The Oracle Of Delphi has disappeared.
Before that, she was broken. It had been a year-and-a-half since the last prophecy was spoken, and a full year since the last quest was completed. Nine months since the Oracle was rushed into the Big House the first time she collapsed in the middle of a campfire in front of every one, green smoke seeping out of her skin as she muttered phrases in Latin over and over that no one could understand. Campers stopped having dreams of the gods or the past after that. The gods became more silent than usual, and even Apollo, who occasionally responded to haiku prayers, ignored any and all questions about the Oracle. The more time that passed without a quest, even a minor one, the more restless everyone at camp became.
Though it wasn't until a small group of Roman demi-gods traveled across the country to Camp Half-Blood to announce that their augur had lost the ability to read prophecies did anyone think that something might have happened to the gods. Something had also gotten past Camp Jupiter's defenses and stolen their books of prophecy, including pages that they hadn't managed to engrave yet. The next day, the Oracle vanished. No one knew how it happened. A wood nymph claimed that the Oracle had walked out of the barrier in a trance in the middle of the day, and something had taken her. Another said it happened at night while the camp was asleep, and a monster had been summoned by someone to kill her. A small search party was sent out to look around the outskirts of the camp, but they ultimately returned without any trace of the missing Oracle.
Without a prophecy, or any help from the gods, the Greek and Roman demi-gods of Camp Half-Blood are going to have to do the impossible: Find the Oracle of Delphi, and find out what happened to the gods of Olympus.
Only Hypnos and Morpheus campers are exempt from the no dreaming rule.
Only one child of the Big Three between their Greek and Roman forms. Roman spaces will be limited, since only a small group of them are at Camp Half-Blood. If you choose to be a Roman, you'll have to keep in mind that you've never been to the Greek camp until now. You know it exists, and have definitely heard about it, but that's all.
Basic RP Rules apply (no godmodding, powerplaying, etc.)
