One has surely heard of the Jade Rose, the Queen of Shanshilar? A Elf woman with countless songs dedicated to her beauty, her devilish charms, her voice more heavenly then a choir of angels...
The Jade Rose is not royalty by any means. But one would beg to differ if they saw how she lived. It's safe to say Shanshilar is its own world and the Queen is the Sun that all life spins around. The Jade Rose is a star, worshipped by many for her singing and dancing, earning ridiculous gold from the wealthiest people across the world, choosing who to grace with her presence providing the payment was suitable. The Jade Rose Queen frankly speaking, is a high class prostitute, a luxurious sex worker.
While she is famous and known of across the world, it is unknown to most that the Jade Rose has four children.
This story is about them.
Each with a different father, each one born on the same day on the eve of a new year. All having a role to play in the outcome of humanity and the world at large.
The Heir, the bastard prince of Stelmaine, the youngest.
The dying king of Stelmaine has three potential heirs, two born to the Queen of Stelmaine and one born to the Jade Rose raised on the island of Shanshilar. A male Between the ages of 16 and 20. a talented warrior with claim to the Stelmaine throne.
The Pirate captain, forgotten and free. 3rd born.
You're father was a legendary pirate with enough gold to visit the Jade Rose regularly. As a child you fell into the ocean and got swept away from Shanshilar.
That said a call to the ocean and piracy seems to be in your blood along with charisma and roguish skill. Male or female.
The Assassin, raised as a weapon without free will. 2nd born.
Your father was a bodyguard for a foreign king, upon learning of your existence said foreign king had you abducted as a baby and raised you cruelly.
It is only in recent years you left home onboard the Pirate captains ship.
Male or female.
Child of Shenanigans, a god became mortal and seduced the Jade Queen to raise children of fate. You are the first born child of fate... You've lived as you like on Shanshilar or further. Though recently you've heard voices from "god" with vague instructions.
Male or female.
These four are destined to change the world. The journey starts on the Shanshilar but the winds of fate points them at Stelmaine, kingdom of The Bastard Prince.

Each role has a arc/goal I'll imply or hint at in game. The easiest one to determine being the heir can try to become king or put who they think should be in charge of a kingdom.
The rest though is in game as this rp is a long term adventure/campaign in a medieval fantasy world of monsters and magic of my own imagination/inspirations from various fiction.
