Fandom Chaos In Hoenn

Sora looked at Keith as he then nodded, "I also like Psychic types too. But I shouldn't really be telling you this since you could come up with a crafty strategy if you ever faced me, But yeah... Steel types are my favourite.. I share the same viewpoint on them as my brother.. Their sturdy defence, beauty and immense physical ability is just phenomenal, especially my Metagross here, hes the ace of my team..." Metagross cried with happiness as he is playing with Aggron, Sora then looks at Keith and says, "Team Rocket have a tendency to wreck people lives... I do hope you find your father... But I fear the worst if he was taken during the war.. But, who knows. You could find him in a minute, maybe even in an hour..." Sora turns to see the strange guy turning away from the girl as his pokemon followed him, the girl had an Arcanine next to her, sora then turned back to Keith and said "Anyways I hope you do well.. If I were you I would do a little training after the Heroes Memorial Festival... The Gym leaders here are.... Lets say, tougher. Than they used to be"

(@Kori Zanos) "I would suppose that I am. I wouldn't figure I'd be this popular.." Exes gave a quick glance around before returning her gaze back to Romulus', listening to what he had to say and nodding.

It was true that she didn't like what was going on with Team Rocket at all. She wanted out. But just leaving would be...suicide. Especially since she knew quite a bit. Her inside knowledge would make her a target not only for the team, but also the WPF. If they found out about her, she'd not only be jailed until she gave up the information, but probably also hanged for being a part of that team.

As for the festival not lasting...she didn't like that statement. It seemed to carry a slight threat. It put her on edge, and she grabbed one of the Pokéballs she had with her and opened it to let out her Leafeon, its coat glimmering and sparkling as it landed and shook out its fur. "Leafeon, be on the lookout. I fear that we may have some issues here..."

"Haha, my favorite is steel to, but I got a soft spot for certain other pokemon, like Rose here," Keith threw the pokeball up and out popped a Pidgeot, as graceful and quiet as ever, the giant bird fluttered down and greeted Sora with a smile.

"Rose here was my first caught pokemon, besides Tank, and she's helped me out of a few situations. My father loved flying types, never knew why, but I know he definitley would've loved Rose. You and your brother seems like y'all know what y'all are talkin 'bout! Haha, Tank is extremely strong, but not the fastest, but he makes up for it in his defense. Tank is my Ace and bestfriend as well!" He noticed his pokemon playing Sora and enjoying themselves.

"Looks like they're becoming good friends, wouldn't ya say?" Keith acting like he didn't hear about his father,

"We got a little training planned, don't we girl?" Keith parted Rose, as she cheerfully screeched.

"Maybe you'll still be champion when I get up there! Be nice to challenge a friend," he chuckled in a playful way, letting Sora know he meant nothing but friendliness.

He nods"it wa my brother who taught me all I needed to know about the pokemon world..."Sora smiled as he laughs at Keiths remark and says "I have incredibly fast pokemon too..I wouldnt underestimate me. I may be young but I change completely on the field of battle. For the better I think," he laughs as he says that out of kindness as his Metagross is still playing with Aggron" my brother, Steven, had an Aggron... Its nice to see such a playful one again... Its hard to raise an Aggron to be like this so you must be a pretty good trainer, it took me at least 5 years to raise my Metagross to be as disciplined as it is." Sora then looks back at Keith and says, "It would be good to battle you... But You will have to see my way of battle and full team another day, until then. Stay curious and train for the Elite Four!" Metagross says bye to the Aggron as it goes back in its pokeball, "it was nice talking to you.. He smiles at Keith as he starts to walk away" I hope we see each other again some day" he keeps walking as he goes to the bench located at the memorial wall and sits there

Jayla had, as most everyday of her life, overslept. How she was able to sleep with the amount of noise going on outside her dinky, temporary apartment was truly a feat. She awoke with a great yawn before rolling out of bed. Jayla dressed in a her formal uniform, a dark navy blouse with identification as a deputy of WPO proudly displayed on her right breast pocket, a modest length pencil skirt, and a pair of white tights ending in sensible black dress shoes. Clipped to the black belt cinched around her waist were her three pokemon and a small utility pocket with various items.

