Jay laughed, shaking her head at him. "You've clearly never been out to the country which is within walking distance from this bar but yeah... All of us girls out there can sing, dance, drink and run with the big dogs. We're as tough as they make us out to be. Well, normal is good, I come from normal too. And I'm glad that you fell on top of my to be honest, you're very nice."

"If I had to, I'd fall on top of you again and again." Suddenly, Drew realized what he had said aloud sounded much better in his head and his cheeks grew slightly inflamed from embarrassment. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Not that I meant that inappropiately or anything. I meant, if I had to run into somebody rudely to join them for a drink, I'm glad it was you. Not that I wouldn't be glad if I did that over and over. You're very beautiful-" Realizing he was stammering on, Drew stopped and paused. "Apparently, my brain's filter took the night off."

Jaylynn just sat back and drank, letting him go on until he finally stopped. She laughed, smiling at him and shaking her head again. "It's okay, I gotcha the first time, Drew. Really, I tend to say things like that often, my family likes to say their bilingual because they speak Jay." Leaning over, she ruffled his hair, getting teasingly close as she did so. "Thank you, it's been a while since someone said I was beautiful."

"I may have been incessantly going on, but that part I was serious about." Drew looked at her, seriousness overtaking his facial features. "You truly are beautiful, Jay." Drew searched her face for any flaw or imperfection, and found no such thing. Every little section of this girl, was the very essence of beauty. He knew he couldn't tell her that of course, as she would think him a lunatic; but he believed it truly. Drew coughed even though he had no tickle in his throat, "You babble too?"

"Thank, really. I can't explain how wonderful that is to hear." Jaylynn bit her lip for a moment before leaning back, running a hand over her hair, following the braid until it rested on her shoulder. "Yeah, I babble too. A lot. However it comes in handy when writing songs though I have to say maybe like thirty percent of the babble driven songs are vetoed by Six."

He could tell she was alike him in the babbling department. It seemed they hadn't really had a dry moment conversation wise since meeting. Not that he was complaining or anything - he was loving this. "Six?" Drew was confused. Granted, he knew a lot about Jay that he wasn't letting onto her about. He did not however, recognize the title of Six. "I'm not sure I follow."

Jaylynn laughed softly as he questioned, forgetting that anyone outside of her little world didn't know Six. "Yeah, sorry. He's my horse. '66 Winchester. He has a lot of nicknames but Six is what I prefer to call him cause it's quick and easy. Gunner is another one of my favorites cause he can be like a speeding bullet sometimes... Sorry, you probably don't wanna hear about him."

Drew perked an eyebrow up in interest before sipping his beer. "That is a very unique name." He leaned forward, loving the information she was sharing with him and was hung on her every word. "Don't want to hear about him? You're crazy, Jay. I'd love to."

"Oh goodness, I don't think you know what you're getting into by lettin' a country girl talk about her horse." Jaylynn laughed and slammed down the rest of her beer before setting the glass on the bar. She leaned down to grab her phone from one of the zipper pockets on her case. Unlocking it, she opened up photos and turned the phone to show Drew a picture of Six. "He should look familiar, he was in the background on the cover of my second EP, the one with all the snow. And trust me, I've heard names that are way more out there, it's sort of a bloodline thing in the horse world. Like his Dam was Kicks on Sixty-Six and his Sire was Winchester County, so we combined to two, not to mention that was the year the Winchester rifle was created."

Drew had looked at the phone, yes. For the rest of the time Jay was talking though, he couldn't take his gaze off of her. She got so passionate and bubbly when speaking about something she obviously loved to speak about, and her entire face lit up when doing so, making her even more beautiful in his eyes then he had previously thought possible. Of course, he recognized the horse. It was a majestic mare, and he made sure to tell her so. "You have quite a beauty right there. She must be a treasure to have."

Jay laughed again but shook her head at him as she put her phone in her lap. "Gelding. Don't worry, he's pretty so a lot of people call him a girl, just don't do it around him. I'd hate to have his pride damaged," she teased softly. On some impulse, she started to unbraid her hair, the locks falling down in long waves, that framed her face perfectly. Ruffling her hair, she looked at him. "So, do you have any pets?"

Oh, she has GOT to be doing this purposely. Drew couldn't help but think that she was trying to make it fan over her and her exquisite beauty by her actions. He knew she most likely was completely innocent and unaware as to what she was doing and he refused to let her on to anything. "I do," he nodded. "A dog named Erik that I would absolutely die for." This time, Drew pulled out his own phone and showed off his pure bred pug. "He's a bit of a chubby guy, but he's sweet enough to melt your heart if you ever meet him."

"Aww! He's such a little city dog!" Jay wasn't about to mention that they called small breed dogs coyote bait around her parts because clearly that would upset him. "I understand that feeling though, I would kill and die for my animals however more of the killing part cause ya know, country girl and I have a twelve gauge. Anyway," she pulled out her phone once more to show him her dog, "this is Rebel, she's my Spanish Bulldog."

"Rebel. Now THAT'S a name." Drew looked at the pictures of the adorable dog and nodded. "Erik and Rebel no doubt would make great friends." Drew downed his glass of beer and set it down on the counter. He looked over at Jay once doing so and smiled at her. "What does the rest of Ms. Jay Samuel's night look like tonight?"

[i'm so sorry!!]

Jaylynn put her phone away once more before laughing. "Oh I wouldn't count on that one. If Erik has a typical small dog complex, Rebel will be terrified of him. She might be eighty pounds of nothing but muscle but she's your classic marshmallow of a big dog." She smiled back at him and laughed once more. He made her laugh, a lot, and she liked that. "Honestly? I was gonna go home, slip into a big t-shirt and curl up on my bed with my puppy. But those plans can be pushed back."

Suddenly all Drew could see in his head was Jay dressed in one of his shirts, and he blushed red at the thought. Pushing it out of his head, he suddenly realized all of what she had said, and perked an eyebrow up leaning forward to get closer to her, just slightly enough for her to notice he was intrigued and hanging on to her every word. "Pushed back for what?"

Jaylynn's attention had been caught somewhere else for the short moment that he'd blushed, which might have been a good thing for his pride. She laughed gently as he leaned forward though she shrugged softly. "I dunno, you just seemed like you had a suggestion when you asked. However if you have nothing to suggest, then I should probably head home before my brother comes out here, picks me up and drags me home."

Drew pulled back, straightening his back. "Ah right, he must be worried about you." He nodded at her, in an understanding way, although he could not hide the mask of disappointment that their night together was about to come to a close. "Do you have much to walk? I could always give you a ride home, Jay. It's no problem to me at all."

She laughed softly, shaking her head. "I wouldn't call Ray a worrier, not to mention that he's knows he taught me well and I can hold my own. He just likes me to be home when I say that I'm gonna be home, so that he doesn't feel the need to beat anyone up." Jaylynn shrugged, it wasn't the best way to describe protector versus worrier but it did well enough. "Oh, don't worry about me. I much prefer to walk on nice nights like this, thank you for the offer though."

"Walk?" Drew stood up so abruptly he ended up bumping his legs into Jay's. "That's no problem, I could walk you." Drew suddenly realized how eager and needy he sounded and he coughed. Scratching his head, he shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. "That is if you know, you don't want peace and quiet to reflect on your show. That's totally cool too."

Jay blinked when he bolted up and she laughed gently, there was no use in him trying not to get over excited. "Are you sure you wanna walk city boy? It's quite a ways from here." She stood as well, giving herself a moment to stretch before picking up her guitar and slinging it over her shoulder. She waved him to follow her out on to the street, where she gave a soft sigh.
