Laughs, warmth, excitement, fear. These emotions flooded a dimly lit hall in a prestigious academy known as Beacon. The shattered moon shined through the large windows, but even it's light could not compete with the light in the eyes of so many soon to be students. This was the day before the dreaded Initiation. No one knew what was going to happen that day but they could dream. The experimental group was scheduled to go earlier then the other soon to be students. All who signed up for this program were given many benefits so many took the opportunity. Plus they could change how Beacon worked forever. They of course were also in the room with the other admission students but they had a separate area to themselves to indicate that they were going to be woken up sooner then the others. These few were in for a wild ride, as their initiation was not like the others, funny enough they saw a 6 foot 8 inch hairy faunus trudge by the doorway earlier complaining of losing a bet and having to take part in an initiation. There was no way he was going to be a chess piece so they could connect the dots and assume he meant theirs. The headmaster must have been a bit odd to make a student be the object they had to get. Then again, these students knew very little of the headmaster. Just all the bad things people said about him.

Mostly about how his old team was comprised of a deserter, a bounty hunter and a murderer. Sion Yeger was a name that stuck to Flint for years. How could he not see a monster on his own team. How could he not see Lockjaw, one of the most infamous villains currently in Vale. Just when Flint had the opportunity to kill the beast he hesitated and let him go. Some say Lockjaw was killed, other say he still roams remnant. Whatever the case, he has not been seen for many years, and through those years Flint is still blamed for him. Other then what the news say about Flint, his students regard him as funny and easy going. They say he is a bit of a drunk but he means the best. But many were not there for him, they just wanted to save the world. Even if he lead the school and he got a bad rep it did not mean the school got that same reputation. The school trained students amazingly and it had some incredible staff at it. Plus it was closely watched over by Carmine Falcone, so it was in good hands...

The students now were settling into sleeping bags and chatting it up with other students. The chatter was nice, it drowned out the fears and thoughts of the next day. This would make or break certain students. What a rough thing to think about but it was true. All these people from different backgrounds suffering together in one place was calming. They had a few hours before lights out and were free to wander the halls and chat up with fellow students. Not much could go wrong here, for their real lives had yet to begin.

Satochi's face was buried in a book as he wandered the ballroom, being careful not to step on anyone who was already in their sleeping bag. He adjusted his heavy glasses with his free hand a slightly they slid down his nose. His father recommended that he go get eye surgery, but Sato wanted to feel unique. "The first ever blind Hunter," he'd call himself, grinning at the thought. Sato wasn't exactly blind, but his eyesight was so bad that he had to learn how to use a blind stick while he was young before getting his glasses. He glanced up to scan the room, searching for potential teammates.

Leise had stars in her eyes as she stared up at the wonderful chandelier, eyes roaming to the rest of the ballroom that acted as the initiates’ temporary bedroom. This ballroom was the fanciest place she ever stepped into, and the wonder still hadn’t abated. Still, she kept her eye out for troublemakers that would cause her problems and also an eye for her belongings. It wouldn’t do if her stuff went missing after all. Currently, she was simply walking around, taking note of the expensive stuff around her, trying to calm her nerves for tomorrow’s initiation. Her eye caught someone interesting, a guy walking around while his attention was in his book. She pulled out her scroll, typed, and let the text-to-speech app do its magic added with her practiced charming smile. “Usually, when I read, it’s in a place where I won’t trip over people.”

The winged Faunus stood at the edge of the ballroom; heart beating a million miles a minute. Though that was something she wasn't really willing to admit, preferring to be seen as strong and confident. Something that would probably easily crack in front of other more social-savvy students. In her hands was a fancy little thing. A piece of technology that was just one of the many things that had awed her since arriving at this prestigious school. They called it a 'scroll'. It was a marvelous little thing. It had taken the girl awhile to figure it out. Opened, now, to the face of her mother.

"Mom, tomorrow is initiation! I can't believe I'm here. I can't believe how incredible everything is! Beacon is more than what I could possibly have imagined! Right now they have us in the ballroom, and it's the single most beautiful room I've ever seen!"