She took a quick look at the silver watch around her wrist and suffered a brief moment of panic, realizing there was no way she was going to meet with her new superior in time. Jayla had been in Hoenn a total of 32 hours at this point, having arrived exhausted from her first plane ride and bedridden with jet lag most of the day prior. Though, admittedly, that night when she was wide awake and finally feeling grounded she had gone out to watch the preparations for the festival and ogle at all the strangers and their pokemon. She may have gone to bed a touch to late...

"You got this, Jayla. Just meander a bit and claim you got lost. Surely Captain Renold is going to cut you some slack being new and all." She said to herself in a not unusual occurrence of outer-monologuing. Her worries essentially put aside for the moment Jayla ventured out into the bustling streets of Lilycove.

The number of people on the streets was frankly overwhelming. Driftveil was a busy city but it was hardly a metropolis or a tourist destination. Jayla made her way through the stalls of games and goods just enjoying the energy around her and the fresh scent of a sea that smelled a little bit like home.

"Wha?!" Leo snapped back to reality as Adam's booze-laced breath wafted in his nostrils. It reminded him slightly of his brother and his back straightened instinctively. He blinked a few times before realizing that it was a stranger who had addressed him.

"Oh, uh, this is the Memorial Wall, apparently... It's got the names of everyone and their pokémon who died in the Great War. At least, that's what the plaque says." Leo pointed to it. He waited a moment in apprehension (which must have appeared odd to his intoxicated new friend), but when he realized that this person clearly didn't recognize him, he allowed himself to relax. A moment of awkward silence and then,

"Is that your charmander over there?"

Romulus stalked around the area where most of the people were. He let Thalia, his Luxray, out of her pokeball. "Thalia, keep watch for me." He whispered to her, and the pokemon carefully looked around everywhere as she followed her trainer.

"Now now, what to do? This place is swarming with Federation members, which could be fun, but I do something too, ah, memorable, it could mean trouble back at base as well..." He said as he weaved around buildings, debating what actions he should take as to draw attention of some trainers, but not enough to excite the Federation officers.

Exes let Leafeon hop up on her shoulder, then climb on her head to get a better view. She ignored the odd stares she got from people seeing the Pokémon perched on her head, glancing around. Instead, she decided to follow Romulus to make sure he wasn't up to any trouble-making, though she was sure that he was plotting something he would ultimately get into trouble for and regret later.

"I won't be his chaperon. If he can't handle being in public, he needs to stay somewhere quiet, like Pacifidlog Town down south, huh Leafy?" She smiled and scratched Leafeon's ear and it purred, twitching its fern-green ears. "I hope he doesn't start anything because we'll have to clean up after his mess.."

"Yeaaa, that's Fran-FRANKY NO!" Unattended Franky had wondered over to the Memorial Wall and started to munch on a bouquet of flowers. Smoke was coming out of his nose and Adam knew what came next. At Adam's frantic shout though Franky tiled his head and dropped the, now smoldering, bunch of flowers. Charmander! Said Franky as he trotted back to Adam's side. "What a good listener you are." Franky's trainer patted the pokemon's head with praise. The little guy wiggles his behind in pleasure.

"The Great War..." Adam said soberly. he puts Franky back in the ball. "That is when my father left...Maybe I should look for his name...John Trams."

Sora turned his head as he looked at all of the people standing in front of the wall, paying respects to the fallen. He then looks at the crowd and sees the WPF members walking around, monitoring the event in case trouble assumes. He then sees a Leafon walking around next to a trainer, he has vague memory of the person so he simply dismisses the idea, assuming that she is just a regular trainer. Sora releases his Espeon as she sits on Soras lap, Sora then starts to pet the Espeon as she purrs and snuggles up to her trainer, Sora smiles as he pulls out a strange stone and then walks up to the Memorial, holding his Espeon as he places the stone on the memorial and walks to the shore, where he sits on the beach with his espeon

Another task that Renolds had was to inform young adults about the WPF and explain to them the process of joining. A group of teenagers were gathered around Renolds and Haunter as they demonstrated various flyers containing information about recruitment, training, and education. The teenagers expressed different reactions towards information. Some had excitement on their faces and others looked as if they were ready to leave. Renolds didn't mind that some weren't even paying attention because he was mainly talking to the one who were interested. "Of course, there are also many benefits that come along with being apart of the WPF. There is guaranteed travel to various places that you would have never known existed." He says trying to convince the teens.

