  Everytime you would hear that city uttered out from one’s mouth ears would perk up, heads would turn, and whispers would begin to start. A place where children who lay tucked in bed at night dreamed of, staring at their ceiling imagining it to be the multitude of lights that would always cascade the city, even at the crack of dawn. People who would do anything for fame wanted to live there, surrounded by the cream of the crop that roamed over the whole world.
  
  The home of multitudes of A-List stars, it was tucked away at the top of California, with tourists always picking it as the first site they'd want to see when it was listed as an attraction. Especially those eager to see the Crowning of the next proclaimed megastar of the United States that would happen each year at the beginning of December. Many betting on would be chosen, and fans praying each day that their favorite celebrity would finally be the one receiving the crown.
  
  This year’s crowning was none other than world renowned actress Perina Rose, finally getting her flowers for starring in many box office hits across the span of her career on January 1st. Media buzzed for months after her crowning and she was the center of magazines, tabloids, and paparazzi who’d follow her every move — until a tragic day hit the city of Starview.
  
  The day the crowned queen of the the year was tragically murdered in her home, blood staining the walls of Rose’s house as if someone had splattered red paint all over the building. Found on a freezing December night, by her assistant, who stated that she’d be “scared for the rest of her life by the images she’d seen”.
  
  It was just days before the new crowning was set to happen, as it always is on New Year’s, but it was delayed and an investigation soon began to start as the whole world wondered who would have done the heinous crime.