"Yeah, yeah, Beacon's pretty grand all right. Alicia, remember, be brave. I might not have been too keen on all this... but remember, I believe in you."

Alicia's cheeks turned slightly pink. "I'm fine mom, really."

The face of her mother contorted with a smirk of disbelief. "Really now? This is the first time you're around so many people at once; I'd imagine you are bursting with anxiety, my little pigeon."

Alicia pouted ever so slightly. "N-no, mom. I'm not nervous. Honest."

"Oh, really? You're not nervous?"

"N-no! O-of course not!"

"Heh. Your voice is cracking." It was obvious to her mother that Alicia was, in fact, quite nervous. She knew her daughter to always speak with as much poise and confidence as she could muster. Not to mention her daughter always came at things with a level of overt formality that bugged the woman. When the girl stammered it was pretty obvious she was out of her comfort zone. Alicia's mother sighed on the other side of the screen. She couldn't shake the feeling that this was a bad idea; letting her daughter go off and attend Beacon, so far from home. "Anyway, darling, remember to train-"

"-every day!" she interrupted, which was an oddity for Alicia, clearly showing her enthusiasm for this new undertaking.

"-Ahh..hem, y-yeah, every single day. Remember to make friends. Remember to pay attention. I know it'll be hard at first, but I have faith in you my little pigeon." The woman purred softly on the other end, her face lighting up with a warm smile that rarely crossed it. "I'm.. speaking from experience here. I made mistakes myself..-"

"-I know, mom. I promise I'll do my best, don't worry." Alicia interrupted yet again.

Her mother grinned, shaking her head. How could she even expect anything else from her daughter? "Heh, right right, I don't doubt it. Alright, Alicia, it's late, get some rest and take care."

"Bye mom, mmwa, miss you,"
Alicia kissed at the screen, in a rare instance of informal farewell.

"Mwa. Oh, and kick some ass, little pigeon," her mother ended it, winking as the call shut off.

Alicia pouted a little, but pushed the scroll closed. Looking up, she observed the ballroom. There were kids around, some already asleep, others chatting. Others were standing around off by themselves, clearly stopped by their own nervousness. Alicia didn't want to be one of those kids. She wanted to meet some people and make friends! Like her mother said she should do. Her light blue eyes tried to find someone who seemed the best to talk to.

Joshua had entered the ballroom a little while ago and had already set up his sleeping bag in a nice corner of the room. Despite this, he was simply reading a book while sipping on some decaffeinated coffee. Both Allison and Lydia had chided him for this new habit he picked up, but he couldn't care less, it was a nice pick me up despite containing no caffeine. Looking up for a moment from his book, he noticed three different people walking around. The first two, a bespectacled guy and one girl who seemed to use text to speech a lot had met up and the girl had started the conversation. The other girl was a Faunus no doubt by the wings on her back, but she seemed nervous as she was looking around. Her eyes met Joshua's as he decided that he would go and talk with her. Putting down his book, Joshua stood up to his full height and began to walk over to her. Once he reached her, he held out his hand and spoke calmingly, "hello, I'm Joshua."

The young woman nearly bounced with each step she ventured back into the ballroom. Each step for the girl seemed to have a spring in it as she wandered in. A rather nice violet dress head to her frame, nicely accenting her curves. The top cut of several inches below her waist leading down to her rather nice long black pants. Her long Lavender hair flowed down her back stopping just over halfway down. Her choice of an outfit seemed less fitting of that of a huntress at the moment though not quite someone who was ready to get in a sleeping bag and get some sleep. She didn't seem very ready to sleep either with the bright smile on her face as she curiously looked around showing so much excitement behind her. So many others like her, not to mention quite a few cute guys too! It really was much better then she thought and it would only get better from there. She was more then certain to have such fun there!