"Alright, Nice to meet you Sora! Better be ready for me, I'm coming for you!" Keith said jokingly.

As him and Tank left Sora, their attention was suddenly drawn to the someone yelling "Franky no!"

"What the...?" Keith said confusingly as he noticed it was directed towards a charmander who was snacking on some flowers. Keith followed the pokemon to It's owner.

"Looks like you got a handful there, huh? Haha, but uh, Franky was it? He seems to be pretty obedient too! I've never seen one so excuse my randomness. I'm Keith and this tall son of a gun is Tank. He's my partner!" Keith said in a very southern accent, while sticking

Out his hand to greet the boy.

Marco had finished his break and he climbed back up onto Walter. "Alright buddy, take me to the top of that Mountain in the water there," Marco told the Golurk. The huge suit of haunted armor folded in his legs and suddenly fire burst forth from his body cavity and the two shot off like a rocket, but instead of going to the top of Mount Pyre as planned, Walter shot off toward Lilycove. "No, big guy," pleaded Marco, "The other way!"

Walter, however, did not listen. The huge pokemon continued to hurdle towards Lilycove. Just when Marco thought all hope was lost, Golurks thrusters cut out and the huge suit of armor fell out of the sky. Marco braced himself for impact and the pokemon hit the ground with a loud crash. Marco got up and dusted himself off, and then turned to check on Walter, who had already stood up.

"Alright big guy. Time for you to go back into your Pokeball."

Exes had lost sight of Romulus in the crowd, and judging by her Leafeon's small huff of irritation, she had lost him too. Now she was wandering a bit ainlessly, and had come to the Memorial Wall, where it seemed that several people were standing. The guy with the Aggron was there, and she instinctively held back.

There were too many people and it set her on edge. There was no way to tell if any of them were WPF and she didn't want to run the risk of being arrested, so she simply stayed several feet away and pretended to look at the wall, keeping the people in her line of sight through her periphery. If worse comes to worst, I can battle...

Jayla had not made it too far when she found a stand selling jewelry made from volcanic ash. There were necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and even child-sized tiaras, all inlaid with vividly colored glass.

"Hello officer." The old woman running the stall said. Her white hair was twisted back with a lovely blue accented hairpin, clearly one from her wares. Her wrinkled face was bright with a grey smudge on her right cheek.

"It's deputy actually. I'm still just a small fry." Jayla said. "Your pieces are beautiful. Do you make them?" She picked up a thin silver bracelet with a green four-leaf clover inlay.

"My husband and I own a workshop near Fallarbor. His family has made lovely glass decorations for generations but it was my idea to make jewelry." Her old, delicate fingers passed over the pieces as she spoke. "Flutes and tables are all well and good, I said, but jewelry will pay the bills." Jayla laughed on cue causing the old woman to smile. "That piece is 2000P if you're interested."

To be honest it was a bit out of a deputy's price range but Jayla could not see any reason not to. "Yes I'll buy it. Thank you." She handed over the money and slipped the delicate silver around her right wrist, mirroring the watch on her left. "Have a wonderful day."

"You too dear." The old lady called as Jayla moved on.

She did not make it two more stalls before hearing a familiar speech. Peeking over the crowd she saw a man in uniform speaking to kids a few years younger than herself. "Recruiter, huh?" It made sense of course in such a large gathering for someone to be representing the organization. Recruiting was usually a lower level job so Jayla was certain she was not going to get busted just yet. At the very least she could ask this guy about Captain Renolds and how likely she was to get a reprimand.

"It's true." She said walking up to the cluster of kids. She gave a small salute, her new bracelet glinting in the sun. "Deputy Jayla Kincaid. I joined in Unova and am on my first overseas assignment. The organization covers all travel and housing costs as well as paying a stipend to cover other expenses." Jayla said. "Of course you have to put in your fair share of work but I've enjoyed every minute of it."

