone he's interested in to gasp with wonder and delight at the latest trick he's pulled.


He doesn't always fight fair when it comes to getting what he wants, living very much by the idea that the ends justify the means, so he has no problem lying or cheating to achieve his ends. None of his family is really set at moral north, and he's not an exception to that by any means. While Remy is generally a good guy, that doesn't mean he's one all the time, and that doesn't mean he'll always do the right thing (and just because his intentions aren't bad it doesn't mean his actions are right or in any way considered good).


Remy is a bit of a kleptomaniac. And by "a bit" I mean to say that if he were to be seen by a therapist or a psychologist he'd be clinically diagnosed with the disorder. He can't help himself - if he sees something and thinks for even a short moment that he wants it it's incredibly hard for him to resist just taking it. He mentally cannot stop himself. It's not so much the will to take or the rush of stealing as it is a compulsive behaviour he can't resist due to improper treatment of his undiagnosed disorder. Were he ever to get caught he'd likely be ordered by a court to receive psychiatric help, but because he's a magician he's very good at slight of hand, and his room is full of things he's taken off street vendor's stands and occasionally things he's picked up in stores. Just trinkets, really, he's like a crow in that he likes small shiny objects, so he rarely takes anything larger than the inner area of his palm. He's yet to get caught taking something, and as such he's grown rather cocky about it. He feels like he can take what he wants when he wants it, and he doesn't really feel like that's a bad thing.

Personality: Deliana is, generally speaking, a fairly friendly and cheerful sort of girl. She sees no point in clinging to past bad experiences, and instead tries to push herself forward into the future with a bright outlook on life. When her biological passed when she was very little and her mother carried on after a short period of grieving as if life was much the same, Deliana asked her why. The answer she got would be the basis of her world view for years to come. Her mother told her, "If you dwell on things that hurt you or make you sad you'll spend your life making yourself sadder and more hurt by the minute, and someday you won't be able to remember what being happy feels like. But if you hold onto the good things, you'll make every step of your life one with bounce in it, and you'll carry yourself farther then you ever could if you were held down by misery." It's probably an embellished version, by now, given that Deliana barely remembers her mother at all, but the message was clear, and as the only part of her family she could keep with her (aside from Greenbear, of course) she's held onto it like a life preserver, and it's really helped her through the darker moments of her childhood before her dad, Kalvin, found her.


She tries to keep optimistic through all things, but it's not possible to be happy all the time, and trying would be foolish. Since she tries not to be sad or angry or the like for prolonged periods of time, she's decided that it's best to let her more negative emotions run their course passionately when they come up, so that they won't linger unfinished after the event is passed. Occasionally people see her as childish because of how freely she lets her emotions range, but it helps her stay more content and contained as a person if she lets them run the gauntlet when she feels the need to let loose.


She's also sometimes seen as childish due to her impulsiveness. She's just turned sixteen and she still likes to slide down the bannister - and will without any thought for what someone else might think. While she should be "acting her age" and showing some sense of decorum, she has no problem climbing a tree out in front of the school without worrying about the fact that she's wearing a skirt - she very rarely thinks before she acts when she sees something she wants to try or that she figures might be fun. And if she does pause to think, the thought is usually just, 'I've gotta try that!'


She's quite an ambitious little thing, and can be at times very competitive, a trait she finally found an outlet for in climbing. She's always been a bit of a spider monkey, with a tendency to go up rather than forward if the option arose, and when it became apparent that she'd need a sport to let out all of the energy she seemed to charge up during the school day, climbing was the obvious decision. Given that she lives in a rather urban area, she's more used to rock walls then free climbing and bouldering, or even just plain out door belaying. As such, she's started taking part in her local gyms competition climbing events - race events to reach the top before your opponent. It's hands down her favourite sport, and she thrills at the chance to go head to head with someone at the thing she's best at.


Next to climbing, her favourite activity is reading, and she can often be found up in a tree or on top of her dresser with a book. She just feels more at home high up, and once she's in her own up above world she quite loves to dive into a world of someone else's creation as well.
