Melix smiled wider when he was acknowledged. In a way Melix was glad he wasn't the only vampire here, that would really bite. He looked at Julian when he spoke. Vampire cat, that was a new one. He guessed he was that in a way. Melix grinned showing his sharp fangs "Yes I'm a cross between a neko and a vampire." he chuckled. "Nice to meet you Juilian, I'm Melix. I'm glad to see another Vampire here, I hate to be the only one."

Eras

Again the elf felt the urge to sigh in frustration. There were no actual adults around to answer their questions or fill them up on this important information; maybe they were just slow. Who knows? Eras patted the top of Desmine's head without thought about this action as he found it only natural, showing the simplest form of comfort as he could tell by the look on Dessy's face that he was a little upset about it himself. "Don't worry about it. Until we find out then I suppose we have more time to talk."

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Julian

The pale vampire happily returned the smile, his eyebrows angled down to a slight point as he just naturally had that sort of glare of a look, but that was just fine considering he was a vampire and all. "Melix...interesting name. Oh, I was just thinking the same thing. It's actually a bit of relief! Now I don't feel so much like an outsider."

Desmine smiled, excitedly, as he was comforted on the current situation and his once gloomy mood. "Alright, I suppose you're right." Desmine replied. Though he soon found himself trying to think of good idea's that would be good to talk about now. "So, um, why not tell me what you are? O-or like to do?" he asked as politely as he could.

Eras

"What I am? I guess you're thing to question what specific species I am. To put it as bluntly as possible I'm a Wood Elf; it's the pointy ears that usually give it away along with my natural pine tree scent. Though my red eyes are quite usual for an average elf so that may have thrown people off just a bit." Eras didn't seem to mind explaining about himself. He tapped the pointy end of one of his own ears subconsciously before asking Desmine, "Your turn. Would you like to explain a little about yourself?"

Desmine listened closely to Eras, tilting his head out of pure confusion. "Wait. What's an Elf?" Desmine questioned, almost with a literal expression. It was as if he'd never once even heard or seen an Elf before. "Like... are they like, trolls?" Desmine continued to question, and it was rather obvious that he probably had many more to give. It was strange that he'd never seen or heard of an Elf, and this little bastard's dealt with Aliens.

Eras

Eras grew silent at Desmine's question, trying to interpret whether or not he was joking about his words. Personally he had just expected everyone to know what an elf was, but apparently he had guessed wrong. "No...we're not like trolls. Trolls are typically ugly and more brutal than the average elf." Before he actually explained further, he felt that he had to add in that little bit of info just so that Desmine hopefully understood that they weren't similar to the species known as Trolls. "Elves resemble human beings except they usually have longer hair and trimmer bodies, also the pointed ears like I said earlier. Oh, we also have magical powers! Mostly just controlling and manipulating elemental things, but it's still something."

Desmine cringed at the thought of manipulation to the elemental environments, thinking back to the Seven God's of his realm. "Do you serve under one of the seven paths?" Desmine murmured the question quietly, scooting closer. "I think I just might have heard of an Elf after all! Yeah, without a doubt!" he smacked his own fist into his hand, "Like Mother Asahi was explaining to me a while ago about the beings of the Forest that believed and worshiped them. Dancing and playing musical instruments and setting blaze to terrible people! They fought for good and what not!" Desmine said with a charming smile, as if explaining a children's bedtime story. "Oh how the Asahi said that the Gods LOVED the praises that the Elf's would give them. It alone was enough to power their life for years and years, decades and even longer than that!" Desmine went on and on. He seemed pretty happy to now know a bit more about an Elf. "Alas, where I come from, they're all either dead or still in hiding, cause we've never seen one." he claimed.

Nikolai looked up, smiling a bit and rubbing one hand through his hair. "I'm Nikolai. Pleasure to meet you." He yawned, covering his mouth with one hand before sitting up.

Melix studied the pale vampire's face noticing that sort of glare look that he had. "Thank you. Your name is pretty cool too." he nodded. He chuckled "Yeah it is. There are so many other creatures here. I swear I could even smell a werewolf." he said and crossed his arms. "I hate werewolves." he said. He looked around and noticed an elderly man walking up to a podium. (@stormhawk324)

The elderly man was Safira, a dragon. He was the camp leader of the camp. He tapped the microphone to test it and a screeching sound spread around the room. "Welcome! Welcome to your first summer at Camp Tawobi, I am your Camp Leader Safira!" he said in a booming voice. "I would like to say a few things before you get settled in and find your cabin mates. Here at Camp Tawobi there will be no fighting between species. Those who fight will be severely punished! Furthermore, tomorrow is when camp activities start. Today is just dedicated to getting to know one another. Dinner is at 4PM and Cabin listings are posted outside the cafe. Thank you."

