The small town of Ann Arbour. A population of 121,477. Make that 121,470. Recently, seven citizens were murdered over the span of a week. The police are unsuccessful in finding the culprit and are closing the case. This is where you step in. A local news broadcast gave details on the victims. They also told everyone in the town to call the given hotline if they notice anything, whether it be online or in the real world. Nobody bothered to listen to it, but a select few did.

Dmitri Gorchev was at his abode, minding his own business when he decided to watch the news. This is when he saw the broadcast. He immediately walked outside, looking around the area before walking back inside. He glanced at the hotline, writing it down and turning off the news. He decided to shrug it off as nothing and went back to what he was doing. An hour later, he noticed a shadowy figure run past his line of sight in the woods. He decided to investigate it, finding nothing. As he was walking back, however, he heard a voice say his name in his native language of Russian. He looked back to see the same figure, hidden behind a mask. He shrugged it off again, muttering to himself in Russian and walking back inside. He decided to look into Internet Mysteries, as he found them quite interesting.

"I still don't understand why you have to move," Finn Winters said. Sighing at his daughter's decision. "You have everything you need in the city and your friends, are you going to leave them just like that?"

Cel rolled her eyes. "Dad, we talked about this, the media is driving me crazy lately. I can't walk outside without cameras flashing on me! And my friends? They can manage without me. It's not like they're gonna die if they can't show off that they're friends with a celebrity's daughter." She squeezed her dad's hand. "You have to trust me on this, I promise I won't disappoint you."

He looked at her hesitantly before closing his eyes and letting out a breath. Finn knew he can't change his daughter's mind, she was always stubborn from the start. "Alright then." She's responsible enough to be on her own.

Cel hugged her father. Finally, he approved. She knew he mean well. He was always protective of her even though he's constantly busy. Heck, he always called her every day and would get mad if she didn't answer, saying he thought something bad happened to her. But despite of that, she didn't want to stay in her father's shadow. Cel wanted to make a name for herself. She wanted people to know her for her, not just as Finn Winter's daughter and moving to the town of Ann Arbour is a great place to start.

"Sir, we're here," the driver said.

The girl immediately rolled down the car windows and was greeted by fresh air. The scenery was amazing. Very different from what she was used to in the city. "Dad look! There's a lake."

Her father moved closer to the window to get a glimpse of it. "Why yes, but don't go there."

Cel groaned but deep down she was smiling, because she knew she made the right decision.

Dmitri was in the woods, chopping wood, when he saw the same figure. He was armed. He was a Russian. He was dangerous. The figure didn't give a damn, however, and walked towards Dmitri. He swung, the axe going through the figure. He stared, stunned. "What the hell....?"