Lilly's eyes ventured over, glancing over at one guy who seemed preoccupied by a book, huffing a little in response. Boring.... She could only think looking at the book. She didn't tend to get along very well with textbooks. Academics wasn't her strong suit t say the least. She had to admit though the girl who approached him seemed quite interesting as she made her scroll talk for her for some reason. Ooo, maybe its because she thinks the book is contagious... if she talks it would cause her to breath in the air and she will be infected with reading itis? That would be horrible! Though... that does seem pretty silly. Maybe its like doing some sort of bit, that could be it.... though seems weird to make that your thing... ah well not reason getting preoccupied thinking about that sort of stuff its probably none of that. She shook her head dismissing her admitted silly thoughts. She had a rather bad habit of purposely over-thinking things, perhaps more so for the sake of entertainment.

Her eyes couldn't help but glance over at a rather cute (and much less boring looking) guy along side some winged girl. A bright grin formed on her lips finding her first targets. The two seemed to just meet as she could tell the guy was introducing himself to the faunus girl. She smiled widely, quickly scurrying forward, quite agile in stepping over various people and sleeping bags on the floor. Her acrobatic nature made navigating through a minefield of the ballroom that much faster and easier of a task then most would find it to be. She was a woman on a mission and she wasn't about to let her chance at what she thought might be a fun conversation pass. She quickly got to them, her arms stretched out as she grabbed both Joshua and Alicia, tugging them into a light hug as she smiled brightly.

"Hiya! Call me Lilly, its nice to meet you both! You..." She spoke looking to Alicia smiling brightly. "You really got such pretty wings, you really look like an angel or something like that! its really pretty, I wish i had something like that!" She spoke quite honestly. She was rather quite bold and very direct about waht she thought of people when it came to compliments. As her father always told her 'offer them praise and they will buy almost anything else from you'. She couldn't help but already wonder if the wings were for show or if they actually worked.

Her eyes couldn't help but look towards Joshua as she seemed... a bit more 'interested' looking at him. "and you, gosh darn... you really are handsome! Such a handsome looking face not to mention how suave you seemed introducing yourself... sorry by the way, was kind of spying on you from a distance..." She spoke, cutting into her own little bit of compliments with an apology at her mild 'spying' on the two. "...but anyways you really look great! I'm sure if she is anything like me she doesn't mind at all you flirting with her. A+ work!" She spoke removing her hand from Alicia for a second to give him a quick thumbs up. She pulled back smiling happily resting her hands on her hips.

"So then... how are things going... well and your names. This place seems quite fun doesn't it? I bet theres so many fun things to see in beacon! I can't believe anyone could ever think of even try sleeping right now. I'm ready to go start the initiation thingy right now if we could. Heck i'd do it twice over if I could that could be fun!" She spoke seemed very upbeat and unfazed at all as some of the other students are nervous about the whole thing.

Before she had time to decide who to introduce herself to, someone had already decided she was worth meeting. Which instantly brought a spark of inner delight to the girl. Her eyes traveled up the tall boy he came up to her. Eyes glittering, Alicia spoke, "Oh, hello, sir! You remind me of mom," she commented airily on his height. "I-I mean.. A pleasure to meet you, I am -.." Blinking, she looked down at his outstretched hand, then realized he wanted a 'handshake'. "Oh! U-um.." she reached out, bumping his hand with something. That's when she realized she had her scroll in her hand, blocking the way for such a handshake to occur. "Ahaha.. w-whoops." Bringing the outstretched hand back with her scroll, to attempt to put it away, she found herself suddenly pulled into another person. Due to her own clumsiness, and the suddenness of being yanked into an embrace, her scroll slipped from her hand, falling to the floor with a clack. Alicia quickly glanced down at it, then over to the side at the person who was now holding her close.

The girl who was holding her close was a bubbly, sweet thing, with a wonderful scent. "Why thank you Miss.. Lilly." She considered it rude to not pay a compliment with one in return. "You smell quite nice. Lovely like a bouquet of flowers." Now onto responding to the rest of what she said. "I make sure to preen and wash them every day. I take wing maintenance very seriously! I consider it a necessity for my wings to be adequately groomed. No! To be as thoroughly groomed as possible; It simply wouldn't do to have them untidy, messy, or dirty! Well.. that is sweet. Thank you. Mom calls me Angel occasionally... Though, usually she just calls me 'pigeon', haha. Ah! -A term of endearment." Her wings fluttered gently on her back, proving that they did, indeed, move, and weren't just for show or something.

