Realistic or Modern Chosen Souls

If men had passed or not, Clove didnt know. She was too aware of the boys hands on her hips and his lips inching dangerously close to hers. She went along with it, pressing her body closer to his. It seemed like forever but Clove figured the men had gone past by now. She pushed her face away from him and glanced over her shoulder at the men who were talking in their radios. Clove turned back to the boy and tapped the right side if his face lightly with her hand. "Good talk." It was quick, short, and sarcastic. Just how she liked it.

She released herself from his grip and turned towards the door, adjusting her necklace calmly. Clove felt her stomach rumble suddenly and knew that she needed to get some food in her. It had been at least a day since she had had a solid meal. Usually she just bought small cheap snacks here and there from vending machines and whatnot to keep her satisfied.

Clove sighed and reached her hand into her pocket, pulling out a small wad of one-dollar bills. Looks like she had enough. She turned her head over her shoulder and called out to the boy behind her. "Know any good places to get a bite to eat around here?" It was casual, yet curious.

They had passed, left, good thing. Jonathan found himself being slapped and pushed around, he frowned once again, confused on hwo this girl worked and what she thinked and pulled her away, at the same time she pushed him away. What a nice way to say get off, huh? You'd expect more friendship from people that were all they got. "Good talk." she said, a tone he didn't like in the slightest bit, but you have what you got. Jonathan simply stared at her ,confused, angry and happy at the same time, looking how she moved around her necklace.

Then, she asked for a place where she could fill her stomach. Jonathan was going to the café, so, making her come along would be bad or good, depended on the situation.
''Café, come.'' he said, as he pushed her by placing his palm right above her waist and moving her forward, walking forward and slightly pulling out his gun, getting ready to pop anyone that went infront of them.

Caleb smiled and nodded his head. "Well, I do like cookies," he replied to Abe. He was trying not to stare, but now that he was closer to her, he realized that her eyes did glow- it wasn't just a reflection after all. He couldn't help but wonder how many of them existed. Obviously, there had to be more if the E.B.E.P. took the time to chase them. "Hey, what are you-?" Caleb started as he felt himself pulled into the back room. Before he could react, the boy noticed the girl named Keko had sealed them in. Just stay calm, he told himself. He stared at Rin as she spoke, but he quickly averted his eyes when she mentioned the word "host." He didn't look so unnatural, perhaps there was still a way out. "Sorry, I uh- I don't really understand what you're talking about. I know I'm a little messy-looking at the moment, but I'm just a guy trying to buy some breakfast," he said with a nervous laugh. Caleb had never been the best liar, but he really wasn't sure he could trust these people- hosts or not.

So the boy didn't talk much. Alright, whatever. Clove didn't really want to be hanging around with a know-it-all chatterbox anyway, but at least a 'Oh hey, you have awkwardly special powers too' would have been a nice introduction. But since when did Clove even bother talking to people.... Oh wait, never. Instead the kid popped out two words and suddenly started to escort her like he was some sort of bodyguard. Nope. Not today, lover boy.

She stepped sideways and forward slightly fast, pulling herself out of reach of the boys conveniently placed hand on her back. "I don't need an escort you know, I'm perfectly capable of walking without your hands on me thank you very much." She turned her head sideways to give him an annoyed look. He better not think that just because he has a special power like me means that we share any type of stupid bond or something.

The girl was way too rude for his liking, in his opinion, he should've let her far behind, but no, only because she had powers he felt the need to bring her with him. He shook his head, looking forward and putting his hands in his pockets. "I don't need an escort you know, I'm perfectly capable of walking without your hands on me thank you very much." the girl said, once again, an annoying and irritated tone. She was being way too rude anyways, so he split paths and got in his motorcycle, alone. Jonathan stood still, sitting in the parking lot with the motorcycle, looking forward, thinking if he should go to the cafe or not, shortly turning on the motorcycle.

Clove rolled her eyes as the boy went on his own way. Whatever. She didn't need him. He went his own way to a motorcycle which was parked in the motel parking lot. Dang, he might not be the most sociable kid but he's got a sweet ride. She eyed the cycle for a few moments, a bit of jealousy seeping into her. Whatever. I don't need a fancy motorcycle. That just wastes money anyway. Clove turned her head forward and started walking. Cafe, the kid mentioned a cafe. I'm starving so that's my best bet.

The red haired girl held her head high as she began walking along the side of the street. It had only been a few minutes and she was already unsure of this plan. "Where the hell is this stupid cafe anyway?" She muttered quietly, annoyed that she didn't know where she was going. I'll give it two more minutes and if I don't see a sign or anything I'm ditching this plan and hitting the nearest fast food joint I can find.

"One...you are a terrible liar so cut it...and two stop laughing...I know you are a host..." She tells him before walking back and forth. "From the looks of it...you are a green one...anyway...you two need to be careful around here...this place is filled with E.B.E.P. and if you get caught it's game over" She tells them her arms crossed her voice having a serious tone to it.

Caleb frowned slightly. A little rude, perhaps? He sighed but didn't protest anymore against Rin, figuring it wouldn't work anyways. If hosts were really so obvious, this whole running thing suddenly felt very discouraging. Caleb found himself wondering as he looked around the room at three other hosts- just how many people were infected? Well, then again, maybe he had seen some other hosts before but definitely not one with pink, yellow, or red eyes. He was admittedly curious as to what they were capable of, but he felt it might not be the time to ask that question. "Alright, so then who are you and what are you out to do? I mean, you could have just written it on a napkin or something and told us to get out of here, right?"

(I'm sorry- something came up and I wasn't able to respond for awhile.)
