He runs a hand through his hair and shoots the interviewer a grin. "I'm a handsome little chocolate drop." He loses his composure and starts to laugh at himself. "Naahhh seriously I'm alright I guess."

"Yeah I know... It's honestly how I cope with being in my situation. The other kids like it and it's fun so I do what I can to make everyone smile." He looks down to the table a little lost in his own reflection.

"I like playing and excercising kickball and running is a good way to go about it. I also like to eat and strum on my guitar I got from mom. The others like my tune too."

"I don't like bullies and I don't like liars. Simple right!"

What is your character’s name?
The young girl sat across from you on a chair much too big for her, legs swinging gently as she waited for this asinine questioning to be over. It never amounted to anything...
"Vera. No need for a last name since it'd be changed anyways."

What gender is your character?
"I'm female." Vera replied with no small amount of sass, as if to indicate that was too obvious a question.

How old is your character between 6 to 12?
She paused slightly before answering. "... Eleven."

What is your character’s number?
Her fingers ghost over the back of her neck, a strange look on her face before the moment passes she returns her gaze to you. "It's #042083."

What type is your character?
"Mental." She tapped the front of her skull lightly, smirking. "I'm smaaaart." The sassy side of her revealing itself again.

What power do they have?
The confident attitude from before all but vanished as Vera sat back in the chair, her little frame seeming even smaller. "Y-you won't tell Mama right? Please..."
She appears so earnest that it's hard to believe she's the same girl from just a few moments ago. Only after securing the promise not to tell does she open up again. Instead of telling however, Vera decided to show- moving a fountain pen ever so slightly across the table. You breathe out the word 'Telekinesis' and she nods, obviously still wary for having revealed such a secret. "I can't really move anything big. I've been practicing lifting some of the stray cats around here but it's really hard..."

What does your character look like?
Now back in her realm, Vera shrugged as she tucked stray strands of hair behind her right ear. "Normal? I guess."

What is your character’s personality?
You notice that Vera is surprisingly well adjusted despite having been an orphan all her life. She is obviously very intelligent and generally good-natured albeit a bit too clever and facetious for her own good. She is assertive and confident when she feels comfortable though withdraws when she isn't in control of the situation.
She has difficulty answering this question however, mostly shrugging and saying "I don't know" when asked to speak about herself.
Trying something different you ask her about an incident just a few days ago in which she pushed a younger child a little too hard during a game of Tag. Vera's eyes cut away and sucks her teeth, clearly annoyed by the incident. "We were just playing and he barely got a scratch so what's the big deal? Mama already gave me an earful about that." When pressed further about it, you suggesting that she had a reason to push the child Vera sighed and continued, revealing more of her true feelings. "They still have hope, still have a chance to be adopted. Me? I'm already eleven, if no ones wanted me by now they never will." She is clearly bothered by the fact that she hasn't been adopted yet, perhaps even jealous and resentful of the younger children. But she clearly cares for them as she was the one to carry the child inside herself, revealing that she feels guilt and a need to make things right.

What do they like?
Vera prattled off a list of things she liked from cats,lo-fi music, adventure books to cheese puffs, video games and climbing trees. She has a wide variety of interests but absolutely gushes about books. "It's like escaping to a different world. I wish some of them were real ya know?"

What do they dislike?
"Being reprimanded, compared against others and found lacking, being in the wrong, failing a test, insects" - the list seems to go on really so you stop Vera mid-sentence.

What children games or talents are they the best at?
"Hide and Seek! God, the little ones are so bad at it." Vera giggled, fondness for the younger children bringing an eye wrinkling smile to her eyes. "But I can find pretty much anyone. Even -rival's name- though they give me the biggest challenge."

"I guess tag. I'm not the fastest and I don't like losing..."

"The names Blake!" he says with a big goofy grin.

Blake rolls his eyes and laughs. "That's a weird question? I'm obviously a girl" he says sarcastically. "Oh...you're serious? I'm a boy...at least I hope so or mama is going to have to explain somethings." he says with a laugh.

"I'm twelve!" he says crossing his arms. "I'm a man now."

Blake leans back in the chair and eyes the interviewer suspiciously. He grabs a pen and paper and begins to write on it. When he turns it around a the word physical is written on it. "You better not tell anyone...especially mama."

