Making my character now! ^^
I was thinking of having it be a flip compared to some others where they came out and got sent away by intolerant parents. My characters parents are in-fact accepting and my character's views/beliefs are controversial. (As a porential source of in-character conflict and future character development) but her reasons for having them are more emotional based than genuine. I love having more complex characters that grow and change over time ^^

@RIPSaidCone i did that with one of my character's parents just to switch it up a lil as well! one of my characters has exasperated intolerant parents, while the other's parents sent their kid there because it was in his best interests. (and he agreed). that sounds super interesting i can't wait to see tbh!! (like i have no idea what you're planning so i'm reaaaaaaaaally intrigued)