Her eyes once more trailed down to her scroll on the ground at her feet, while the girl conversed with the boy who had originally spoken to her. "Huh? 'Flirt'?" Alicia questioned, looking back up and over. Then she was released, and a look of shock crossed her face. "Oh! Right! Yes! Excuse my rudeness. I am Alicia.. Day," she said firmly, bowing. Then she considered what that conveyed, so she corrected herself, and added a cute, yet slightly awkward curtsy. "It is an honor to meet you both. Mr. Joshua, Ms. Lilly. I look forward to our time together here at Beacon." Seeing as how that intro seemed to be good enough, she blinked at the two, before awkwardly bending down and snatching up her scroll. Slightly embarrassed, but trying to not dwell on it, she placed it back in her bag. "Initiation? Any ideas on what that might be, Ms. Lilly? I.. admit I'm new to this sort of thing, I'd appreciate any help a great deal."

As the girl spoke she mentioned something about a mother causing Joshua to give a confused look to her. Before he could respond to that however, he had to contend with a sudden hugging sensation occurring at his chest. Another girl had intruded onto their conversation and introduced herself as Lilly before complementing both this girl and Joshua as well. Of course, she seemed to playfully tease Joshua about how he was flirting with this girl before sneaking a thumbs up causing a small red to appear on Joshua's cheeks before disappearing as fast as it appeared. It seemed as though the other girl, who introduced herself as Alicia Day was a little embarrassed by Lily's prodding and teasing. "Ahem." Joshua cleared his throat before he continued. "My name is Joshua Ebonmire it is nice to meet you Lily and Alicia. Joshua grinned at both of their questions as he started, "From what my sister has told me, the Initiation varies from year to year, or perhaps she's playing a trick on me. Regardless it almost always involves combat, something both my sister and I are very familiar with. Enough about me though."

What weirdos.

Vatra sat in a corner on the upper balcony in the ballroom, with the wall at her back and a railing to her right. She had a clear view of the beautiful ballroom they were to spend the night in, and an especially clear view of the students below her. Now, judging wasn't something she liked to do out loud.. But she had absolutely no issue doing it in her head! She narrated the various engagements between students in her head, which always brought a small smile to her face. She knew it was silly, but she could be a silly person all she wanted in the privacy of her mind~

Her eyes eventually drifted off, as did her thoughts, as she got bored of watching everyone read. How so many people could be captivated by books is beyond me.. She looked around the building and began to appreciate the use of dim lighting to add a calming atmosphere to the room, but one can only analyze a ballroom for so long. Before long she noticed a few brave souls pull away from their books and begin socializing, albeit awkwardly.. One interaction ended up catching her eye, between a tall boy and a winged girl. I sure hope those wings work.. They're beautiful.

Faunus were always beautiful, though. They were the superior of the two species on remnant in every way, but the random traits could be as much of a curse as a blessing. I'm happy being a plain Jane human. Better than being a slug faunus or something.. She giggled a bit, covering her mouth with her hand to hide it.

'Plain Jane' wasn't necessarily a good way of describing Vatra at the moment, though. She was wearing the definition of traditional Mistrallian clothes: an oversized robe with various unique designs stitched and dyed in, and a thick wrapping around her hips to keep it somewhat tight to her body. It was beautiful, sure, but it drew attention in a place like Beacon. She'd have to remind herself to get new pajamas at some point..

Vatra shifted herself so her legs were dangling between the railings, her light blue eyes scanning the people below her. Hmph. Losers. That would suck, sleeping next to some strangers.. So far she had this corner locked down tight, and it'd been that way for some time. With only a little while to go before lights-out, she was sure to keep her privacy private.

"Hm?" Satochi turned his head when he heard a computerized voice call out to him. He found a green-haired girl trying to get his attention with a smile on her face. "Well, I'll make sure I'll walk the clearest path then," he responded, placing a bookmark on his page and closing the book. Sato adjusted his glasses as he decided to have some idle conversation for a bit.