"Lets just say I am really good at tag." (Speed)

Blake shrugs at the question. "I don't know. I'm a kid so I am a bit loud and rambunctious at times. Unlike the other children I really enjoy learning in school. I watch over the other kids and make sure the are learning and doing things right. The other kids will tell you I'm funny and a bit of a goofball, but I have no idea what they are talking about" he laughs.

What do they like?
"I'm not sure...my main focus is to help the other children in the orphanage. I do like doing puzzle and making the other children laugh. I want to make sure mama doesn't have too much on her so I try to help her which makes me happy I guess.”

What do they dislike?
"I dislike secrets. I mean we are family so why hide things from each other?”

IKingI "Cason is a bit too full of himself for my liking. However we do get along well especially playing games since we are so close in age. I don't talk to him much though. I would like to get to know him better!"

Everskold "I get the feeling Vera doesn't like me. I try to be nice, but I think I just get on her nerves. I like her though! She's good friends with Cason, so as long as those two are friends I'm happy for her. We are both around the same age so maybe that's why we don't get along." He shrug unsure.

Natural Flavour "Amara is a very interesting girl. She is super serious...(too serious for my liking), so at first I wasn't sure how to present myself to her. The biggest thing I know about her is that she really likes hugs, so I give her one every chance I get. I hope to find more things that make her happy!"

Hella Downweather " Me and Zoe have always had a close bond. We are both people that try to make the other children happy so we make a very good team. She hangs around me a lot which concerns me, because I want her to be with other children her age. It still nice to have her around though. Makes me feel like I am actually helping the other kids."

AlluringRose "I really look up to Aadine. She is younger than me, but I feel like I can go to her and tell her something and she won't judge me for it. There's time at the orphanage I get overwhelmed, especially being one of the oldest kids. There are somethings we don't agree with, but for the most part we get along."

Amyleii "Amy is awesome to play with! She never gets hurt and is super fun. One time someone kicked at ball right into her face and she didn't even cry. I always try to say hi to her when I can."

Lunar "Um...Alice use to scare me, but I think she is a very cool girl. She stays to herself a lot, but I think I'm slowly breaking down her walls. Sometimes I will sit with her at breakfast and lunch, so we can talk about bugs. I don't like it, but she seems very entertained by it, so I don't mind listening. That's as far as are friendship is right now."

Electricity. Amara explains that sometimes if another child makes contact with her they'll get a tiny shock. Just the kind like you get when you get off the trampoline and such. If her electricity gets too high, though, she could seriously harm someone. She can't turn it off, only alter it's levels. Picking up a paperclip on the table, Amara puts it between her two fingers, and then concentrates. A small crackling noise is heard, and then Amara puts the paper clip in the palm of her hand. The tip that she was holding is now blackened and warped. "See?"

What is your character’s personality?
Amara is a very serious child. Not incredibly smart or anything, but serious. Not much makes her excited, but she does enjoy physical touch like hugs. She is quiet and doesn't talk much to people. She's just a little bit shy, but doesn't like to spend time with people. She just doesn't say much.

What do they like?
Hugs, people wanting to be around her, the feeling of being electrocuted,

Demanding people, people who never stop talking, pranks,

Hide and seek. She is very quiet and knows all the best places to hide.

What is your character’s name?
It was her turn on the chair, the one that was wayyyy too big for her. But it made her feel like a big girl, and Zoe couldn't wait to be like her older sisters at the Orphanage. She sat proudly, giving you a smile full of teeth before answering :

-I'm Zoe ! Nice to meet you.

-I am a girl. See ! I have long hair and a dress.

-I'm seven and TWO months !

-Humm....hummm...If I turn around could you see ? I don't have a mirror so I can't see...

She squirms around on her chair, trying to give you a full view of her number without falling. It's 067754.

-Mama told me I'm smart, and I'm able to count to 100 !

She looks around, a bit nervous.

She waits a bit, before saying :

-Sometimes...I can feel when people are reallyyyyy sad, or angry. So I try to go to them and cheer them up and become silly ! Silly Zoe is reallyyyyy good at making faces ? Do you want to see ?