Nikolai glanced up at the old man, nodding his head a bit. So tonight was dedicated to social interactions. Wonderful. He sighed, slumping forward a bit on the table. There wasn't really much of a problem with him fighting, ghosts didn't normally have many problems with other species.

Poor young Desmine, he so hoped that he and Eras would be Cabin Mates. After listening to Safira introduce himself and explain the next actions he should consider, he then turned to Eras with a saddened expression. "I suppose we should check the 'Cabin-Mate-Thingy'," he said as he stood up. "Wanna come with me?" he questioned, now smiling just a bit. He wanted to spend a little more time with his newly found Elf friend.

@Nico I think I'm gonna drop out. I'm not really feeling it and I'm kinda irritated about it. Oh, and you forgot to give Skyler a cabin.

Okay seriously. If this place is supposed to be a camp why is no one here? He didn't have much experience in camps, or outdoorsy areas. Why exactly did all of the buildings look the same? How could anyone find anything at a camp like this? In movies there were people waiting at the gate, all happy perky and ready to show people around. Apparently that was a lie. Just like almost everything else on TV.

He'd been dropped off by his supervisor who had ever so politely requested that Trystan please go mingle with his new campmates. At least that was how it should have been. But Trystan being... well Trystan, and having a less than stellar rap sheet with his superiors, was shoved into the door as the older male reached over to open the door. "Get out." Trystan was left standing by the gate, watching the car disappear. His scarf hugged his neck as the wind tousled his hair with a light breeze. He wore the same thing he always wore. A dark jacket, black leather gloves, dark jeans and black boots. Black was a great way to symbolize death, and people didn't seem to notice it. Not to mention if he got messy while he was reaping it wasn't as noticeable. A black messenger bag carried his chosen scythe; a cordless hand saw, with two extra batteries, and the charger. It didn't die often, but you could never be too careful. What was a reaper if he didn't have a scythe? Once the car was out of view he sighed, turning to face the camp. Ugh this is going to suck balls.

And that was why he was now wandering aimlessly through the camp trying to figure out some hint of where he was supposed to go. Of course if he had been some other sort of creature he would have been able to tell by scent where everyone was. But things didn't work like that for Grim Reapers. No, the only scent they could detect from miles away was a corpse. It was a rather pleasant scent. Especially after the memories had been collected. Like butterscotch, the stronger the memories the stronger the smell. But that wasn't their only talent. They could only feel the presence of a soul and how strong it's pull was. The stronger the pull (like the stronger the scent of a recently deceased or dying body), the closer to the death that person was destined for. It was like magnetic pull.

Other creatures, well didn't really matter. They didn't have to collect their souls. The damned's souls were supposed to be tainted; Werewolves, Vampires, and those who had made pacts with demons or the devil himself. While a human's soul would shine brightly in whatever color fit most of his or her memories, every damned soul was murky and unattractive. Who would really want to collect those? I mean honestly. There was a natural repulsion with demons. Like to two of the same faces of two magnets, they clashed. Angels had this freaking glare about them, supposedly symbolizing their pureness and blah blah; it got annoying to look at, especially for long periods of time.

He noticed some papers stuck to the side of a building in the middle of the camp, or at least it seemed like the middle. He still had no idea where he was. Shouldn't he have at least gotten a map, or some directions? There had to have been some sort of information given when he was signed up. It just hadn't made it to him.

He walked up to the building, finally noticing that people were inside, oh so this was where he was supposed to be. He'd walked past it at least twice. Oh well. He stopped to look at the paper, Cabin 3B. Where the hell was that? And he sure hoped that his stuff was there because he hadn't brought anything, and his room had already been nearly emptied back at home when he received news that he would be coming here. A voice could be heard from inside, talking loudly. Something about cabins. Was he going to show them where their cabins were? He opened the door standing there in his awkward glory as he looked around the room, directions first then go find his sh*t.

@Nico I'm just not interacting with anyone and I'm not having much fun. Plus I personally don't like role plays that pretty much only consist of demons and angels. Ha.

