Short Backstory: Ava was crafted in a dangerous place for a very specific reason, ages ago a specific assortment of magically inclined individuals set off to form their own land to live in, literally crafting a pocket dimension to live their way and nobody else's. However, an incident occurred which wiped out a massive portion of the population, and mutated and sterilized everyone else. As years went on their numbers fell, morals loosened and artificial means of invigorating the population were considered: Ava was one of those means. However, by the time her creators had gotten around to her, the Pocket dimension's society had fallen into chaos. She was seen as something of a mythical figure by the desperate and deranged inhabitants of the Pocket Dimension, who hunted her down with fanatic devotion.

While the Pocket realm's rulers struggled to reinstate some semblance of control, Ava's creator saw the writing on the wall. They were doomed inside the realm, and the founders would only hasten their destruction by keeping themselves locked up. Ava and her creator had to fight through their rapidly deteriorating home, eventually fighting their way through Mutants, Cults and the Founders themselves. They escaped their home, and Ava spent the next two years caring for her ailing creator, who had been crippled during their escape. Once he passed away, she found little purpose for herself, and wandered aimlessly for about a year before figuring that her Creator would've wanted her to live something fulfilling. But so far, the only thing Ava found fulfilling was combat, so obviously she'd need to train in order to become the greatest most well-traveled Mercenary in the world.

Character traits: Contrary to what her straight-laced nature would imply, Ava's not devoid of emotion. She just prefers to keep things professional in her own way, and thus often acts with an even tone and a steady hand. She's sturdy like a rock, and is extremely hard to shake as a result. Because of this she can withstand sudden shifts in tone or scenario with ease. Having survived extreme conditions already, she's seen enough blood and gore for several lifetimes. But this just makes her numb to grotesque displays that would shock and terrify others. Just because she often plays straight-man in group scenarios doesn't mean she has no sense of humor. She's likely to play into a joke for the benefit of her peers, but her lack of meaningful excitement often implies that she doesn't enjoy them.

With her goals dead set on becoming a professional mercenary, she feels as though she needs to prepare for the lifestyle as much as possible. As such, she's adopted quite a shrewd outlook when matters of business come up. While she respects the idea of honor in combat, she doesn't shy away from cheap tactics in order to win, claiming that ends justify the means in life-or death scenarios. While this doesn't show up often in training scenarios, she'll occasionally mix things up simply to give her training partners something new to work with.

Sword Saint- Ava can conjure up to seven mirror copies of her sword that she can control with her mind, however these ones are far more brittle than the real thing and will often break after two or three strikes, vanishing afterwards.
Feather Step- Ava can dash long distances in a single step, her feet just barely off the ground. This movement is extremely quiet, and can facilitate stealthy manuevers.
Inhuman Physique-As an Artificially created humanoid, Ava's physical capabilities are higher than that of the average human by default.
Preferred Weapon: Her Sword is one thing she consistently relies on.

Special Skill: Painless Homunculi- Ava's sense of pain is non-existent, and her physical form can survive gruesome wounds that would slay most people. However, injuries will still hinder her body's movement capabilities.

Short Backstory: Like most Salmacians, Grita spent the majority of her life underwater. Though her family wasn't exactly rich, they did reside in a rich area due to their duties as servants to more aristocratic Salmacians. Out of her dozens of brothers and sisters, Grita was the only one who looked to the surface with any form of interest, as usually Salmacians were above the machinations of Land-Dwellers. Grita thought otherwise, and spied upon Land0Swellers from the coast, gaining something of a fascination with their hair. As she had been apprenticing to become a hair stylist for some time, she was intrigued by the differences of Land-Dweller hair and Salmacian hair, and soon moved to the Surface in order to learn more about it.

However, it was during this time of research that she discovered a new fascination: Video Games. One way or another, she came across the hobby while she was conducting her investigation, and soon found herself entrenched in the world of video games. Soon her masterful hair styling was used to fuel her ever-rowing repertoire of gaming, with her skills growing along with it. At first her pincers and proportions made it difficult to hold controllers, but a true Khanate always finds a way. Eventually topping a number of leaderboards, Grita found that her fascination with gaming may not have been a pleasant incident, as soon she began gaining abilities related to a number of games she played. Finding the new development excessively interesting, she figured looking into it a little more wouldn't hurt.

Character traits: Grita's quite a casual figure, often acting with a laidback tone to her. She generally tries to go the flow, and as such can seem quite lazy to the untrained eye. And while she's not one to rush things, she's extremely passionate when it comes to her interests: Gaming and Hairdressing. While she's an expert at both fields, she's not one to make a big deal of her skillset as she views it just as something that she enjoys. But despite this, in no way does that mean she's any less of a Gamer personified, as she's been to every con for the past few years and has frequently blown large portions of her Hairdressing money on things each time she goes.

Grita's very open about her interests, and will often jump at the chance to get someone else into similar hobbies. As such, she's always willing to game with someone if asked, and will tend to recommend it to folks who need some kind of venting method. Grita's history with gaming is partially responsible for her casual demeanor, as she's learned fairly quickly that Game Overs are rarely the end. Her Hairdressing experience has left her quite an eye for detail, and her precise hand movements are able to craft glorious hair-styles just as fluidly as her button combos.

Gamer's Hud- Grita is able to view the world as if she were looking at a HUD, which essentially means that all information she receives is organized far better in a visual manner for her. If she recognizes someone as being sick, that status will appear next to their health bar for her. New information she learns about them is added to their Info screen and so on.
Level Up- Clearly her most useful ability, every action that Grita does grants her experience, such as accomplishing a task or learning stuff. Just like in a video game, Grita is able to reach certain thresholds of experience that allow her to grant a slight improvement to one of her characteristics or abilities. However, every time she does this the threshold of experience for the next Level Up grows bigger and bigger, requiring more effort to reach it again.

Preferred Weapon: Her Pincers are the only weapons she's ever really needed before.

Special Skill: Crabfolk's Carapace- Grita's carapace is extremely hard to break through, but it's just as difficult to repair if it ever is broken.
