As the duo finished their meal, Julian smiled at Cynder and laid back onto the grass. Cynder curled next to her against her arm pit as Julian wrapped her arm around him. As if they read each other's minds, both simultaneously looked at the sky as it was entering its dark abyss while stars began to trickle into view. "You know Cynder. My poppa and I would lay out a blanket and gaze at the stars. He'd always try to find a shooting star or stars that made up Pokémon." Her mouth fluttered into a smile at the thought. "I'm going to miss those days. Not saying I won't ever see them again. Just that it'll be a while before I do." She looked at Cynder who had looked at her as she talked with a sad expression. This made Julian sit up and scratch him with a small giggle. "I didn't mean to make it depressing! We're gonna make new memories and I promise you'll meet them eventually." Cynder gave a cheerful 'quil' before crawling into Julian's lap and comfortably looking back at the stars.
