Watching the Jets broadcast as they take on the Blackhawks and I believe this is one of the few times if not the first I’ve been able to catch a Jets team broadcast. Nice to see the Jets play though haven’t caught too many this season. But wow, tough break for Samberg and the crowds reaction after seeing the replay was audible and a shared feeling…. Oof definitely not where you want to take a puck shot.

Samberg took a unintentional shot towards goal into the cherries instead. Just a tad rough on the timing of his body turn while involved defending against another Blackhawk player that was near the net.

I decided to give it a shot simply out of curiosity and what not. No big deal either way. But my old PS3 is seemingly dead. My old PS4 won’t play PS3 games so guess I recalled that detail right before trying anyway. So my venture into NHL 14 and going back in time to the old days doesn’t appear possible at this time.

Aww that sucks. My old Xbox 360 officially died like a year or so ago so I’m in the same boat with having an old console that now won’t work anymore.

Since I can’t do NHL 14. I think I might pick a Rl player (Forward most likely) build a fitting player around that Nhl’er and start a be pro career in Europe and see where I land this time around.

Kings-Ducks has been chippy. I thought, it almost happened…. Copley-Gibson, a goalie fight looked legitimately possible in that second period. Just wow lol. It also looked like Gibson was feeling a bit left out and wanted to get some hands going tbh. Though I certainly could be wrong.

Same here. Haha. That would have been awesome and a rare sighting. Also heard some of the social media back and forth during the game after that scrum by the two teams media reps or whoever controls ther for each team. Good stuff. Ducks-Kings last night felt like a good ol California rivalry.

Absolutely lol. I’ve heard of some goalie fights and one most recent one I recall hearing about and saw a thumbnail of was Mike Smith-Oilers/Cam Talbot-Flames fight from however many years ago that it happened. (I think it was flames Talbot back then….) would love to see a goalie fight though for myself haha. Especially when it’s a rivalry game and feel going there.

Yeah haha, it’s too bad. Understandable why but still poor move. A lot of people seemed stoked by the potential goalie fight. Including PK Subban who was on the team calling or doing the intermission for Espn for the game lol.

Also- Man, more and more the respect grows for these Yotes. Love to see what they are doing even while having a Bedard watch kind of season record wise. So many quiet pick ups in the off-season and waiver grabs that are playing great for them and overall the team is awesome with the work ethic and play. A outstanding performance by Ingram in net vs the Bolts the other nigh that led to a Yotes W. A great comeback tonight to make 5-5 against the Kings (watching the game now) with Ot time remaining. Just a hard fought team to beat this year and even late into last year too.

The Coyotes are not having as bad of a season as everyone thought they would. It’s surprising. Good for them. They’ve kicked the Islanders’ asses the two times we have faced them.

Of all fights to miss lol… I should look it up on YT I’m sure it’s there somewhere haha. No doubts on the legendary status though. It’s the first one I hear about when goalie fights come up.

Agreed. Looking forward to their future once the hopeful rebuild works out and young prospects are ready to roll in helping Keller and company win more games. (FA wise too… But more so the prospects first.) But yeah better then people expected while getting the number of many teams this year. They got the Wild beat too this year. it’s 1-1 in two games this year and both were very close. A goal difference in both games. Flames have faced them once so far I believe and only won by a single goal.

Yeah hopefully. This stockpiling of picks and extended feel of a rebuild will and has gotta pan out or something done to ensure success. The new arena will be nice and a definite upgrade. College arenas aren’t made for NHL play. Plus everything I’ve somewhat heard, the Tempe arena should be really, really nice or least was made out to be.
