Just wanted to see what you guys thought of this character. It's for a rp that I'm in that hasn't started yet.

Kinetikinesis (Kinetic Energy Manipulation) - He can control and manipulate kinetic energy. Pretty much what this means is he capable of making things go faster and harder. He can also make things go slower. He can also release kinetic energy as a sort of concussive blast.
Audiokinesis (Sound Manipulation) - He can change and shape sound waves. This leads to a wide variety of effects such as silence footsteps, creating sonic blasts, or changing the sound of something.
Drawback(s): Since energy cannot be created or destroyed, if he increases something's kinetic energy, he has to use up some of his energy. If he decreases something else's kinetic energy, that energy must be put somewhere else. Let's say he throws a punch, but makes it so that it obliterates a 5 foot thick brick wall, he's gonna be spent. He would also probably need to eat or drink something with a lot of carbs because he is gonna be very, very tired. Also, let's say someone throws something at him and he just stops it by getting rid of it's kinetic energy. He's gonna have to increase the kinetic energy of something else. He could increase his metabolism for a short period of time, he could make someone walk faster, but it's got to go somewhere. If it goes to his bodily functions, he's gonna start sweating profusely because his body would start just going faster. Jack is not immune to burst eardrums and hearing loss. If he creates a sound loud enough to hurt someone else, it's gonna hurt him. He can shape the sound wave so that it goes in a certain direction, but he can't mitigate all the damage. He also can't make something extremely quiet become extremely loud.

Personality: Jack is a character. He is likable and good-natured, but he is constantly getting in trouble with his teachers and other authority figures. He always wears a smile, even when he's getting his ass chewed, and the people doing the ass chewing hate it. The ass chewee loves it. He is very outgoing and makes friends with nearly everyone. Despite all the trouble he gets into, he has excellent grades even though he's always spending time screwing around. He prefers not to be by himself, so he's constantly hopping through different friend groups and you can usually expect him to be anywhere but his house. He doesn't tolerate bullies at all, he gets his fair share of bullying, but hates it more when someone else is being bullied. Jack is pretty insecure. He feels like no one takes him serious, and he longs for a serious relationship with someone.

Growing up, he was surrounded by music. His dad was the drummer for his own band. They weren't very well known, just a local band that played local venues and opened local concerts. His mom was a music theory teacher at the local community college. So naturally, he developed a large interest in music. Mainly the blues and rock genres. He joined his school band in middle school and played the Trumpet. It was also the year that he got his first girlfriend and first kiss. Her name Sylvia, and she was everything to him. He loved her, and thought she loved him. On her birthday, he decided to surprise her. He went to her house so that he could play her Happy Birthday on his trumpet. He thought that she'd like it, and was excited. When he knocked on the door, some guy answered. Jack was taken aback and asked who he was. The boy answered that he was Sylvia's boyfriend. Jack was at first confused. The boy asked him who he was, but Jack just said that he had gone to the wrong house. Dejected, he went back home. From then on, he had trouble talking to girls that he had feelings for. He was scared of rejection. In 7th grade, he picked up the guitar, and everything seemed to just resonate with him. His first guitar was bought for him for his birthday. It was a Squire Stratocaster HSS. It was candy apple red, and had a black pickgaurd. It's neck was Indian Laurel. He also got a cheap Fender practice amp and everything else he would need. He loved it, and he would spend hours with his guitar every day. Later that year, he decided to do the talent show. He assembled some friends and formed a band, which they named Sonik Bliss. Jack was the lead singer and lead guitarist of their band. Besides him, there were only two other members. A bassist and a drummer. The song they decided to play was White Room by Cream. Now there is something important that needs to be known. Jack had gone through very many amps and speakers, because he played so loud. He like to play loud, he liked the sound it made when he pushed his amp to the limit. When the talent show came, he was so psyched. He couldn't wait to get out there and show everyone what he had. That didn't happen. It started out great but in the middle of the song, his amp blew out. And when I say blew out, I mean blew out. It was obliterated. It had actually blown up and sent bits of it flying everywhere. It critically injured his drummer, who was closest to the amp, but everyone else was fine. Now Jack was really confused. He didn't know why the hell this was all happening, he just wanted loud music, not broken speakers. Jack was determined to find out what was going on. He knew that it wasn't coincidence he kept breaking these speakers, and the talent show proved all of that. Jack didn't show up for school the next week. His parents didn't mind, they just thought he was embarrassed because of what happened. In reality, he was just trying to figure out what was happening. Then a thought popped into his head. A crazy one, but a thought. He grabbed his guitar, plugged into his practice amp (he did his best to keep this one alive so he could fall back on it if need be), and set the amp at about half volume. Then he played a chord. Everything was normal. Jack played the same chord again, but this time told it to be louder. It was crazy, but it actually came out louder. It was impossible, he was making it louder with his mind. Excited, he ran downstairs to show them what he had just discovered. His parents were confused, and then a light bulb clicked in their head. That's why Jack was loud all the time. They told him about how he was an unusually loud baby, and it was just like he was hit with a wave of confused excitement. The next week he was at school, he was very upbeat, which was surprising to his classmates. Something put him off though. Everyone he talked to seemed distant. People seemed to be avoiding him. He was confused as to why, it's not like they knew about his ability. When school got out, his teacher told him to go to the office, the principal wanted to talk to him. When he got to the office, the principal called him to his office. When he walked in, some guy in a black suit closed the door. The principal explained that these men were here to take him to a special education center. They were impressed with his grades and wanted him to attend their school. Jack was skeptical, they didn't exactly look like people who wanted to recruit him for a school. They looked people who wanted to take him to a government facility. Jack told them that he was good and just walked out of the room. No one stopped him, and he was glad. However, when he stepped out of the school building, two guys jumped out and grabbed him. Jack freaked out of course. Who wouldn't freak out. He thrashed and thrashed desperately. He got an arm free and threw an elbow at one of them in the stomach. The guy doubled over and clutched at his stomach. He was then able to wriggle out of the other guy's grip and he took off. After running for a bit he stopped because he felt extremely tired. He looked back over at the school, but was surprised to see that there was no school. He had ran so far that he couldn't see the school anymore. So now he could run fast too. He got home without being jumped. He told his parents what had happened, and of course were worried, but decided they couldn't do anything about it. They did however pull him out of school and homeschool him for his 8th grade year. It was during his 8th grade year that his parents received an invitation letter from Diamond Academy. The letter said that their son, Jack, was invited to their school. They said the school would educate him in all of your normal common core classes, but also help train and master your abilities. When they told Jack, he was ecstatic. They moved to Wyoming and enrolled him into Diamond Academy. In his first year there, he discovered that he not only could manipulate sound waves, but also kinetic energy. That was what made him run so fast.
