Hello all! I'm the Gossip Link, nice to meet you~ So recently I started watching Chuunibyou...and it's already become one of my favorite anime. I've almost finished season two, and my love for the show isn't stopping. Also, I may still have a minor case of Eighth Grader Syndrome...anyways, I really want to do a RP of the show!
I have two different ideas, so here ya go!
The first idea, is a little different from the show. Basically, you know the world that's shown in the world through the eyes of Rikka? The 'battle' scenes, the fancy attacks, magic, etc? What if it isn't just caused by Eighth Grader Syndrome, and it actually existed. A world that's right under everyone's noses, and only those who have been blessed with powers can really see it. In this world, is where my first idea comes from.
We, are kids who have been selected to receive powers from either a great creature, angel, sorcerer, etc. Now we see this whole new world, among the mortal world. And no one else seems to see the creatures, spirits, fairies, etc. So we take it upon ourselves to protect our school, family, or whatever is special to us. But then one of us sees the other, and realizes they're different. Just like us.
I know it isn't fancy, but that's the idea! If you can imagine the world Rikka, Yu, and the others dream up, as an actual world and not make-believe, that's the idea I'm going for. I personally really, really want to do this! But below is another idea I had.
The second idea, is we are kids who've gone on to high school with our syndrome fully intact. Either that, or we are kids we recognize that the world they've made up is just in their heads, but they still allow themselves to mess around from time to time. And when we discover the other, we join up for 'adventures', just to stay connected to our child-like sides.
With all that out of the way, let me go on to who I'm looking for. As the title suggests, I want this to be literate. If you can post at least ten sentences per post, and or roughly two paragraphs, then perfect! But the more the better. I also expect proper grammar, spelling, etc. No Mary Sues, but being OP is allowed. The character I plan on using is...pretty strong, to say the least. So I encourage you to create an OP OC! Just not super-mega-ultra powerful. You still have to have weaknesses that can be exploited. No one's perfect~
For either idea, I really would like to incorporate romance! It isn't needed, but I would prefer it~ MxF, and FxF is allowed if it's a 1x1. If it's a group, MxF, FxF, and MxM is allowed. The reason being is because I pretty much solely play females, so having a MxM relationship with only one male...isn't going to work out well. Also, for either idea both 1x1 and small groups are possible. It just depends on how many people are interested.