Heilig stepped out on the upper balcony of the ballroom. Not many other people were up here, and while she was decently social, it was the first night, and she was already exhausted from the previous activities of the day, not to mention the looming initiation in the coming hours. With a smile on her face, she went to find a quiet spot, to pray or meditate, or just sleep. Her sister was well, no where to be found, but most likely very close. She was going to need her help in the initiation if they were gong to succeed but, the two sisters always stayed together.

With a happy sigh of contentment she walked along the balcony, her cross necklace shifting slightly as she looked around, wondering if she could get a quick chat in with someone, but there wasn't anyone that seemed willing. Well, everyone else was asleep or already talking to someone. However, in the corner she saw a woman wearing robes with white hair. With a pleasant smile, the Fox Faunus walked over to her, giving her a wave. "Hello." she said to Vatra in a soft, sing-songy voice with a bow. The woman was wearing long, white, priestly robes with a cross necklace on her neck. She was the textbook definition of a priestess, that was sure.

Lilly looked on at the two quite happy as they both introduced themselves. She smiled lightly enjoying the little compliment from Alicia giving a bright smile and a light blush at it herself. She naturally didn't mind being complimented. It was perhaps a strange compliment though for Lilly it didn't even really register with her in that way at all. You could likely tell her anything as a compliment and she would be more then happy to hear it. She nodded eagerly in response quite content with listening to her talking about taking care of her wings. She didn't realize just how much work it would take to take care of your wings. It made some sense given the care she had to give her weapons... granted it was probably no where near the same thing really compared to something apart of your body.

She looked back to Joshua as he seemed to try and keep up a more formal presence about him. She looked at him, tilting her head a bit seeming almost to question his motives. She tapped her finger against her chin. looking at him as if she had some suspicion of his intentions though quickly dropping it at talk about initiation. "Good! It would be no fun if it was all so predictable. Making things unpredictable is what makes things more predictably fun! As the wise merchant said 'liena' he forgot my name at that time, he kinda does that sometimes when I was a kid till he just gave me my nick name, 'yah gotta break some eggs to hatch a chicken... ideally other peoples eggs...' no wait that was another lesson. Either way when you don't expect something it makes things much more entertaining!"

She leaned back, resting her hands behind the back of her head looking to Joshua again. "But yes, nice to meet you both Alicia and mister stud... I mean Joshua!" She spoke as if she still seemed convinced of Joshua trying to flirt with Alicia but also her. She bent over, giving a little cute blush and a seductive wink before giggling. It as quite hard to tell just how much she realized how provocative her little gesture had been with her giggle. It seemed more like she was just having fun with it then anything else. She glanced around looking quite curiously about before looking too Alicia. She smiled at the girl shifting her attention to her.

"Well then, you both seem fun, and you got wings thats like an extra plus! How about we see about going on a little adventure! It could be fun, its much too exciting to just sit about or sleep. I'm sure there is a lot of fun things we can do here, heck maybe even we can find some more peeps who might want to come with us, though I'd be happy with you two lovelies accompanying on such a perilous journey through beacon academy!" She spoke quite upbeat and excited about the notion of exploring. She figured there was no reason why they couldn't go wandering about to see the school they were suppose to be attending soon given everything worked out.

Alicia Day

"Your sister?" Alicia mused about, with the sudden thought of siblings entering her mind. She didn't dwell on it, though, so that she may listen to what the other two had to say about her question. At the boy's answer, her face fell momentarily. "Oh, combat..." she trailed off, frowning slightly, looking down. Her wings twitched in discomfort at the thought of combat. Naturally it had to do with that.. Of course it did! Why wouldn't it? "Yes, of course. Combat. Heh heh.. No problems here!" she chirped flashing a big, bright smile, that didn't hide anything.

Then Lilly's answer came in. And it was a surprising one. "Right, it would be unpredictable; silly of me to ask." She cocked her head, as the other girl seemed to focus on something else about it. The 'fun' part. "Lilly. Why is it important that it's fun? Isn't it something serious? Mom was telling me to take all my studies here in Beacon serious, including the initiation."