She then proceeds to stick out her tongue while dragging her hands to her face. Not that impressive but it does the trick.

-Hum...I like people ! I like to play with people a loooot. And help Mama. I'm a very helpful girl. If I stay alone for too long I can realllyyyyy lonely, and sad. So I try to play with the six year old to keep them occupied. I also like to study and read ! Because it makes Mama happy, and I like making people happy. I'm also afraid of the dark ! And of spiders...but that doesn't count because every girl is afraid of spiders.

-I like all the big sisters and big brothers at the Orphanage ! I like eating desserts and drawings and reading and playing outside !

What is your character’s name?
"My name is Aadina! Aadina means 'delicate'", she said as she gave a slight wave at you and a giggle, as if she knew her name didn't really seem to fit her. Bouncing and fidgeting in her chair, the girl stared up at you with excitement in her eyes.

What gender is your character?
"I'm a girl and it's great!," she exclaimed in her soft voice as she twirled her hair in her fingers and touched the flower crown she had made a few moments prior.

How old is your character between 6 to 12?
Aadina threw up nine fingers and grinned in joy before shouting, "Nine! ...I'm happy to be growing up. It means I can help around the house more and help take care of the younger ones." Her lips stretched out into a sad smile. She looked at the ceiling and sighed. "I'm already nine...and I don't know if I'm ever going to get adopted. I'm a bit scared that no one wants me, but I'm happy because the orphanage is also my home and my family is here," she chuckled out, already trying to look on the positive side of it all.

Aadina slowly turned around, her dainty fingers brushing aside her hair and showcasing the back of her neck and number. "My number is 6660123," she murmured with less excitement this time.

She placed a small finger on her chin and gave a look that indicated her mind was processing what was asked of her, before slowly what she thought was the right answer, "I think... I'm the physical type."

What power do they have?
The moment the question was asked, the girl's eyes widened just a tiny bit and hinted just a bit of fear. Her small trembling hands gripped the edge of the wooden table in front of her. The sound of wood splintering filled the room as she carefully whispered, "I'm just a bit strong..., but please don't let Mama know!" Taking her hands off the table, she winced as she started trying to pull out the small wooden sticks embedded in her palm.

What does your character look like?
Aadina leaned forward in her chair, placing her elbows on the table and her palms on the sides of her face. Her bobbed brown hair framed her unmarred face and bounced fluidly with every movement she made. Brown eyes danced and glowed with personality. She looked up at you and pulled her delicate lips into a small, feminine and delicate smile. Silence ensued and she didn't seem to think that anything needed to be said. You were looking right at her, after all.

"I think I'm a really nice and caring girl! I love making new friends and I love my family here at the orphanage. I'm really girly, but I really love playing sports and getting dirty in the mud too. I really love life and I'm really happy to have been born," Aadina laughed and giggle happily, as if the fear she had prior and her hand didn't seem to matter anymore. She plucked the pretty flower crown off her head before stretching her arms out to you. "Here! You can have this!," she grinned, placing the crown on top of your head.

Standing up, the girl danced and twirled around you while she spoke as if she was having the time of her life describing to you what she loved about her life and this world, "I really love flowers and making them into pretty arrangements! I love the color pink and white. I love clothes, even though we can't choose what we wear here, so I just imagine them and draw them on paper! I love my stuffed animals, especially my bunny named Hopkins! I just really love cute and happy things!"

Sitting down, she noticeably shivered at the question and shook her head at the image inside her mind. "Mmm, I don't really have much I dislike, except maybe spiders and the dark," she breathed out, a bit of slight fear eating at her. Then suddenly, her brown eyes flashed in determination as she steadied her voice and said, "And I don't like the people I love getting hurt."

"I'm really good at throwing rocks," she squealed, moving her arm in a motion that looked as if she was throwing an imaginary rock. "And also singing, but if I had to choose one, I'd say singing!," Aadina said while she hummed in her seat.

Making a disgusted face, Aadina shook her head at the idea of the thing she's most bad at and groaned out, "Chess, but I still at least try really hard."

What is your name?

The kid looks preoccupied, staring at a cockroach in the corner of the room as you ask this question. "Alice." She answers solemnly, her red eyes following the insect as it skitters up the wall.

