How`s it going RP nation!


When ever i need an anime-like character for any RPs but don`t feel like trolling around with Google images i usually just use this site (http://www.dreamself.me/clothes.php?action=view&id=0) to create one and save myself some time!


the site really comes in handy when trying to present a character with darker skin tones as there are very few pictures of anime blacks available (no racism intended) but the site only creates chibi characters and i`m not sure if RP nation is quite fond of chibis or not.


so. does anyone here have any other good character creation sites that may be usefull in RPs?
 
If I can't find a good picture, I can always edit one...


If I can't edit one I'll just put a detailed description.

(I do however save images onto my hardrive when I see one that might be useful one day, and upload them when I find a good opportunity to use it)
 
Sometimes I find it hard to use anime characters unless I really need that dark-looking guy or girl and I don't know where else to look for ideas. Mostly I use a picture of an actress or actor as a basic idea and put all their descriptions and accessories on in the RP. I can never find a very good avatar maker to make it easier. D:
 
Although I wouldn't personally recommend generators to build an entire character, using it to establish an aspect and build from there can be nifty. I will often use this site to come up with names. Usually I'll find an image I like and draw appropriate characters from there, though.
 
I usually use Zerochan to find anime images. You can search for certain traits(ex: hair color, weapons, scars, solo) easier than on google. If I'm really stumped I use tumblr, but you get so many results that aren't what you want that it's sometimes not worth it.

Hmm, In the past I've tended to look through my computer, I have huge picture folders if I have something in mind that I remember, otherwise I more often than not tend to use a description, because I find it takes em less time to write it out than it would be to edit one of them.
 
Since I prefer not to use anime picture, I use this site. The owner takes requests if you need a certain character and updates often.


Also, this isn't a site, but I've noticed that some people on the several rping sites I've been a member of have trouble creating a detailed, life-like character. When I create a new character, I go by this guideline so that he/she is as realistic as I can make. It can take awhile, and I don't always answer every question, but it has helped me improve greatly from where I was when I first started rping years ago.
