Work would be better if I didn't have to train some know it all dude and deal with his hyperactive girlfriend who seems to think he should be made a priority over someone who has training on a similar machine and so knows her way around the foundational skills and tasks.

Unrelated, but work-relevant. I personally have to deal with people that says they'll get back to me, but never did. Make me chase them around like I'm their personal errand person. Like, I have several other projects to follow up and don't have time to babysit someone from a department that I'm not responsible for. If you can't even provide what you propose, then why propose it in the first place? It's a joint project, you do your part, I do mine.

Anyways, that's my add-on rant. I feel your pain with the priority part. It irks me personally.