The girl squints her eyes and clenches her teeth as she stares down the cockroach. "Female." She replies, continuing her brevity.

How old are you?

Alice puffs out her cheeks and grunts, still bidding most of her attention to the bug that is now on the ceiling. She holds up both of her hands, signing the number "10" at you.

The child hops up on her chair and squats as she begins chewing on her thumb. In response to your question, she turns her head revealing the back of her neck, "200008"

After a few more moments of intense glaring, she outstretches her hand towards the bug and whispers, "Mental."

What power do they have?

"Yes!" Alice yells as she closes her eyes and breaths in deeply. The cockroach suddenly flies off of the ceiling, doing several spins and flips through the air. As Alice controls the bug, you scratch down on your notes. "Mind Control..." As you look back up, the bug flies straight into the blades of the fan that is sitting on your desk, causing the bug to splatter. "Aw..." Alice pouts, opening her eyes.

What is your character’s personality?

You open her packet and search through countless papers until you find her 'Counselling' file.

Dr. [REDACTED], Psychologist.

'#200008, "Alice" is proving to be quite an interesting child; Her quiet nature makes her very easy to work with, though at times she seems to be stuck inside her own head. She has an abnormal obsession with bugs and often seems to intently stare at them, oddly causing them to act...erratically. (Though it is unknown to me as to why, i'm sure we will uncover this phenomena in sessions to come.)

You scan through more papers, finding her drawings. Most of them contain bugs, though a few have sketches of her playing games with the other orphans. This strikes you as odd because she has never been observed interacting with the others, perhaps she is just shy?

A few more glances at her drawings reveal a scary beast that resembles a Nun. Odd.

From what her file says, Arts and Crafts seems to be all she does in her free time.

What is your character’s name?
The boy sighed lightly, lifting his emerald green eyes to meet yours in a firm stare.
"They call me Zion, or Zi for short. It's a weird name, but I like it." He shrugged, nonchalantly.

What gender is your character?
Zion scoffed, "Isn't it obvious?" He shook his head but replied anyway. "I'm a boy."

"Twelve." The boy replied boredly.

"Pfft. I could tell you even in my sleep." Zion bragged, leaning back in his chair.

Zion perked up with sudden interest, leaning forward and clasping his hands together in his lap.
"Mental, of course."

Zion's demeanour changed as shock crossed his face, quickly replaced with confusion. He glanced around before returning his gaze to you.
"I don't know how you found out about that, but this stays between us, alright?" He asked, or more like demanded.
He cast his eyes to the ground and silence befell the room for a moment before he glanced back up.
"In a very real sense, we have two minds, one that thinks and one that feels." The boy riddled, his eyes gleaming, hoping that you would figure it out for yourself.

The boy looked beyond unimpressed.
"Mama always taught me not to be rude but.. are you blind?" He questioned, shaking his head. "I'm right here."

What is your character’s personality?
Zion can be slightly reserved at times and is a very deep thinker. He tends to ponder over things for a lot longer than any other child his age would and is not afraid to question things. Zion is confident in himself and perhaps a little authoritative over the orphans in Mama's absence. He is very strategic with his thinking and is the type of person to think before he acts instead of charging into situations rashly. Despite seeming cold and rude, Zion is very fond of the other children. He is fiercely protective of them and is generally quite approachable. Zion is patient and can be wise beyond his age. Despite seeming like an adult sometimes, he knows when to have fun, often engaging himself in creative games with the other orphans.

What do they like?
Zion grinned boyishly, "I like to read LOTS of books, playing with the other kids and conducting my experiments outside." He replied.
"My latest experiment was on ants. I wanted to see their Queen, so I lay a bit of food outside and watched them take bit by bit and they led me right to her." He announced proudly. "I squashed her though. It was an accident, honest! But then I figured that would be interesting to see how they elect a new Queen ya'know? Is it a democratic decision or what?"

What do they dislike?
"Sometimes, the kids can be really dumb when they don't understand things the way I do. But it's probably just because of their age." Zion shrugged nonchalantly.
"Other than that, I don't like being interrupted when reading, when 'play time' is over, getting sick.."

"I'm great at most things but the one's that I'm best at would be at puzzles and board games and generally anything involving problem-solving."
