Fantasy Children of the Dragons

"Name's Lydia. Lydia Ismenios." she said as tossed her lilac color over her shoulder. At least, all them could go to the asylum together. She laughed at her own pathetic joke. "So at least we have proof if we all heard it then we all aren't insane. That was nice and reassuring." She sarcasm laced in her last sentence.

"I'm Jyn. Jyn Solis. Yes, my hair is beautiful, I know. Now can someone please tell me what in the name of sweet buttery jesus is going on?" Jyn said, still wanting to believe he was in a dream, despite the the clarity of it all.

"I guess it's nice to finally meet you all." Ixen mumbled as he returned to his original spot. He sighed and tugged lightly at his hoodie strings as he looked over the faces of those in front of him, "So why the hell are we all still here, I mean there's nothing keeping us here right?" xen shook his head and turned slightly to begin walking away.

"Be patient child and all will be revealed. " The voice was back but this time it wasn't in his head it was outside and clear as day. Ixen turned around and noticed a blue mist swirling around the center of the clearing but it seemed to be taking form and soon a large celestial dragon was hovering slightly over the group looking down on them.

"What the hell..who are..no what are you? " Ixen scanned over the creature taking a few steps back in order to get a great view of it.

"My name is, Ikari child and I am here to guide you all on your journey through your new life." He looked around at them all noticing their confused expressions and sighed heavily as he lowered himself to look all of them in the eye. "Perhaps I should explain. You are all the reincarnated forms of the most powerful dragons in the universe, the true rulers of the world who werect once thought to be wiped out centuries ago and now it's time for you all to rise up from your slumber and take back what is rightfully yours." His gaze locked on each if them individually, he let out a soft growl before nodding. "I'll give you all a few minutes to talk about this before we continue any further. "

Ixen turned slowly facing the group, his heart was racing and his mind was trying to process everything. "So..what do you guys wanna do? Run or stay and hear what this guy has to say?"

Jyn raised his hand, clenched his fist, and promptly sucker punched himself in the gut. He doubled over and fell to his knees. Jyn wheezed several times, letting out small squeaks as if trying to say something. Eventually he was able to spit it out, barely. "Gh... Okay, so I'm not dreaming. Which means this is real. Which means... ghost dragons. Alright, who slipped the acid in my drink?"

Lysen smiled his dreamy smile at the form of the Dragon even as his mind buzzed with curiosity. He had always believed things like dragons had existed and here was a real Dragon in front of him. Sure he may not be alive but it could speak which meant it can answer questions. Feeling as though his questions will be answered soo Lysen turned toward the others and the current topic. "I wish to stay. The thought of being the reincarnation of a Dragon is very tempting. Plus, there are many questions I wish to ask. Like what happened to the dragons. "

Shawn was simply in shock. His whole life he never really beleved in things like dragons or ghosts. And yet he has been seeing one right before his eyes. Not only that but it was saying that he was a reincarnation of a dragon or something? This can't be real and yet as jyn just proved this isn't a dream. In all honesty he was terrified and actaully was thinking about running. Only to come to the realization that this dragon ghost thing could obvisously catch him. So he simply sighed and said "Fine I guess I will stay as well.". While he was still scared he was actually quite curious. After all if this isn't a trick and the this "thing" is telling the truth then Shawn would have to ask a whole lot of questions.

Avalon was speechless as her sharp gaze studied this misty dragon up and down with wonder and awe. She knew that she was conscious and sober, so this had to be real. "I mean either this is real or we're insane," she pointed out, directing her attention back onto the others. "And if we're insane, which we most likely are, then I guess there's nothing we can do but go along with our insanity." She couldn't shake off the feeling that this was her calling, her destiny. All her life she had bounced from foster home to foster home and she couldn't help but wonder if there was going to be more to her life, and this was it. She could feel it in her guts.

Danny was scratching his head confused as to why people were so trusting. He himself is guilty of the same thing, but not to something as crazy as this. He knew things would end up being very bad in his case, he already wasn't the ideal child the media wanted, and now he's some kind of reincarnated dragon? Things couldn't get much worse in his case.

"So it's official, I am officially tripping out. And apparently, I wasn't the only one who saw....all that" he said pointing and waving his finger at the spot the blue mist has appeared from.

"And let me get this straight real quick so I don't put any words into anyone's mouths. This so called.....Dragon, which I'm guessing was from an era where dragons were bountiful. What's us seven teenagers, to rightfully claim the world as ours?" He softly slapped his face to make sure he wasn't dreaming, it was an odd habit but it always worked.

He chuckled a bit seeing how all of this seemed so ridiculous "I'm guessing the so called Dragon is a bit naive on how the world works nowadays?" He said with a bit of sarcasm in his voice

Despite it all, he had an odd feeling to trust the dragon even though it all seemed ridiculous. And the fact that he actually felt some sort of connection to everyone really made him uneasy. His choice in the matter, would be answered in due time.

Avalon looked over at Danny with complete agreement. It was hard for her to trust people and she was very suspicious of strangers. But as logical as she was, she couldn't deny how real and connected she felt. "Look I feel the same way. My mind and my logic are screaming at me to get the hell out of here. But am I the only one who feels it in their guts?" she asked, looking at everyone. "I guess it's very possible that I might just be going insane."

What does it mean when I'm the only one that thinks this is all sane? Lysen idly thought listening to the others voice their thoughts. Sure, this wasn't normal but he wouldn't call it insane. "To be fair if this is the results of being insane I don't want to be sane. I doubt sanity would be as fun or potentially adventures. "

Jyn struggled to his feet, clutching his stomach, and coughing. "I suppose slapping myself would've been a better way of handling that. Anyway, do we really have a choice? I mean, it's a dragon. A ghost dragon, at that. If we decline he might... haunt us, I guess. I suppose that isn't too bad. How many people can say they're being haunted by a ghost dragon?" Jyn said, trailing off and going completely off topic.

Ixen sighed and shook his head at each of them. "Idiots..alright so we all agree that we're crazy and wanna hear what this guy has to say..whatever." He turned back to the dragon waiting quietly behind them "Alright old man we're all on board, so let's hear it."

Ikari sighed heavily before continuing. " You're all an interesting bunch I'll give you that much." His lifeless eyes beamed down on all of them as he spoke "The goal is simple take back the world of course that would require changing history itself but in return the entire world would be yours for the taking and you would all be worshiped as Gods and Goddesses, your deepest desires and dreams would become reality." He paused for a second reading deep into their souls "Money, Power, Freedom, and..for others there would be all the food you can eat and on the road to it all I would be there to guide you and train you through it all...now." He lowered himself to face them all directly. "Do you accept this offer, if not all will be erased from your memory and you will be free to resume a normal life but if you accept we will begin the journey now."

Ixen paused for a second, thinking back on what the dragon said and bringing his deepest desires to the surface..the offer was tempted but seemed a bit far fetched but if it meant getting away from here he'd gladly take it. "Fuck it I'm in." He smiled slightly and took a step toward the dragon patiently waiting to see if others would join him too.

(Once again I'm sorry for making you all wait. )