((Ahh, I've been so busy))

Taylor finished his food then strained his neck to looked for a garbage can. Once he saw it, he stood and made his toward it, looking at the people here on the way. There were a lot of people here. He knew for sure there was one other elf and at least one demon. He only knew that because he had horns. Other then those two, he had no idea what other species were here. He threw away the plastic tray and crossed the room again to sit back down at his table.

A little while passed before someone finally came in to talk to everyone. He gave a small speech, telling everyone activities started tomorrow, no fighting, and all that usual stuff. He said that cabin listings were posted outside this building. The director, Safira, was finished speaking and Taylor pushed himself up and picked his bag up from the floor, letting it just hang in his hand, then headed outside. It didn't take to long of looking along the wall to spot the paper, "Cabin 3A." he mumble to himself. He went to look at the papers when he realized he left them inside. He sighed and went back inside to grab them. Then he looked at his map and found where the cabin was in relation to the food hall. It was straight across from it. Stuffing the papers in his bag, he walked over. Opening up the door, he saw no one else in here, "First pick of the bed." he joked to himself. In all actuality, he didn't really care what bed he slept on. People fighting over beds was just what was usually seen on TV and such. He threw his stuff next to a random bed and stretched out on it.

Nikolai stretched before getting up and glancing at the list. He had Cabin 1B. He quickly hiked his bag up on his shoulder, grabbed his papers, and looked at the map, trying to see where his cabin was. It was a bit away from the mess hall, and he mused to himself as he walked. He'd seen multiple other races, but none he could identify. He still didn't want to be here, but...well, there was no point complaining about it, as he was already here. He opened the door to the cabin once he arrived there, throwing his stuff onto a bed and stretching again, leaning against the wall and waiting to see who he was rooming with.

Dakota~

Dakota sat up and listened to whatever the older man in the room announced
room mates...he thought.Once the man had left Dakota got up and went outside to see the list of rooms and room mates. He waited his turn to look at it and when it was,he went up and scanned down for his name. When he found it him took note of what room he was suppose to go into and walked that way"I hope he's nice..."he said as he swished his tail around and kicked some leaves while walking to 1B. Once he arrived there he opened the cabin door slowly and saw that there was someone already here Must be my room mate...he thought as he went all the way in and closed the door back "Uhm-Hello...I'm Dakota and you must be Nikolai."he said with a soft smile as he walked over to the bed that wasn't vacant and sat down on it."I wonder if they put beds in the vampire cabins...haha that would be odd, they don't even sleep."he said randomly and giggled to himself"What species are you if you don't mind me asking?"he asked.

Damien~

Damien jumped up from his seat at the table and walked outside to the paper."Oh hell no...hellllllll no.I'm not sharing a room with an angel."he complained"Ah calm down.If i have to share a room with a werewolf than you can share a room with an angel."one random male said to him.Damien glared at the paper and huffed out smoke from his nose before walking about from the paper and going to find 1A.He mumbled at the fact that he had to share a room with on of those pu- yuck,it made Damien sick just saying the word pure. Those all white wearing creatures, which he was taught to hate in the first place. He found the stupid cabin and kicked the door open then walked inside. He went over to the bed he wanted and sat down on it.He shook his head back and forth as he imagined what it would be like to have an angel as a roommate, horror that's what it would be like!At least that's what Damien thought.

Ciro~

Ciro finished his drink and licked the remaining blood of off his lips then walked outside to the room and romm mate sheet."Well...I have a room with another vampire. That's awesome."he said to himself. Ciro pushed his hair back and walked towards his cabin and went inside"Guess i'm the first one here then.Beds? We don't even sleep but,alright..."Ciro commented on the beds that were in the room.Maybe they were put there just so they could blend in with the people who could actually sleep.Ciro shrugged and didn't really care about it,he began to just began to get lost in his mind and daydream about different stuff while waiting for his room mate to get here.

Nikolai smiled slightly at the boy who came in, nodding. "Yeah, I'm Nikolai. Nice to meet you, Dakota." He pushed himself up to a standing position, plopping down on the bed cross legged. He chuckled at the joke about the vampires. "They probably do, just for the sake of consistency. I'm a ghost. What're you, if you don't mind me asking?" He brushed a bit of his white hair away from his pale eyes, smiling a bit more.

