Name: Evan Martelos

Race: Gorgon.
Program: Elemental Magecraft
Strengths: petrifying gaze, (curable with basilisk or gorgon saliva or magic), fairly agile, good at earth magic, a degree of shapeshifting that allows him to maintain a human form hiding his serpentine features.
Weaknesses: lack of understanding of personal space, his snake hair often gets in the way as does his long body, not very fast over long distances
List 3-5 general personality traits:
outgoing, extrovert, and frankly a bit annoying.
What makes you worthy of MAGE Academy?: he has a fairly potent knack for earth magic.
What is your dream?: frankly he'd like to be a sculptor of sorts, tho he's not too sure
What is your biggest fear?: accidental turning people to stone permanently
Anything else you’d like to share?: he has a snake-like habit of just swallowing stuff whole…

As for RPing itself, I would recommend skimming what has already been posted to get a feel for the world and how certain systems work. Then, build a situation for your character to enter, either involving or not involving the other characters, and enjoy! Oftentimes people begin with their characters away from the others if they are jumping in at a later time (for example, just now leaving a class) before moving into the scene where other characters are. Right now most of the characters are in the cafeteria, so you can either have Noelle jumping in there or write your own classroom scene! RP is a very freeform and character-driven type of writing so it's up to you where you start and how the story moves.

-the magic within her advanced her already incredible eyesight. She can see through fog, smoke, and haze as well as in detail from far distances
-she can fly by sprouting her wings or with the help of wind magic
-her talons are razor sharp and retractable
-she's a strategist that works very well with others
-she has very high stamina

-struggles with long range combat, and fighting in general unless she's desperate
-she's incredibly passive and struggles to stand up for herself

However, her lack of aggression caused her to be deemed as 'weak' and 'pathetic' to the point where she's been targeted to be assassinated by those who believe they can steal her magic this way. For her safety, and to hopefully toughen her up, her parents sent her to MAGE Academy as her being a magic Harpy drew the academy's attention.
What is your dream?: To bring about as much peace as possible. Also, to prove to her homeland that she can be strong while still retaining her kindness.
What is your biggest fear?:
-mummies
-spider webs
-being restrained/captured
-failure
-being a burden
Anything else you’d like to share?:
Kiva's good at sports, especially basketball and soccer. She also can't stand being in the spotlight. She'll do whatever she can to give credit to everyone but herself. The front part of her hair also perks up like the feathers of a harpy eagle when she's startled or feels threatened, so she often wears a headband to keep it down or a crown when she can to keep it up.

Maxwell is gifted in all six elements, like all members of the royal family. His strongest is Earth, followed by Water, but he can wield all with relative ease.
He is gifted in many forms of swordplay, having learned them at a young age from the Captain of the Royal Guard, his Uncle Fervian. His favored weapon is a rapier or a shortsword.
Maxwell has access to the Royal Library, where certain magic books and spells are kept as a closely guarded secret. Thus, he knows much more than the public has access to, including some forbidden magiks.
Weaknesses:
Maxwell cannot use more than two elements at a time, despite the strongest in the royal family reportedly being able to wield all six at once.
He has asthma, so prolonged physical activity or magikal exertion can cause him to have an attack.

-Hexyl has immense knowlege of Aesthetics and Human Anatomy.
-Hexyl has more control of the Darkness and Fire element.
-Is capable of most vampric abilities but slightly weakened.
-Knows how to access the place where dead people go.
Weaknesses:
-Due to being Half Vampire, Hexyl has to drink human blood once a month or he will be unalive. His biggest supplier is Hiroto.
-Very weak under the sun.
-Awake mostly at night and has gone slightly nocturnal. Can be a good thing or a bad thing.
-Unsocialble and withdrawn on accident. Tends to draw people away as a habit.

hey is it cool if I edit my character's side program and change it to Meteorology? I feel like it makes more sense since it deals with the weather and it can be better tied to magic via elements and stuff.
