Personality: He is calm, loyal and reserved. He doesn't like showing his emotions very much but might do so for those he cares about.


Background: He was born in Mthatha, in South Africa. He grew up never knowing his parents and so was raised by his grandmother. When he was 12 he accidentally froze the nearby river with his power and everyone called him a witch and murdered his grandmother by saying that she is the one who taught him witchcraft. He ran away from the town and has been living alone in hiding. He joined the circus because that is where people like him are and he won't feel unwanted or like a freak.


Abilities: Water manipulation.(He can control water and can change its temperature either by making it boil or turning it into ice.)


What do you do in the

Appearance other: Gattyl has a deep scar running from the center of his forehead to just below his left eye. He's 6'1", with piercing green eyes, and dark brown (appears almost black) hair.




Personality: Gattyl has a fairly dark sense of humor for someone who's involved with the church, and never fails to let it shine. From his personality alone, many question whether he is truly a man of God, but Gattyl is loyal to the church above all else... isn't he? He's extremely sarcastic, and at times can come across as rather condescending, though all in all, he typically means well. In a nutshell, Gattyl is possibly the last man you'd expect to be affiliated with the church.

Background: Gattyl is a mysterious man. Many people within the church come from a religious background, with family members before them, who were known to serve the church. Gattyl seemingly appeared out of nowhere, with no prior record of serving the church. When asked if he could provide any references, he only offered one: The Elephant Man. He doesn't discuss his personal life often, unless he's speaking with someone he feels he can truly trust, which only adds to the mysteriousness of the Investigator. When asked where he's from, he never gives the same answer twice. (Will end up elaborating in RP, if that's alright)

Awesome! Going to do a bit of reading up on what's been going on so far so I don't start out with some stupid post.


 
Okay, I've caught up with everything that's been going on for the Investigators/church people. Seeing as the whole thing's sort of an 'invitation only', should I be waiting on some sort of an introductory post to bring me into the story, or just kinda work my way in?

Abilities: She uses her webs similar to how acrobats use their twine and such. She can walk on it and even sew with it, mending costumes that are torn from time to time. Sometimes, when there is an open wound, she uses her thread to stitch you up.


What do you do in the circus: (in the abilities, kinda) Also, if acrobats were to fall, her webs would catch them without fail. She's quick with her creations.

Appearance Other: Elyn seems very pale, almost as if you can see through her. Also, above is what she looks like when she performs, she's usually dressed in a simple white dress when she's offstage. Elyn always wears a white headband to hold back her long black hair.


Personality: Elyn avoids people, trying to keep out of everyone's way. She tends to avoid conflict, and disappear on a whim if the situation becomes too much for her. Elyn is often the one who ends up getting pushed around, however, she can have a backbone. If someone threatens her friends, she stands up for them, but never for herself. She's terrified of Nicholas and will avoid him at all costs. Elyn is unsure about the rest of the church, but she gets along fairly well with both them and the performers.


Background: The only thing Elyn remembers is being hit in the face with something heavy. She woke up in the cirque and has been here for the past three months. Elyn doesn't remember how she got here or why. She made up her name, getting it from the heroine of a book she found.


Abilities: Elyn can turn invisible at anytime, however her emotions control this as well. She can also float off the ground a few feet, but not far at all.


What do you do in the circus: Elyn mainly maintains the cirque, cleaning up behind the scenes,before and after the performances, as well as maintaining the fairgrounds. She also cleans where the performers sleep and performs her own act on occasion.


Other: Elyn keeps a book about an Elephant Man in her closet.

Country of Origin(If not originally from France): The wilderness of Sweden (Lived in Germany for some time though, picked up the language a bit.)


Species: Werewolf


Sexuality: Pansexual


Appearance: In human form Memios is rather slim and tall for his age, ashen hair with dappling of black running down the back, his eyes are a yellow hazel that burns brighter yellow in sunlight (though they tends to shy away from bright lights so it's rare to see his eyes in that bright shade). He tends to wear mostly black turtleneck sweaters (sometimes teal in winter), black torn pants that look like he'd been running in the forest for a good month and need repairs, never wears shoes. In human form his feet are in a constant state of selective shift since it feels more comfortable for them (passes it off in public as costume shoes, testing durability or something). He wears tinted glasses to protect his eyes from any bright lights that he might stumble into but with his photosensitivity it still can give him a headache if spotted with a flashlight or similar. He considers himself genderfluid and changes his clothing and natural name to adjust to such.


Appearance other: In his wolf form his fur mirrors his hair, ashen (but a bit lighter) with black fading from the base of his ears, darkening along his spine then fading along the top of his tail. He keeps an upright stance most of the time but will drop to all fours when he needs to get somewhere faster. 5'4" in human form, 6'0" in wolf form.


Personality: Shy and a bit temperamental, he tends to prefer his space and works better when helping rather than in the actual show since his temper can flare at random. If it flares during a show it runs the risk of him attacking someone out of panic so he keeps his distance and just helps with cleaning and backstage things. Just a helper. He doesn't speak very often, only when he's in the mood. Ailed with depression and social anxiety. He's kind to nearly all unless he feels threatened by them in any way; if he does feel threatened then he will either avoid them as much as possible or get territorially aggressive with them.


Background: Shunned by his parents after they discovered his lycanthropy he ran away from home to find a place where he could be accepted. He lived on the streets for a good five and a half years before finding this cirque and just kind of hid at the edges of everything, watching and waiting, eventually just starting to help out here and there. No one knows where he came from or who he is, they just know he showed up one day and that he's helpful. They gave him his nickname for the fact that he seems to fade into the background of everything. There one second gone the next. No one has seen him shift fully yet, only partially (teeth, eyes, tail, ears, and paws).


Abilities: Just shifting between wolf and human forms. His human form has some perks of the wolf and wolf perks of human.


What do you do in the circus: Help in the back area; cleaning, fetching things for the other performers, helping cook, occasionally performs on the side but rarely. Basically an intern?


other: He seems to have taken a liking to the Elephant Man.