@Polo

Renolds is hunched over handing out the flyers as some of the audience were small kids too. While still hunched over, his head turns to the direction of the deputy walking towards them. He formally straightens up and, along with Haunter, salutes back. He listens patiently as she gives her introduction. The kids seemed to like the stuff she is saying since they start to excitedly talk amongst themselves.

Confused, Renolds and Haunter simultaneously look at each other and then back at Jayla. Renolds' facial expression is calm but his eyes hold a glare at the deputy. He notices that she is unworried, given her circumstance of not only being late but also not following standard procedures. This makes Renolds steam up a little. She seems to not understand the situation she is in and doesn't even recognize who I am. Well that is not proper behavior and I will not stand for it. Haunter realizes what Renolds is thinking and knows what is about to happen so he slowly floats down about knee height of Renolds. Renolds conjures up a plan to teach the deputy a lesson. He changes his facial expression to seem kind and caring. "Well it's great to have you here with us Ms. Kincaid. Oh, and what a beautiful bracelet you have on!" He diverts from introducing himself. "Are you also enjoying your time here at the festival?" @roxtrox7

Artemis finally stood up, Riot scooting a little closer before being sucked back into his great ball by the usual beam of light. With a practiced flick of the wrist, a wicked looking ball of black ectoplasm appeared, a massive smile spreading across its face as its eyes adjusted to the clear autumn daytime.

"Wraith, behave yourself." Alaric said sternly as the smile on the Spiritomb took a mischievous twist. The ghost made a noise that could be taken as a clicking of the tongue, but the smile did fade and it seemed to content itself with just being happy outside of its ball. Now that this was done... Artemis wasn't sure what to do. He kind of stood up without thinking.

He started to walk back to Lilycove, with nothing better to do maybe it would lead to something. Like a pokemon battle. Ever since he became champion and replaced his Elite Four, very few people were able to get near enough to challenge him. Of course, without his Four around, it wouldn't be an official bout, but who cares.

Artemis had gotten bored on his throne. His ankle length crimson coat fluttered around his ankles as he walked, lost in thought. Meanwhile, his Spiritomb took advantage of his absentmindedness to knock over a booth selling fresh produce.

"God dammit Wraith," the weary champion sighed as he returned the ghost to its ball.

Romulus' Luxray Thalia brushed her tail on his leg and let out a small noise, alerting him that they were no longer being followed. "Good girl." He praised the Luxray, rubbing her head.

Suddenly, he spotted the memorial wall, and the three people standing by it.

"Looks like a good place to cause a scene!" He whispered to Thalia.

He went and stood next to the three trainers, eyes scanning the wall.

"Look how many names." He said loudly, "it's awful isn't it?" He said with mock sadness. He ran his finger along a line of names. "Personally I find it kind of pathe-" he started, but his voice caught in his throat.

"That... Can't be right." He whispered shocked. The name under his finger read "Theodore Umbra".

He quickly forgot about causing trouble and backed away. Turning around quickly and smacked into someone (leaving this open to whoever!) and fell to the ground. "Watch it!" He snapped, trying to mask his confused sadness.

"hic-Um yeah, Franky's his name." Char! Said pokemon agreed. Adam was torn away from his mournful thoughts. It seemed like that mood was contagious around this Memorial. The man he had approached had gone back to his silent brooding. "I'm Adam. Look at this big bruiser!" Adam's gesture was over zealous, yet failed to encompass Tank's entirety. Adam just then noticed that the mans hand was extended and slapped it and made a fist to bump. He was in a jolly mood.

"What kind of pokemon ish he though? I don't think his species lives in Kanto."

Sora sat there peacefully as the noises of people got louder and louder, he sighed, he preffered the quiet and hates so this event was something he never looked forward too, but of he didnt go that would be incredible rude and disrespectful. Besides, he has no choice but to go as he is this regions champion. Espeon started to get alert, she felt uneasy like something was going to happen. Sora petted her as he said "shhh girl, its alright" as he put Espeon back into her pokeball and sat on the beach by himself, listening to the waves as he took s glance at Mt.Pyre. He then looked up to see a strange suit of armour heading towards Lilycove in the sky with a trainer on its back and then it crashed into the city, bringing a loud crashing spund with it "What the hell was that"

Before Keith could answer though someone started talking rather loudly just behind him.