Alicia's response was hardly out before Lilly began rambling again. Gosh, she could speak a mile a minute! "Ah! Yes, ma'am! My wings are definitely a boon!" She answered pridefully, nodding quickly. They flexed on her back, and she gave them a side glance. "Though... flying can be, admittedly, a bit difficult." Then Lilly suggested something that caught Alicia off guard. It was odd to say the least. -This girl had so much energy! "But Ms. Lilly, don't you think we should be well rested for initiation tomorrow? It is getting a bit late... Perilous? What makes it perilous?" She hadn't even considered such a thing! Could the school be dangerous to traverse? She leaned forward, "Is it dangerous?"

Leise watched him close his book, feeling slightly triumphant at the fact. Now came the annoying part of talking. Her fingers tapped against her scroll. “Are you excited for the initiation? This experimental group is quite interesting, isn’t it? And isn’t this place pretty?” Her fingers cramped. “Oh, and, before you ask, I can’t speak, which is the reason why I use my scroll to talk.”

Vatra rolled her eyes and looked away from the stunning set of wings out in the crowd that had caught her attention, hearing someone walk up behind her. It wasn't long before this person made herself known. At least it isn't some gross city dude..

She turned her upper body to face the girl, her legs staying where they were because of their awkward positioning between the rails. She narrowed her eyes for a moment at the girl, looking her over a few times before deciding she was alright. "Uhm.. Hi? What's with the fancy getup?" She asked the first thing that came to her mind, overlooking the fact that it could be shot right back at her until a few moments later. She turned back to face the crowd below them, "I'm Vatra. You wouldn't happen to know how these scrolls work, would you..? I've never had one of my own." She reached over and took hers out of her bag. Her town wasn't big on technology, and what they did have was severely outdated. While the scrolls weren't alien to her, as some travelers coming through her town had some, she was stuck on the initial setup screen. She opened it up and handed it to the girl, "I keep telling it my name, but it asks me anyways? There should be a voice thingy, right? I don't want to touch the screen. It looks so.." She thought for a moment, "Fragile? I'd hate to smudge it, too."

"Why yes, this experimental group is quite interesting," Sato said, looking about the room. "It's very different from what my mom described to me. As for the ballroom, I read about the development of this place and how it..." He droned on before catching himself. "Sorry, I can get carried away sometimes when I talk about the things I've read in books." Sato then noticed the girl's fingers starting to strain as she typed out one last message. "Ah, I see. Well, seeing as you can't talk, would you happen to know sign language? I've also read about that, so it's fine for you to use it with me." He adjusted his glasses once again as they slowly slid down the bridge of his nose. He then realized that he forgot to introduce himself. "Oh, where are my manners, I'm Satochi Lucarius."

Leise’s eyebrows rose at his offer. She nodded at him, closing her scroll and pocketing it as she slowly formed her fingers in the appropriate shapes. First, she slowly signed the letters for her name, introducing herself. Then, she widened her eyes to show surprise as she signed, I didn’t think there would be anyone who’d know sign language here so this is really nice.

Joshua blinked at the way Lily was acting towards him with a "huh?" expression. When Alicia began to speak, Joshua nodded and gave a thumbs up at Alicia's wings. However, at the mention of how the initiation might fare, Joshua nodded. "I agree with Alicia, we don't exactly know what it would entail for us so the less rest we have the worse off we'll be. We don't want to go in with a handicap when we are blind Lily."

Heilig smiled at Vatra, sitting down beside of her. She sat down, folding her legs under her thighs, and sitting down formally like that. "It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Vatra. I'm Heilig." The woman's voice stayed a calm, soothing, yet still happy tone the entire time. "And yes, the scrolls, sadly they aren't voice activated yet, the setup is manual, from at least, my knowledge of the device." She took the device from Vatra with her small hand, looking at it. "If you want I can ask you the questions and enter them for you, Ms. Vatra. I have to do my setup as well, I almost forgot to do it." Heilig chuckled softly at her, taking out her own scroll from her pocket, bringing it up to the same, initial setup screen.

