I don't mind a soldier as long it's done well, semi-accurately at least. They would have to be separated from establishment and command as again, their society will not be portrayed at all.Zyther said:Sounds like fun. Mind if I joined it as well?
For a character, I am thinking to maybe do someone from the military? Not the colonel, but just a member. Or would you rather that we are all survivors, I would be fine with either of course.
It's been ten years, so they would by all rights be ex-military, although habits and training would still be ingrained given the state of the world. This is my concern with accuracy in the depiction of an army soldier.

Bob: this works because rumor in America was that Canada had safe zones all over, and the artic tundra further north made it hard for walkers to get around; they get stuck in the snow and the cold climate shuts the brain down after the corpse freezes.
These rumors are of course a falsehood, although the tundra theory holds true. Problem being there is nothing up there... Just tundra and the odd town.