"Look how many names. It's awful isn't it? Personally I find it kind of pathe-" Adam glanced over his shoulder and saw this bloke had caught the walls melancholy disease as well. The guy whirled from the wall with real sorrow in his eyes and smacked in to Tank with a metallic THWANG!

"Watch it!" The boy, from this position that is what he looked like, spluttered. His face looked stretched like he was holding to much in; pain, confusion, anger and sorrow brewed in his eyes. Cha cha Charmander! Charmander stomped around the fallen kid then started to tug on his right shoe with mouth and arms. Adam couldn't stop the laugher.

Remembering where he was Adam slapped a hand over his mouth. "
Hic-Uhhh. Sorry bout tha-hic-" Adam's stifled laugh gave him the hiccups. "Looks like you need a-hic-drink."

@Kori Zanos

Keith was surprised by the fist bump, as Adam was older than him, but he gladly accepted it anyways, Before Keith could answer Adam, he heard an all too familiar sound... Someone had run into Tank, or tank ran into someone.

"Shit...," Keith whispered to himself as he turned around to see who it was, "Hey man, I'm sorry! My buddy here is kinda huge so he doesn't really watch where he is goin, let me help you up." Keith then proceeded to help the obviously angry man. In doing so, he realized the lady before that had her Arcanine with her,

"I wonder what she's doing? She sure does move around quick and quiet" he thought. After helping the guy up, Keith apologized once more and then turned back to Adam.

"Sorry 'bout that, but Tank here is an Aggron. He's native to Hoenn here! But we come from Sinnoh, I caught Tank a few years ago on a family trip." Keith said patting Tank on the belly, both with a smile on their face.

Exes whirled around when she heard Romulus' voice and turned just in time to see him run right into that Aggron, blinking in confusion. He had an awful look on his face, a mixture of pain and sadness. It confused her to see someone look so upset.

She walked over and glanced at the wall where he had been looking, stopping short. Oh..his dad..died? Oh that's terrible...

Her Leafeon could sense the sudden tension in the air and hopped off of her head, landing neatly on the ground. Exes came over to Romulus even as the guy with the southern accent helped him and the boy with the Chamander stood there and laughed like an idiot.

That put her in a bad mood. Laughing at someone else's pain was rude. "Leafeon, make him quiet. This isn't the time for this behavior." Her Leafeon nodded and walked over to Adam, sitting and staring at him, which from an adorable Pokémon like her, wasn't unnerving or threatening. In the meantime, Exes stood by Romulus, an obviously concerned look on her face. "Are..you okay?"

@GOAT @noremac @Kori Zanos

Sora sighed as he went back to Lilycove as he walked around the streets to investigate the loud crashing sound, he lets out his Metagross as it lets out its cry and makes the sound of crashing steel as he hits the ground beside his trainer "Metagross, I want you to keep an eye out for any mysterious activity" the Metagross nodded as he kept an eye out of anything strange. Sora stuffed his hands into his pockets as he walks through the crowd, he then sees the girl with the Arcanine walk up to a the same guy as before, looking displeaesed at some people laughing, he sees Keith and his Aggron, Tank and then also another trainers Charmander, he looks as he then walks past them, the metagross now at the side closest to them. Sora goes and sits on a bench under a tree next to the PokeCentre as he pulls out a snack and eats it

Romulus rubbed his head and looked up to see the Aggron, that was being called Tank by who was obviously his trainer. He felt a tug on his foot and that's when he spotted the Charmander. "What the..." He muttered looking around, first to the Aggron and his trainer, then to the Charmander and his laughing trainer, and then to Exes, before looking back at the wall behind them. "Guess I did cause a scene." He chuckled to himself in an attempt to keep his usual carefree attitude and allowed himself to be helped up by the trainer of the Aggron.

When he realized that Keith was apologizing he shook his head and calmly replied, "Nah, no big deal, I should've seen him I was just a bit uh, distracted."

He scanned the three trainers' faces before turning around. "I was just about to leave... Enjoy the featival." He called over his shoulder

(My phone doesn't let me tag people! Sorry if that makes things harder!"
