  “the circus appears without warning. it has no schedule, and seemingly no set trajectory. no advertisement precedes it, not one notice was made on billboards and posts, no mentions in local newspapers. it is simply there, when yesterday it was not. who knows if it’ll be there tomorrow?”
  unbeknownst to the public, what happens in the circus is only an elaborate performance. powered by magic, its exhibitions defy the laws of physics and reality, performers pull off feats that are seemingly impossible; every little act is carefully orchestrated.

  welcome to my first ever group role-play, inspired heavily by erin morgenstern’s book, the night circus ! i thought it’d be fun to tweak the book’s plot and make it into a fun little group project !
  the plot is basically about performers being hired to the circus essentially being pitted against each other, but nobody knows who’s their opponents (the roleplayers know, of course, just not the characters.) the end goal: idk. money ? prestige ? power ? we’ll see LMAO
  it’s set in ahistorical victorian england but, as mentioned, this is a traveling circus.

  NOT first come first serve. just dm me with an introduction of yourself & an answer to the following question: why should i entrust you with your chosen role ? (could be an idea you have, inspo, etc)
  also, you can make as many acrobats as you like, or make an oc for any other circus attraction. however, before we start making original characters, i ask the main roles be filled first for plotting purposes.