She began to enter information on both of them, "Let's see..." She said as she worked, "Name, uhm, what's your full name, Vatra what, ma'am?...I'm also going to need...ah, it wants us to set a password before we continue. Do you have anything privvy to you? Or would you rather enter it privately, you just have to press on the button on the screen, lightly."

Vatra held back a slight cringe while the girl talked. Everything she said sounded way too formal.. Almost patronizing, but not quite. At least she's being nice.. I can't really fault her for how she talks.

She nodded in agreement when Helig offered to enter the answers to the setup questions, and turned a bit again so they were facing one another. "It's.." She stopped, not wanting to cut the girl off as she kept talking. She cleared her throat and continued after Helig had stopped talking, "It's Milost. Vatra Milost." She thought about the second bit for a moment, looking back over the crowd while she tried to think of a password. "Do.. Polly1." She visibly cringed a bit, but it was quick to fade. "Thanks for helping with this," She nudged the girl with her elbow and looked over to her, sharing a small smile.

Heilig gave a quick nod, and typed in her full name into the scroll, and then 'Polly1' into the password section, continuing on to the next screen. On her respective scroll, she put in 'Heilig Reynard' which was quite visible to Vatra as she typed, and then put in her own password. The next screen popped up with more information they had to input.

"You are quite welcome Ms. Milost. There are some more questions, lets see...Home Country, Previous Training, Gender...thats easy..., and weapon. That's easy enough, I'll type it in for you." She gave a smile towards her, returning the one she gave earlier. IT was a rather tranquil moment.

Vatra nodded, "I'm from Mistral, transferred from Haven.." She giggled a little, hiding her lower face with her hand, "I'm a boy, obviously." She'd been mistaken for one before, mainly because she wore her hair kinda short, but her voice made it apparent that she absolutely wasn't. "And my weapon is in the bag over there." She gestured to the bag behind her, "Just put down sword and buckler. Can't get much more specific than that." She didn't want to give away her secrets quite yet! She wanted to amaze everyone at the initiation with her buckler grappling at the perfect time.

She rested her head against the railing and sighed, "Are you nervous about the initiation..? No offense, but you don't look very.. Aggressive." There were all different types of people at Beacon, true, but she looked like someone who might be a liability in a fight.

Lilly smiled brightly at Alicia finding her quite enjoyable to talk to. She seems very much into talking, though even Lilly could tell she was a little uncertain about stuff. While she seemed to express joy in talking about her wings, she could tell the idea of combat made her uneasy. She didn't seem quite confident in combat and such things. Lilly only saw it as an exciting new 'challenge' to get the girl to try things with her! She always loved the idea of having a partner in crime when it came to her little shenanigans. She just came off so sweet and the perfect person to accompany her.

The lavender haired teen looked to Joshua, hearing him speak up backing up Alicia's worries about going around exploring the school. She pouted a bit, her focus on Joshua. He really was such a bad influence on Alicia with that type of attitude! She wagged her finger at Joshua as a way of scolding him. "Now now, don't be such worry warts. A little exploration never hurt anyone, not to mention its just checking out the school a little bit! Its not like there are Grim hanging about the halls or anything. It's not like we will be sneaking around all night. You will get plenty of rest!" She spoke quite confidently.

"Now you mister." She spoke suddenly putting her finger right on Joshua's nose. "Stop being a bad influence on this sweet angel here. Cute guys like you should be encouraging a pretty lady on, not hindering them. Don't worry, if you need me to I can help show you how and personally encourage you." She spoke out in a playful and even slightly seductive tone before winking at him and giggling as if to break anything suggestive about what she was saying quickly off before it could ever be taken seriously. "Okay? Okay! Lets see about having a little fun adventure!" She spoke wrapping her arms around Alicia and Joshua as she began to pull them forward with her not giving them much say in the matter.

Satochi grinned with a prideful expression on his face a smile he pushed up his glasses. "Well, it certainly helps when your dad owns a bookstore and you've nothing else to do." He already had his things set up in a quiet corner, so he decided to go on another stroll. "Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you, Leise. Mind taking a walk? I wanna get some fresh air before listening to the snores of others for the night."

