A week past and I ranked up and joined the academy as probably the youngest spirit wielder in history!!!! muahahahaha!!! and now Im gonna get my spirit ring. There is also a fight going on with the new guy and guess what?! we are roommates.

"Look! Retta!! Yuyao!! I made us a snack." Shizu giggles to himself but unknown to himself and Retta, there was beast chilling and stalking the radish spirits. A chameleon dissolves its camouflage on the tree reveals its presence inches above Shizu. It hisses wildly at the two girls and the rolls its tongue out towards the little boy.

A hiss drew Retta's attention away from Shizu. She turned, looking upwards to see a large chameleon type spirit beast just a few inches from Shinju. The beast's tongue soon came rushing out towards Shizu and, without thinking, Retta stepped in front of the tongue. In doing so, she also utilized her transformation, taking on a more bat-like appearance. The tongue hit her wing as she used it to shield herself and Shizu, but it easily knocked her back into the young boy. The two would likely fall over. Retta was sure Shinju would be able to stop this creature soon.

yea and shinju is hidden to everyone. I wouldnt make a big deal of it if it wasn't important to my later plot.
