Ciao!

SupernaturalGirl

Magic Eight Ball
I think that actually means goodbye but whatever, I'm not Italian.

Anyway, so I'm Juliet and I've never roleplayed in my life though I have written several small stories, mostly young adult fiction, though some paranormal stuff, too. It wasn't good but it was something. My favorite book is Catching Fire from THG saga, or Drowning Instinct depending on my mood. World War Z and The Avengers are my favorite movies, though 21 Jump Street and The Hangover aren't too far behind.

Debating matters that actually make me stop and think about things that I had taken for granted is one of the most wonderful experiences ever, followed by getting caught up when writing about one of your own characters.

Whatever. I'm like the definition of nerd and proud of it, and I look forward to roleplaying with you!

Ciao is actually an informal word meaning both "hello" or "goodbye." (I really am Italian. c:)

Welcome to RpNation, Juliet! :D I am one of the many people on the site, though I mostly just hang around in the background. Setting that thought aside, I enjoy helping anyone who needs help or has a question! So, if you ever have any questions, go ahead and ask! (It doesn't have to be just me; there are many other helpful and friendly people around.) And, ah- ... I seem to have lost my confidence so I'm just going to say that nerds are awesome. Go nerds!

Okay, so I'll actually take you on what you said and will ask you a question.

Um, I don't really get how roleplaying works here. I mean that, for example, when a roleplay is 'closed' it means that nobody is online or that you can't sign up? And do you have to wait for people to be online to post or can you do it on your own without anyone there to reply? And do you have to be really good are are crappy writers accepted, too? (I'm one pretty crappy writer).

Sorry, I know I kinda abused your offer for help but I really want to know this stuff :)

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm... questions. Heh. Well, when a roleplay is "closed" (from what I know) it means that it is no longer open for new people to join. As for the posting, there is no specific time when you have to post. Other members don't have to be online for you to post something; they'll see that you posted something the next time they log on because they will have received an alert for the post. :) And writers of any level are welcome on the site, though some people make it specific as to how advanced or skilled they want their roleplay partners to be. And I'm sure you're a very skilled writer. :D

Hello and welcome, Juliet. I'm glad you found us and hope you'll make yourself at home. I'll also wave my nerd flag proudly. :)

If you have any questions as you're getting oriented to the site, just reach out. Darth Cinder has you started, but I'm happy to help, too. If you're used to real-time chat RP it can take some time to get used to forum-based roleplay, but I like it better. It means you don't have to be online at the same time, which helps me.

You may also want to pop by the shout box for real-time chat with members. We're all friendly, and the moderators and admins are usually around if you have a question and can't wait for a response here.

Welcome again to RpN!

Thanks! I actually have started roleplaying through forums and am already having a great time. I think I already have signed up in like five roleplays! Buy anyways, thank you very much for the offer and I'm sure I'll need help so I'll eventually take you on it :)