Entropia ReynardThe fox Faunus had taken up a corner of the ballroom with her sister earlier, and now had assembled a ‘nest’ around her of items from her bag. That nest was made up of tools, a few books about mostly weapons specifically, loose components from the large piece of ammunition that was disassembled in front of her on the floor, her equipment for the day ahead including a large looking harness which was her weapon, a vest with a large pouch that was on it open with a sheet of tools dangling from it, and an older music player which was currently plugged into the headphones on the top of her head which she was using to listen to the upbeat and erratically charged music that she preferred. It was still hard to believe despite everything; that her and her twin sister had been accepted to Beacon?! To be honest with herself she had been a little disappointed… She hadn't told anyone in her household about that other application, the one she had sent to Atlas… It wasn't that she had anything against Beacon, no really! It was just that Atlas Academy had a better tech program… Well that and the stories she heard about Beacon’s headmaster, an irresponsible drunk with a mysterious past, who had ties to the serial killer Lockjaw. Those stories just concerned her… Attaching a wire and carefully guiding the lensed nose of the small missile into the body of the piece of ordinance she reflected on the day. It had been an exciting one, that morning her and her sister woke up soooooo early in order to get ready for the day that would be ahead of them. It had been… Rough suffice to say on Entropia who had always been less of a morning person. Especially as she got older living around Vale. Given her carefree nature it was only natural that she loved the nightlife so much; which naturally meant that she was up the previous night celebrating with several friends from Signal who had also been accepted to Beacon. Yeah, that didn't exactly lead to the most productive of mornings. Especially when her sister’s excitement lead to waking her up only a couple hours after she had managed to get to the graces of sleep. After their hectic morning of goodbyes, hugs, and rushing to meet the Airship to Beacon they had arrived at the school. It had been amazing from the moment they stepped off of the airship. The school though not her first choice had been spectacular, they got a tour, and then several of the students had been separated from the rest by name, told that they would be part of an experimental group, after that they had been allowed to explore for the most part on their own until the evening where they were assembled in the ballroom in order to get some rest for the next day. Speaking of rest, where had her sister gone off to now?

Getting up from her spot she moved very carefully as of not to disturb anything while she got up to go find her twin. Clunk, the fox flinched visibly as the missile she had just assembled fell down when she bumped it. Thankfully she had learnt her lesson and stopped using as sensitive impact detonators in them; Especially after what happened last time, despite the old man’s assurances she was sure he was still recouping his losses from when the fruit stand exploded. It wasn't her fault that she was in a hurry and it was that particular day her backpack had given out with several love pieces of ammunition in it. Despite the fact that it was getting late there were still several members of the experimental group milling about as she looked around for her sister’s tell tale white robes. How that silly religion ever worked its way into her sister’s mind she’d never know. She pondered as she carefully stepped over an already snoozing student while making her way towards the grand staircase. Entropia had absolutely nothing wrong with her sister forging her own way, especially if it meant that she got to do what she loved and help people. Though the way some of those church people looked at her the few time Heilig convinced her to attend mass with her was… disconcerting… Sure so her Semblance was decay! What did that- Crack -matter… Looking down she saw that the well worn stair beneath her foot had given out. I’m sure no one saw that… hopefully.

As she reached the top of the stairs she had hoped to of gotten a better view of the ballroom and pick her sister out from the crowd. Instead she had done one better and found Heilig near the balcony talking to a relatively nicely dressed woman who honestly looked quite similar to her sister. Spotless white hair, those funny looking robes (only the stranger’s were grey), a demeanor that just seemed… fragile? Without wasting a moment she cheerfully called out to her other half. ”Hey Sis! I've been looking everywhere for you! Moving with an abundance of energy and excitement for getting a chance to meet her sister’s new friend. It was always amazing to meet new people! It was one of her favorite things about coming to Beacon so far was all the new faces. ”Who’s your new friend?! She seems Greyt! With a smile the twin grabbed her identical sister round the shoulders and gave her a loving squeeze before she ran the risk of collapsing from the pun which Entropia laid down with a cheerful abandon.
