Cards is a roleplay idea that Octo has thought about and we're making together. This is mainly just us throwing ideas back and forth. Any input would be appreciated
 
What is in red is subject to change.


The people of Diamonds are people who are into advancement through knowledge and learning. This does not conflict with the ideas of the Church that follows the Dealer. They're all about learning more and bettering themselves through teaching and learning from others.


The people of Hearts are devoted to people to the ways of the Dealer, the creator of the world. They look for advancement through helping others and becoming stronger as a group. They are avid users of Lithomancy as this is the core of their religion. They don't mind helping someone if they can afford to do it.


The people of Spades are about the subjugation of your enemies through force. They have a very strong militaristic force and are known to be very well trained in the ways of combat or physical prowess. Feats of physical stamina are highly respected here.

Races


Humans:

  • Humans are one of the evolved branches of the ancient race, The Bauers. Of the three noble races, Humans are the most hardy. They have spread themselves all across the land. Many have adapted to the various lands of Cardiau. Humans found in all statuses of Cardiau. From peasants to royalty, Humans have very diverse bloodlines. Humans have a very egalitarian view of the world. They believe people from all walks of life deserve equal rights. This is more so exhibited among the lower classes of society. Humans have a more hearty character and often to not qualms with getting their hands dirty.


Eladeran:

  • These high elves make up the second evolutionary branch of The Bauers. This noble race is known for their high intelligence and their devoutness in their creator. Eladerans are rarely found in the slums of society. Often if one lives there, it has been regarded as garbage by the rest of the race. Eladerans hold the law with the utmost priority. Though they view their noble race brethren as equal, Eladerans view themselves slightly above Humans and Kalfaers. Eladerans believe in an oligarchy system; in which only a few group of people will control the masses. They have managed this ideal of thinking in the religion. This ideal has also been the main way of ruling the country.


Kalfaer:

  • The dark elf race makes up the final branch of The Bauers' evolution. The Kalfaer are highly charismatic, often noted for their silver tongues. Kalfaers have high interest in the economics of the country and the regulation of trade with other countries. Kalfaer have few issues with the system of the world, but they often fight with the Eladerans over religious views. They may share the same belief in the gods, but view practice in a very different light. Kalfaer, like humans, can be found in all statuses of society, and often mix their bloodlines. Their political views are more along Democratic Socialism. They believe that high guilds should not have complete monopoly on the economy, and the government should takes care to regulate such high wealthy.


Orcs: The youngest of the races to enter Cardiau. Refugees.


Halfings: lower class citizens


Goblins: wild tribalmen

This looks cool. What are you going to do with it? Like, is there a goal in the RP? Or it's just free-for-all?

There isn't a true driving plot at the moment. The main goal is to see who will become the next Sovereign of the land.


We decided to leave it more open so other secondary plots could join and potential boost the diversity in the roleplaying experience. As well as increase the story.