Dakota~

Dakota smiled"You're a ghost? That's awesome that you can actually sit down as well."he said."I'm a demon and an angel."he said with a half smile as he unfolded his wings"One white one black."he said then folded them back where they belonged and got up"I'm probably the only Demgel here.Yeah i'm sure of it."Dakota giggled lightly"At least I won't have any problems with anyone unless they just don't like me.not because of species though."he said and took out the tie that was keeping his hair up then let his hair fall all the way down to his ankles then he pushed it over his shoulder and comb it with his fingers"Well it's nice to meet you Nikolai."he said with a smile

Nikolai chuckled, grinning at his wings. "Nice. Can't imagine what your parents were thinking at the time but still, that's awesome, and no that wasn't saying you didn't deserve to be born, you did. And yeah, I suppose that's true for me too, I don't necessarily have any particular prejudices against my kind. It's nice to meet you too, Dakota." He smiled, running his fingers through his own white hair.

Melix waited for a reply from the other vampire as the man came up to the podium. He spoke of no fighting and cabin mates. Melix wondered who his cabin mate would be and stood up "I'll catch you later Julian, I'm going to go see if I can find my cabin mate." He said and swished his tail. He walked up to the list and blinked "Ciro..I wonder what he is." he said and made his way to his cabin. When he entered the scent of another vampire hit his nostrils 'Another vampire~ This isn't so bad' he thought to himself. "Hello you must be, Ciro." he purred.

Eras

Eras nodded as he silently stood up to follow after behind the angel. Upon skimming over the list he quickly came across his own name to find that he wasn't paired up with Desmine; would've been quite the conicidence if they had ended up sharing a cabin together, but apparently that wasn't the case. "Taylor," he read the name aloud of the boy he was going to have to deal with through the rest of camp, he'd be surprised later on when he eventually would discover that this Taylor fellow was actually an elf too. "Who're you with?" Eras asked Desmine.

Nicol sulked through the gates of the camp, focusing on his paws, front, front, back, back, he thought to himself absent mindedly. He knew he was late for registration and everything but his parents couldn't expect him to go straight to the camp once he got off of the plane. He slowly made his way to the main office of the camp, pushing the door open with his front paw he strolled in holding his head up high despite his hatred for the camp. Earning a few shrieks from some of the female staff, he turned back into his human form. 5'2, black hair, black long sleeve shirt, dark blue jeans, and piercing blue eyes. After getting checked in and lectured about how he was late, he headed to the closest bench until he was assigned a cabin, hoping not to bump into some overly happy director. Changing back into his snow leopard form, he lounged lazily over the top of the bench watching the leaves move ever so slightly in the breeze.

Desmine had quite the inside thought now, feeling pretty great that he managed to dodge the bullet with Eras' response about himself. Of course he would have had to answer out of pure consideration, though he honestly had to lie about not knowing what an Elf was. Hopefully if Eras is smart enough to put together the fact of Desmine's versions of Elf & Elf's in general, he'll be able to ask that question once again. Desmine smiled to Eras as he stood, the two casually walking over to the posted paper so they could figure out their 'pairings'. "Aw. A mate named Taylor, huh? Guess that means we're not together." Desmine gave quite the pouting and rather saddened expression again. It was for a moment though as he then began to read where his name was, which just so happened to be at the top of the list. 'Does everyone, everywhere, think I have to go at the top of SOME list?' Desmine thought quietly to himself. "I'm with mate named Damien Ruth? Huh... reminds me of chocolate. I don't think we'll mix well." he chuckled at his own sarcasm. Obviously it was an inside joke.

(Wow! Srry I had no idea this started yet...)

Ritsuka_

Ritsu flew over the trees in a hurry, he was late! he was supposed to be there in forever ago! his wings were tired and he had wanted to go here so badly! he may not always express his feelings very well but he really loved humans! he always wanted to see one and he had heard that some would be going to the camp, when a human baby laughs for the first time a fairy is born, the fae as a whole typically had good relations with humans but recently they had been cutting down forests and destroying where many of his kind once called home. Ritsu wanted to stop this before the normal bonds between fae and humans were broken, severed he wasn't scary like other darker creatures were like Vampires, Werewolves or Demons so he had a feeling he had a shot at befriending a human there and if he could make one human understand the need to keep the peace then more would come to understand too.

The fairy was in his sprite form and easily squeezed through a crack in the gates of the camp "I made it!" he said in a little voice that was small and high due to his current size, he rested on someone's shoulder gasping for air he was too tired to fly anymore
